After buying a perfect home from Lennar in 2007 I was really disappointed in the quality of work on on this new home. Really poor workmanship on house and landscaping

Overall, a good experience. Main recommendation for area of improvement is oversight / quality control from the contractors. Many, MANY of the warranty issues post-closing could have been addressed with just better quality assurance by Lennar during the build process. In particular the ground/concrete work and framing. Due to lack of quality assurance, many measurements are off from the renderings, including un-even floors and walls.

Home buying process at Lennar is worthy I did not expect that we will have our first home at Lennar Quartz Ranch Meadow walk Menifee. Lennar team made our dream house became possible. Especially the guidance and assistance that we received from Gail (Lennar agent) and Shawn (lender), They are very2 nice person and helpful from their heart. I give my 100 % trust to them and 100 % willing to refer to my friends and relatives in case they are interested in buying home at Lennar.

Everything so far has worked out for me here in my new home. The only problem my head was the amount that I had to come to closing had changed on me twice with being in contact with my son who also purchased a home in Charlotte from Lennar homes also bringing only $12,000 to the table at closing where I had to bring, I think it was 58,000 closing. I felt that I was paying way too much. It sound good from the beginning but I had to go in so far into the purchasing of this home. I could’ve backed out but Christy who worked with me? I had a great experience with Lennar and the customer service was quick to respond with anything needed.

The workmanship was poor, drywall imperfections everywhere and gaps in trim. Pretty disappointed. I have also had very little communication from the sales and warannty team. I bought a home with David Weekley a year ago so I have a good baseline understanding of the process and Lennar's experience was far inferior to David Weekley's.

The company executives are only interested in how many homes they can close on. Quality of home is lacking.

Everyone we dealt with up to the closing were outstanding.

From Erick to Joe to Mike To Megan to Nick, everyone was friendly, honest, helpful and knowledgeable. They made the stressful experience of finding, financing and closing on our first home an exciting and rewarding experience.

Beware of the quality of work done! Lennar just contract everything to third parties. Quality depends on the mercy of third party contractors workmanship. When you leisurely inspect yourself you will find several issues/problems. I would avoid Lennar given a chance!

The quality of the home is very poor compared to my last home which was built by Richmond. There are cracks in the garage and basement. The appliance quality is not good. One of the windows in the closet is overlaid with drywall. I didn't even know that window existed. I would strongly suggest Lennar not make money off customers by making them pay/lease for the solar systems. I had a bigger solar system in my old home and I paid for half the price that Lennar/Sunnova is charging us. Please, please don't profit from us in the name of the environment. We will bet better solar panels at half the price. They didn't even put rough in the basement just to save a few hundred bucks (it will cost the homeowner thousands of dollars if they decide to finish their basement). ... More

overall things went well we are pleased with our experience

They do what they promised any issues was resolved in a timely manner

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

My friend/real estate agent owned and sold many Lennar homes, so we had a first hand view into the process going into it. From start to finish communication was very poor and even worse within the Lennar team. Each individual we worked with was pretty good, but collectively it was a total mess. There are too many examples to give and I’ve already given Lennar so much of my time that I feel like I should be an employee. I’m convinced that our closing would not have happened when scheduled (Lennar cancelled 3 closings prior, last minute without warning - so yes we had already moved out of our house) if I hadn’t personally coordinated the team. Disappointing to say the least - I could write a book with probably 10 chapters with all the issues. As a business owner, husband to a pregnant wife, and dad of 4 kids 6 and under having to deal with all of this was really the last thing I needed. they are pushing these houses out so fast that a lot of things aren’t finished by closing and the final product is rushed. workers don’t take pride in their work and very sloppy. glue on floors, paint on tile and granite. Paint not even finished in some areas. no pride taken in their work and appears they are hiring people who don’t really know how to built. pieces being cut to small and still using those pieces. my cabinets have dents in them, like they had been dropped and still used. cracks in floor before moving in. door knobs don’t work right. sockets and lights put on crooked and not leveled. like they rushed the workers so much they just threw the house together. closing date was moved up. just rushed so they can get another up and sell it. After first home inspection managed to find dozens of flows, while during second home inspections, only few items has been fixed while other ones are still pending month after move in. On top of that other issues starting popping up due to craftsmanship and bad material. Very disappointed with complete process.

Decent value for the money . Read your contract you don't get all what you see in there show houses. Lucky I'm not a lawyer there would probably be a class action suit.

Found a discrepancy square footage for Model C between what was posted in the model home (1511 sq ft) vs the Tax Star (1549 sq ft). Messaged the sales department, received no answer.

Process for punch out list after moving is not efficient. Lennar lending not good

We were very fortunate to find the home that we did. We lived in California, but wanted to be closer and able to help with our daughter's second baby in Colorado. We found this house online and our daughter FaceTimed us as she took a tour of the house. We both wanted it right away, so we went through the process of buying the house. Lennar made it so easy for us and showed us the steps of building the house along the way, so we felt involved and could really see what we were getting. In just over two months, we were ready to move into a newly built home! We drove to Colorado and were very happy and impressed when we finally saw the house and the neighborhood where we were going to live. We closed a week after we saw it for the first time. Everyone we've talked with and met has been extremely helpful...and the quality of the house has been very high. We're so glad we moved to this area and working with Lennar has been a very positive experience. We recommend them highly! ... More

Disappointed because I remember them saying I was gonna get a irrigation system and I didn't get it. And my grass is dead now having to look for someone to put one in thats gonna cost me more money

Going through Lennar for the mortgage got a better rate, but their people have no common sense. Totally aggravating. Closing was ok. Terrible follow up on punch list items. No call backs. Been in for over a month and they have disappeared, but still building across the street. I would not buy from them again.
