Very poor communication from the Lennar loan team. Unresponsive to questions. My condo insurance coverage got canceled although Lennar insurance team sent me a confirmation enail of coverage. Still no response from loan agent.

Home was supposed to be completed in 5/2023 which is the reason we selected the property. We were then told it would close in June 2023. We coordinated the sale of our residence to coincide with the closing date in June. The closing was then pushed out to July 2023. We did a walk through of the property several days before the closing and marked numerous items that needed to be repaired (cracked tiles, cracked pavers, exterior issues, dead landscaping, missing sod in numerous places, missing blinds, bugs, not cleaned, missing caulking, drywall issues, holes in concrete, etc). We were told they would be completed by closing. Only a couple of the minor issues were completed. We closed because we had closed on the sale on our home and had no place to go. We were assured the items listed during the walk through would be completed asap. To date we still have a lengthy list on things that have not been completed and since moving in we have found more items. Not a pleasant experience since it seems that once you sign a contract and put down the deposit they do not communicate with you or misinform you. Very dissatisfied with a few issues

The house was move in ready without any issues. All/any request for repairs were done in a timely fashion. All staff was courtesy and available without any problems.

Overall a good experience. The house was suppose to be clean upon delivery. While it looked clean there were several issues. The tile floors had numerous splotches of grout and silicone in every room. The bath tubs had rough surfaces and scratches from not being covered during the construction process. Apparently the cleaning crew did not do a complete and professional job. I am sure Lennar will make this right, but, if they are doing their job, you shouldn’t have to deal with it in the first place. There are also some paint issues and weather stripping problems. Eleven of the cabinet door open past 90 degrees and hit the wall or other cabinets. I fixed this myself but felt like the cabinet people should have done this. I think before closing everything has to check 110% before you hang keys , also once keys are handed any issues should be taking care off ASAP CAUSE IF THATS THE CASE WITH ISSUES INSIDE HOUSE then I think should be a priority to get it fix and not have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get it fix

Too many problems throughout the process. Starting out with many misinformation while dealing with the selling consultant. A significant amount of builder fee had not been told until after the down payment was made. Slow responses to requests throughout the entire process. Finance advisor was the worst, not being responsive, giving high mortgage rate and manipulating the closing disclosure to keep it high. I ended up paying a much higher closing cost than expected even after seller incentive. Lack of communication among different groups within Lennar, between Construction and Closing, Consultant, etc. My closing date was delayed 3 times. As the results, I have to put my furnitures and belongings in storage because the house was not ready as planned. That cost me extra money for pay for storage and a second move from there to the new home. I asked Lennar to help out with a small compensation, but was refused despite the fact that they caused these delays from not having the home available for closing in three scheduled closing dates. The final inspection was carried out despite the tiles was not even installed on the roof. At one time, one day before the scheduled closing, I drove to the site to verify if everything is ready for the home to be occupied, and found out the tiles were not even installed. But, no one from Lennar let me know about that. I found out myself because I did not trust them after being given misinformation and empty promises many times. Now, after moving in for more than a month, many issues found during the Orientation/final inspection still haven’t been taken care of. The saga continues. It’s felt like Lennar Management here may be out of touch or possibly don’t even care about providing and maintaining a reasonable customer service! It has been a terrible experience for us that leaves us a bad impression of this builder’s reputation from their mismanagement and bad customer services! ... More

Overall the house seems to be good, one might say it has good bones (only time will tell though). I am still confused by the corners that were cut though a few examples include: not using drywall screws to anchor thermostat or doorbell chime, not using wood filler for nail holes in trim, installing bathroom fans crooked, corners not even close to square, etc. Cosmetic things can be fixed for the most part but it still makes you wonder “if they cut corners on that, what else did they cut corners on?” But so far nothing major has come up and keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

So far so good---Everything is working.

Our sales person, Dominique, was absolutely incredible. If I had an issue, I could call or text her on her day off, on a holiday, or whenever and she took care of things right away. She was the highlight of our buying experience. There were several things on our punch list and Lennar took care of most of them in a timely manner. Some things I had to wait a little longer, but I am happy with their responsiveness overall. I would buy a Lennar home again.

There were several small problems with our condo at closing. Customer Care did a good job making corrections and follow up.

Going through the process of purchasing my new home was good. Good communication and explanations about the process and what was coming next. Once I got in the house, there was a list of things that needed attention which still have not been addressed. Mainly the back fence is not secure, the dirt is dangerously loose and my dog has to stay on her leash and be monitored while outside. Send help!

My home buying experience with Lennar was excellent from the sales people to the final walk through! I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Overall a very good experience. The one fly in the ointment was closing day. The general building manager did our walk through and made promises he could not keep. None of them were a big deal. If he hadn't made promises we would have been fine. But he did, and then did not follow through. He should have the maturity not to promise if he cannot deliver.

The home buying process was really smooth and easy. My wife the whole time was waiting for something bad to happen because nothing ever goes smooth in her eyes. When nothing bad happened she was shocked. Would highly recommend Lennar to others!

Doors were never touched up before moving in, had to repaint ourselves. Kitchen cabinet is crooked. Flooring is raised in certain spots, back fence is already separating & we have only been here 1 month. For what we paid, I expected a higher quality of workmanship.

Although the home is in the beautiful Glen Lakes area we had many issues through the entire process as it relates to workmanship and materials. Now, Lennar did do a price adjustment but that did not change the fact that we received something completely different than agreed upon. We are now in the home and it seems our warranty rep is very responsive but we still have (3) outstanding issues that we can not get resolution on. I am trying to decide if I need to involve legal counsel to get traction on these issues or is Lennar going to step forward and resolve their pre-closing issue noted on the walk. ... More

Good going to let my family know

Nice, smooth and courteous. The only downside is that I wish the closing would have taken place at the homesite or the keys/code could have been available at the closing location. Having to drive back to pick up these items was one trip to many for me.

I've built several homes in the past with different builders. When I was considering my home purchase this time, Lennar was on the short list with a good reputation. From the start, they were very nice and repeating soo frequently how they care about their buyers and always focus on providing a quality home. Unfortunately their actions did not line up with their words very often from my experience. From improper storage of building materials and refusing to remedy to non-stop problems after completion. The front line people were great, extremely friendly and easy to work with. The upper management's response to issues were often "we're done doing that" and some of the contractors they hired were very difficult to work with and not wanting to fix problems. During the hottest part of the summer, I believe it was 5+ visits in order to just get a functioning HVAC that wouldn't break a day or two later and the contractor was originally refusing to fix it so it met code until I insisted. It's still not 100%, but it's a lot better now. Damaged shower that needs repair? That'll be at least a month to get someone out to work on it. All those things that were marked during the final walk throughs? Some of them got fixed...others ignored until I raised another ticket. Insulation installed as per required code? No, supposedly fixed, but it's not and I'm about to raise another ticket. Very sad because I was very much looking forward to a quality home build, but it appears I might have a properly completed and functional home a year later, I hope ... More

My new home experience can be characterized as above average . I encountered the usual mix of excitement and challenges that come with purchasing a new home. While I appreciate the opportunity to personalize my living space and enjoyed the sense of a fresh start, I also faced minor issues like minor construction imperfections. My overall satisfaction was tempered by the need for extra attention to detail during the buying process and a reminder of the importance of ongoing communication with Lennar to ensure a smooth transition into my new home.

All the experience was really great, starting with Celine, she makes sure that all the process were smoothly, starting with the fact that I bought remotely, just with pictures and videos. The loan and closing process was also easy to accomplish as well as the walk thru that was when I finally saw the house for first time before the closing. I was so happy and my family members as well that they are moving also to the neighborhood. I will buy again.
