From the first day we meet Seth the GC we where happy and surprised at the wealth of knowledge, understanding and time he gave to us by explaining any and everything we had questions and concerns about. We are the excited couple who like to come by and see the progress on a regular bases. So if something stuck out that we didn't understand or know about. I would contact Seth and within hour or sometimes minutes based on his availability he would respond and sometimes even show up to explain. This made us feel very comfortable with out investment.

Home builder does not have options.

When I came to Lennar I was looking for the home of my dreams a second home and I got stuck in a home that according to the Lennar seller was just an option and he force me to start the application and during the process he was going to help me to get in to the home I was looking, of course that never happened the guy really didn’t care . Due to my circumstances I accept to keep the home ,during home inspection I realize the cheap material that was used for the construction I’m afraid about a bad wind or rain I don’t think it will resist a storm . The warranty is only valid for a short period . The finance process was easy but I did not get the interest rate I was told on the beginning of the application despite an excelente credit score and 20%down payment it seems like they are in a hurry to sell their homes. ... My experience as first home buyer was great. All concerned parties were helpful and tools used to process the application from beginning to end was user friendly.

If I could give MORE then ZERO stars to Lennar it would not be enough. Working with Lennar Homes was absolutely HORRIBLE from the very start. I will NEVER EVER recommend. Workmanship is horrible for the price we paid. Lennar took away the so called wonderful home buying experience which we will never get. Thanks Lennar for DESTROYING our dream, be proud of yourself.

solar company was imposed on buyers. not very responsive solar company. the panels were already muddy at the time of move-in. build quality in average, not upto the brand name "LENNAR". window installation was average. overall average. buying experience was not the best. had to follow up on the next steps multiple times. no one from lennar provided a clear roadmap of things that would take place before closing and the procedures. everything was a on-the-go task to be sorted with out prior anticipation due to lack of information on the closing procedures. coyotes and squirrels roam around a lot causing inconvenience. ... It has been a long hard struggle just getting the house. There were many set backs, which could have been avoided. Now that I am in the house, 2 appliances have failed on me, and it seems that I have to pay for the repair which again, was avoidable. The paint on the walls is so thin that I wiped it off just cleaning a stain on the wall

Our construction manager Graham was awesome . He has a friendly and approachable attitude and find’s resolution for any kind of issues that we reported. The sales staff Marcela and Tommy were also very efficient and helped us in a smooth home buying experience. Thank you Lennar team.

Good house, but responses to any questions or concerns is bad. The customer's satisfaction is not the primary objective, but rather it is the selling of the house. After the house is sold, the response to any questions is even more bad.

The initial experience was good. The sales rep was very nice and seemed to be knowledgable. I went through Lennar mortgage. My loan officer was terrible. I had problems communicating with him. He was not responsive and I actually lost out on a lower mortgage rate because it took him three days to respond to me regarding the mortgage rates. The project manager was okay. It wasnt until I was in and had to put in a warrenty claim that I realized I was never given the sticker that gives the information needed for claims. I emailed the project manager and he said that he had been low on stickers so I didnt get one. He said he would drop one off but never did. Thank goodness for neighbors. The claim had to do with my HVAC. When the HVAC company came in they informed me there was splits in the duct work. Something was never sealed and the had to put more duct tape around existing duct work. I dont know how it passed inspection. As far as quality in workmanship. At first glance it looks okay but when you actually get in and clean you can see its not great. The fact I was told had to seal tile in the shower myself is a bit ridiculous. I feel that the house should be move in ready. I probably would not buy from Lennar again or even recommend a Lennar home. ... More

The house was not cleaned at all prior to closing, and we were promised that things would be fixed in the days after our closing. We still have not had anyone come to our house to touch up the damaged walls and paint issues. The concrete driveway has FOOTPRINTS on it from the construction workers, but Lennar says 'its within tolerance' so nothing will be done about PERMANENT FOOTPRINTS in our concrete driveway. Horrible experience and will never buy Lennar again. Also the sales agent Yatsi is among the worst sales agents we have ever dealth with. Totally clueless.

Mostly favorable reviews of everyone involved. Answers to some questions where not as timely as they should have been, otherwise everything was very good.

Our sales rep, Mitch, was very helpful in explaining any issues and kept us updated on timeline and decisions we needed to make. The build process went well and as we were moving from another state, we couldn't be here during the process as often as we would like. The online updates were helpful, but the process to retrieve them was a bit wonky and there weren't as many as we expected.

Would highly recommend to others

Overall good value for new home construction in Myrtle Beach. Construction managers were all very nice and responsive. They kept us updated on construction progress, and we attended the pre-drywall meeting (definitely recommend everyone doing this). My biggest issue (and in speaking with our neighbors it is the same) is the final finishes. Drywall final skim and sand not so great, so any undulations and repairs they made are still visible. Trim and 1/4 round is some areas was not installed with pride in craftmanship. I know some builders have a "finishing team" that comes in a few days before closing to address some of these issues, but it doesn't appear that Lennar does this. And if they do, maybe they missed our house and few others on the street. Also, I wish they offered certain upgrades that we could have paid for (ie. chef's kitchen, double wall oven, flooring upgrades), but Lennar does not allow this. We HIGHLY recommend that you do NOT try and go with the insurance agency that Lennar recommend. Lennar Insurance Agency. They were rude, would not return texts or phone calls and would not insure us unless we paid for a full home inspection even though if was a brand new build and we found this out on the day that we closed. So We were without insurance for a few days because we had to find a local insurance agent (we are not from the area so we had NO idea where to get I insurance) We did enjoy working with our rep that sold us the house.

Quality is very poor. finishes are substandard just and cheap. No pride in workmanship. Damages hidden and not even an even coat of paint.

In today’s world can’t really complain how house was built. I’ve seen garbage from high end builders and vice versa so they did a fine job. Only major complaint is lack of customization options. Basically getting the exact model home. Paint colors, moldings, finishes, etc. would really cut down on future work and added cost.

Lennar was not will to add a 220 drop for my electric car even though the house had not been drywalled. The quality of the workmanship was not good. My garage door was not properly adjusted. I called them, but no response. The paint is contractor grade flat. That is not more than colored water. There are significant gaps at the bottom of door frames. These should have been caulked. One of my blinds is broken. Called, but no response.

I had a house from Lennar in Tampa that the construction, finishes and the features were top. Came to Myrtle Beach expecting the same…..what a disappointment. The quality of the work and the finishes are probably the most cheapest. The lights, rugs, paint, cabinets. Bathroom……the worst quality. I had an issue with the grading of my soil prior to closing and the Construction Manager indicated that it was due to rain. A month and a half passed by and the area did not improve. Worked with the warranty department and they involved others to solve my issue. As of today the issue has not been solved. This was my 3rd house with Lennar and probably the last one…., what a disappointment. I will be happy once I put a For Sale sign on the house. ... More

Lennar have a beautiful homes and it is so very big, spacious for the price they. They have professional team to work with entire process.

It. Has been a disappointing experience from sales, orientation, communication, follow through to correct. deficiencies in the house a landscaping. . I am guessing you have too few staff to provide the qualities you promise. The delays in getting to closing I.e. simple repairs and/or replacements made it extremely costly and frustrating arranging shipping, transport etc all of which was easily easiily solveable.

Excellent attention to the client. And was always available through the buying process!!
