Overall very happy with our new home purchase. There are some minor issues that we have to take care of since the house was a former model home and purchased “as is”. Quality of tile craftsmanship was only average and paint splatters have been found all around the home on the hardwood floors. It does clean off but the cleaning crew that prepared the home for us was subpar. The baseboards and window sills were dusty and corners had cobwebs. Items that made the walk through punch list were handled and fixed quickly. We love this home and are comfortable that we will be here for many years! The experience with Lennar was so smooth, they were responsive and attentive to every need. After my customary walk through they made sure they thoroughly touched up every little detail so that the home appeared perfect. Overall the process was so easy I couldn’t even believe I had purchased a home. I highly recommend them for your housing needs, we also used the Lennar financing and it was a breeze.

I honestly wish that I was giving a better review, but I haven’t had the most pleasant Closing on my home. The closing process went pretty smoothly but I’ve been running into issue after issue after moving into this house. It does on some things, and things were overlooked on inspection, which does not make me the most comfortable because it makes me question what else was overlooked or rushed. I’ll be honest and say that I’m not sure I would go with this builder again and I don’t know what things can be done to fix the continuous inconveniences I’ve had.

We love our home. We feel like we were mislead and are extremely disappointed to find out after the fact when we wanted to have a fence installed that 24% of our property is an easement. Shaun never disclosed this to us and we are not surveyors and the plot plan was not given us at closing or explained to my wife and I or our realtor. It is crazy to think you need a 30 ft drainage easement in Indiana. I lose 15ft of my 16 ft lot on one side and 15ft in the back yard. Our neighbor also loses 15ft on the side of their house. I have spoken to a couple other couples moving in their homes and they were not told this fact either. Shame on you for not disclosing this. I think I deserve a credit on my purchase price! On top of that I have to pay for the watering and I have 24% of land I can’t use for fence or anything permanent. If the water gets that high in this easement we will all need a boat. I would like to survey the other people in this neighborhood who have installed fences if they were told in advance of this much land loss. My guess is they didn’t. ... More

No construction updates, unfinished items still after closing, lost keys by construction crew. Phone calls to construction manager and sales representatives go unanswered.

Lennar has an amazing process setup for each and every aspect of home buying. Service request process is also very good, immediately things gets handled and gets resolved also. All needed and important things are well thought and placed to make life easier like Ring security, connected home Few thing which I would have liked is Some predefined interior layout options should be there like if someone needs a bigger patio or some different color kitchen cabinets. Right now its all fixed. HOA process is bad, nobody guides on that, I still don’t know for sure how to access Amenities or Pool Initial EMI payment process is also not clear, Loan servicer has not yet contacted and not clear where it make loan emi payments ... Our new home consultant was fabulous. Our loan folks were helpful and on top of things. Our issues started with the walk through and the builder. We did our first walk through a week before our closing date to make sure that items were addressed prior to closing. With our final walk through, nothing was addressed from the the week prior. So when we closed and moved in, we had people coming in an out to do work. The lady who did our walk through and orientation disappeared on us after telling us she would in touch to help get our issues resolved. We finally had someone new assigned to help us, but not without us reaching out constantly for answers. Our new townhome was a great value in a wonderful neighborhood.

Experience was overall great. Everything went according to plan. Home was delivered in a timely manner with just a few issues but that’s goes with any new home. Just wish the builder would have a pest control plan worked into their warranty at least for the first six months of ownership. Living here in Florida these bugs are no joke. Second new Lennar home and they didn’t disappoint!!

everything was great, just the paperwork was the only thing that was a bit frustrating, especially paying for the mortgage, i would be better if there was a secure website to pay instead of wiring money.

Professional and responsive during the home build.

Since we moved in we have been having problems after problems. Everytime I call to place a warranty work order there always seem to be a long wait time no one answer phone calls. I have emergency problems and no one came out to help. I had water line bust and was told it’s not an emergency and the list countinues on and on.

The most amazing part of the homebuying experience was the mortgage broker Randy. He was amazing. The home inspection process also went well. We are pleased with our home.

While we have found the home to be exactly what we were looking for the overall experience was a struggle. The lack of communication during the process was astounding. We were asked to provide the exact same information multiple times as if the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. Even to the point after signing the closing papers and in the process of moving, we did not know if we could have the "keys" to the new home that day. Fortunately at the end of the day everything worked out and we did get our dream home and look forward to many years to come.

The home was what we were looking for. The sales team was great for the most part, had to reach out for confirmation a few times, no biggie everything was worked out. The workmanship of the home is not that good, noticing quite a few defects on the walls, ceiling, door frames and doors. Lots of over spray from paint left on the floor. Should have been more observant, but we were so excited about new home purchase. Some issues were turned in and responsiveness was good. First time work was done on one issue they had to return as work was not up to par.

No words to share anything positive about this experience.

At first I was happy and seemed things started off smooth pre qual and home contract but later throughout the process became very sour and stressful. Our loan officer lacked communication through the entire process and failed to disclose certain information until day of closing. At times it felt earning our business wasn’t as important and we had to work harder to even make closing possible. I was happy with the home but not happy with the process. Communication could have been better and less feeling like I was purchasing a home from a used car dealership. I feel lennar is a great company but like any other company there’s always representatives that can ruin the experience. ... More

I had a on site superintendent that was great and we were provided weekly up dates I do wish Lennar was more willing to do changes but I get it . My biggest advice would be to keep things personal and not so mechanical

Must find a way to stay on schedule for closing dates and provide better walk through before closing.

I had the best team I worked with to build my new home in Parker, CO. From my sales person, Mary, who was incredibly knowledgeable on the housing market and Lennar's business trends to Chad and Isaac who oversaw the construction of my home. I received thorough updates on my build process. If I had any questions that were not addressed in a regular update, I felt I could ask about anything and always received prompt responses. The quality of the craftsmanship is on par with a custom home and I know my new home with withstand the test of time.

This is the second lennar house and the experience Of this second purchase was not very professional Employees disappearing/ massive punch list/ difficult to get in touch with and frankly while staff was over stressed and hanging breakdowns under the stress On employee had breakdown during a handover mtg Not a pleasant experience

Regarding the purchase process, the organization is very bad, they approved my credit knowing the conditions of my immigration status, and when they were going to give me the house one day before signing, they rejected my credit for something they already knew from the beginning, they asked for any type of identification and papers that no other lender asks for, regarding the house, the paint is very bad, the finishes and doors are of poor quality, they did not give me alarm systems, regarding the Guarantees have responded quickly, but the paint people continue to do a bad job, but regarding the guarantees, Lennar has tried to solve the problems quickly. ... While the process of paperwork is fast and not confusing. The workmanship the houses are mixed. Please check everything when going for a preview of the house as something can be missing. This can be small parts that are not too significant for rejecting, but sometime a whole piece can be missing. Example: Garage Door Strut Bar.
