Good customer service in issues

What an amazing experience working with the Lennar mortgage team. There was never a question asked that did not get answered. When issues came up they helped me figure out solutions. I am extremely satisfied with my total experience and look forward to working with Lennar for my next purchase.

Purchased home for $281,000 supposedly on a deal. 6 days after we closed Lennar drops prices on identical house to $271,000. This is stealing from a customer. Spoke to Greg the salesman and he said there is nothing he can do. I felt like i was dealing with a car salesman. Will never purchase from Lennar again and ive told all friends, family, neighbors, and anyone i come across to never ever purchase from Lennar.

It took till the week before closing before we had our final approval, which was ridiculous, considering we had all the information they needed every time they asked for it. The house itself was a beautiful home but the materials used were the cheapest they could use. And the quality of the workmanship was horrible!!! My home still has walls that are not straight the siding has lumps in it,etc. Talking with my new neighbors there homes have the issues! Now we have to deal with all the huge trucks driving fast through the neighborhood and the dust getting all over our new homes and our vehicles. It is disgusting.!!! On the weekend people drive behind our homes and shoot guns. We have brought this to the attention of office , with nothing being done about it. Thanks for the horrible buying experience ... More

Our whole buying experience with Lennar was the best from start to finish everyone involved was informative and very helpful. We highly recommend your next purchase for a home be a Lennar home!

Though I have informed about cracks in the foundation, they were not fixed Reported about Ant hill before closure, it was not just an ant hill , it was an infestation of ants and was just watered, but not fixed before closure

My experience with purchasing a Lennar Silo Home in San Antonio was a great experience. Nick and Chris were very responsive to all my requests and inquiries. They responded above and beyond their normal duties. Also Lennar Mortgage made my transaction very easy.

Overall is a 3 start homebuying experience, house already seen screws on walls, sprinklers had to be adjusted and etc etc.

Cannot write a positive review yet. Once we get all the promise’s full filled and issues repaired, I look forward to writing that review.

Name a problem with quality on a new built Lennar home and Lennar has it from the plumbing, HVAC, flooring, flatwork, concrete driveway, cabinets etc & my house is only a month old since closing.

LENNAR was extremely helpful and professional from start to finish. They answered all our questions, guided us through the process and I would highly recommend LENNAR to any new home owner.

Very disappointed in the quantity for the price. Cheap paint washes off interior walls with WATER! Nothing is level from walls to ceilings.

I’m impressed overall with the quality of building and don’t see a lot of shortcuts or compromises. I was pleasantly surprised for example to see a hybrid heat pump with a gas heat, a comprehensive insect control system installed during the construction process, a whole basement dehumidifier with automatic pump and the like. I was a bit disappointed that red clay was tracked all over the basement during construction and is nearly impossible to remove with muriatic acid followed by recommended floor cleaner. A minor complaint and hard to avoid if construction season is rainy but looks like I may need to hire a professional to get this resolved or end up tracking red clay dust up the stairs for years to come. ... First off, the seller's liaison Maddy P. was a peach. She (among the CM) in my opinion went above and beyond their scope of work. She was/is friendly, considerate and professional. David S. the construction Manager (CM) was great to work with also. He actually delivered the undeliverable. I put together a list of eleven issues I had with the exterior (which most were already on his list) and he delivered all eleven and one was actually on the drawings accurately, but I just didn't like the detail and he delivered... Can't tell you what that was...but thanks David S. We went into this home buying experience knowing we could buy a Highland home complete with the designer's taste...for $205+/sqft, or buy a Lennar home for $160/sqft and put $12-$15/sqft into it, customizing it with our taste. Lennar gives you a functional home with some of the bells and whistles at a better than market value. We know that most people who buy a brand-new home do so, so they don't need to customize it, but our home will appraise at the top of the market for $30-$50/sqft more than we paid, just an idea... The home was built very quickly and may have over looked at quality work. The home has multiple soft spots on the main floor and also on the 2nd floor. Vents in the master bedroom are loud and always flapping during high winds. Return vent in the basement has a big hole which was not closed/sealed properly. There’s a little water leak on the vent by furnace. Radon mitigation should’ve been part of the home since the average prior to having one installed is around 12-15. The installation of cable/outlet was off centered in the living room. Paint on main door still have the home number visible. Other than those home issues, the Lennar Mortgage Team was great to work with and found us a lower % which saves us money in the long run. Overall, the house looks great from the outside and inside. The price on the home is steep without a finished basement and having a backyard not landscaped. Lennar should have a specific company to complete landscaping and fencing to minimize issues and over payment. ... More

check the home as it has many poor quality materials

Everything started well, but there were issues at our 1st walk through that were never addressed. Windows and sliding doors were not aligned, chips in paint, chips n bath tub, chip in flooring. By second walk through things were still not fix Mark said check it off so you close and we will come fix any remaining issues…… Not the case the process to submit tickets is terrible and the follow up was worse. The biggest issue wears an electrical breaker was going off at the walk through. I identified it and asked for it to be investigated, at the second walk through the only fix was that the breakers was reset, then tripped again. The electrician was called and the wire was fried, he stated it was a big fire risk and good thing we didn’t keep resetting the breaker. He was to update the build and that never took place. Spoke to mark 4 weeks after close to follow up and he said put a ticket in even though the original ticket was never closed. It was finally fix, my wife and I felt dismissed because now that we closed our concerns are not priority once the money is transferred. After closing, comes to find out mortgage company didn’t complete the final credit check and closed without it. This is added unnecessary stress for anyone. Builder mix up mail box keys, we received keys of our neighbors box, this was confirmed by the post office. There are many gaps in processes from loan process, to building, and customer service. Our sales person Cheryl was an still is excellent! She answered all my calls and emails, and was extremely helpful assisting us when our vendors for closet and garage floor work need access for pricing. Having come from Tradions of America, to a Lennar home, we can say the value and overall craftsmanship of the home is exceptional ! The overall experience has been amazing!

At first prior to going into contract, the sales team so super friendly and would always respond and communicate. I’ve you go into contract with them, it all goes away. Everyone on the office plays the blame game with no one taking accountability. They are rude and made our home buying experience very negative. David basically told us that his drive home was more important than us getting our keys and gave us all sorts of attitude. When he dropped off our keys, he did not acknowledge me but walked straight to my husband and only spoke to him. No one reached out to explain the closing process and expected us to know everything. I probably would never buy another Lennar home and wish I could have backed out after being treated like this. Their construction manager, Warlito was amazing and knowledgeable. He walked us through everything and explained it to where we could understand. He answered all our questions and is more reliable than the sales office. ... More

We keep finding staples in the carpet, and my kids have bloody toes from stepping on them. They did fix everything we pointed out during the walkthrough except the carpets. The carpets are stained, and we can't do anything about it. They force HOA, and the company they use is garbage and think that they own our houses and our community. Associa is sucks. We did have a warranty claim, and they got it fixed quickly. They built the houses too fast.

Viridian is a great neighborhood and community. You pay for that. The designs of the Lennar homes in this community are wonderful and the models show well. Unfortunately, the quality of the build is not what we expected for a home at this price point. We have been working through several warranty items which ultimately could have been non existent if there was a little more attention and higher level craftsmanship in the initial build. Lennar quite frankly needs to hire better contractors that seem to care about the quality of their work. And needs better quality control… interior paint and trim is third rate. The tile install looks great until u see the horrible caulk job around the baseboard through the entire house. Especially when areas were filled with caulk to hide mismeasured cuts in tile. Don’t feel like the install was from a seasoned professional. And things seem to magically change that were different in model and u get zero notifications that things are going to be different that’ll what I saw in model. So many shortcuts taken it just left us disappointed. Warped Blinds, uneven hung valances, sloppy install on Master Bath shower. Should have known better when we visited house during build and saw a pile of empty beer cans and bottles piled up in the front curb. Good News is the warranty team is on point helping get these items addressed. However, doing things right the first time would have saved a lot of stress and hassle and missed work days having to be home for warranty issues. ... More
