There are not enough negative adjectives to accurately describe how horrendous our experience with Lennar Mortgage was. We would get sent a message, we’d respond with a question and no one would get back to us for days. Our initial application sat on the underwriters desk for 2 weeks when Lennar pushes closing within a month. We spent over 5 hours on the phone with their 3rd party credit company only to be told we need to send in documents for all the questions they spent the 5 hours going through. I don’t mind getting the documents but it was a complete waste of 5 hours when I could have gotten the documentation in the first place. We would also upload documents into the Lennar portal and they wouldn’t review them and then asked for them again and I would turn around and tell them the day and time it was uploaded. Even on closing day we were told our keys were at closing, get to closing and they say the keys aren’t there and they didn’t have the numbers to call to figure out who had the keys. My husband and I had to find numbers and call around to figure out where our keys actually were. The house itself is fine, typical builder home but the mortgage process was so horrible I’ll never consider buying from Lennar again. ... More

My experience with Lennar has been horrible. The workmanship is below average. The sales rep it’s nice until you cut the house on your contract after that you never hear from him.

They rush you thru paperwork, bury important info in digital signed documents, no option to dispute anything you are signing. Rush you thru walk thru, identify issues, and they NEVER come back to fix anything. We have light coming in under our Front door jam, and light shining in thru the wall between entrance and garage wall at the baseboards. They rush to finish and close, they don't care about the customers. Then when we get closed, they sell your mortgage to some fly by night company. The "digital signing everything" is the worst process! We have custom built a home before, and bought 2 existing homes, No closing or application was this horrible. We have Constant bug and knats crawling in from outside thru the tub surround that was slapped up. Glue all over the vinyl flooring that we have to scrub and scratch off. Paint all over the windows that they never cleaned up. Realtor who worked for Lennar collected his closing check, never to be heard from again. No one cares. Management team is horrible but the house is decent

Quality of house is poor. Paint on the wall and cabinets is awful, we need better quality of work. Also process of Lennar mortgage was horrible. Hard to reach out people when we have question . No one call back or reply to even emails . Also house construction was not that good either . Carpet installation on stairs are bad. Fooled are uneven .

We had a great homebuying experience with Lennar. The staff were helpful and nice, everything has gone as planned and within the correct time frame. They're knowledgeable about helping us find resources, that helped us get closer to our new home. Everytime we had a service request or questions they accommodate us right away. We also love our new neighborhood.

Make sure you note EVERY thing that needs work on your walk through. Glue on floors is a major issue. Driveway cracks are another big issue

Was told that when I moved in the house would be clean, it was far from being cleaned, I had to clean the house my self as well filed issues for it being clean. I have a low OCD, certain things were not leveled , example an outlet clearly uneven as well the inside door latch.

Plenty room for improvement in quality, customer service.

Fake info was provided to sign the contract and even after signing, proper support wasn’t provided so I had an extremely bad experience as a customer.

The whole process was very smooth. Almost every single person I spoke with was both professional and courteous. Great experience all the way around!

I love my new home! I had an issue with my doorbell as it was not working, they issued a work order and came out quickly and replaced it as it was burned out. so very responsive and helpful!

Special thanks to Lynn. She was amazing and delivered a great experience for our first home purchase.

Just an average overall experience

I had a great experience purchased a few Lennar home at Magnolia Forest Montgomery Texas, the sales team Cory and Will provided the Great price which is Valuable and Worthy, The construction managers Luke, Jeremiah and Anthony did the tremendous jobs through the walk throughs until the closing. The quality of the workmanship and materials are definately Valuable. I am very satisfied Lennar homes at Magnolia Forest ! The teams are the assets of Lennar ! Many Thanks to you all and the Team ! Appreciated .

Unfortunately some of the information I was given during my final walk-through was incorrect and will mean an additional expense for me which is unexpected. Other than that I really had a good experience and I am very happy with the home.

The whole home buying process is anxiety at its finest and it went so fast, but being able to purchase my first home was one of my goals that I can say Im proud to have accomplished. I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart of a master community and looking forward to the growth and development.

For my first time it was the most stressful experience, there is no communication between departs or between the finance ppl...I would send the same thing over and over again. They showed no understanding of everything I was going through I had 2 deaths a week apart, and continued to send me emails on sending the same paperwork that I had previously sent....I think it could have been a better experience if there were more internal communications between the finance dept. It totally was not a great experience.

Very unset. The inside doors or not level to the floor still not fixed. One door has an outside nob on it not fixed.

The current market is crazy!! The home build, square feet and price is the best in our area!!! It is hard to find a home under 400k with about 2400 sq ft. The home design is contemporary with standard high end finishes. The neighborhood is coastal and beautiful. Close to major interstate. We almost tuck tail and ran after we found negative reviews. We are so glad we did not. Customer service is top notch and very responsive. If you purchase in this area, I think you will be pleased.

Nice house great layout having some minor issue but one thing that is disappointing is the kitchen cabinets. When the upper cabinet doors are opened the corner ones either slam into the refrigerator or the walls and the bottom cabinet draws should have pull out drawers. Hopefully we will find a solution

We had an excellent experience purchasing our new Lennar home thanks to Octavio. From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help with every question we had throughout the process. He made everything smooth and stress-free, and we truly appreciated his honesty, communication, and dedication.

Really bad experience with Lennar, Lack information, can’t find people to help and it’s frustrating experience that I have with Lennar Team when I was in the closing, now I have my inspection and no body wants to help me, before the closing they told me everything be ok if some thing coming wrong with the inspection they will fixed and now they don’t want to hep me. Really bad experience And not happy and never recommended

Home was built extremely cheap, you can see the drywall tape in multiple spots, paint was splattered on floor, carpet, all over cabinets knobs, side of granite on island has cuts in the granite, whole home needs another coat of paint poor coverage you can tell it was watered down, cigarette butts and debris all over the yard, was recommended Open door everything they tell you isn’t correct , dirt wasn’t even smoothed out in the landscaping just threw pine straw on top to cover it up, home has so many flaws it is unreal. I was told it’s not going to be perfect, for a brand new home and price it should be be perfect, I did not sign off on originally walk through because of the paint issue , then after calling and complaining they didn’t care they had their money and commission, closing was delayed cost me a day of work messed up my internet connection I work from home, no gutters the rain comes off to close to the house so now I have to install gutters, homes are not sound proof at all can here people talking outside like they are right outside your door, the place was so dirty with drywall dust had to wipe down cabinets, doors, wood work , literally had to clean from head to toe, I wanted to back out they told me it was too late, a lot of these things you do not notice till you move in, they will not fix the issues after you move in unless it’s an appliance issue, air filters were so filthy changed right away, 3 wks later they are so dark, all in all it has been the worst experience of my life I would not recommend Lennar to anyone.
