Ease of using Lennar Realtors, Mortgage and Title services made the whole process easy. Compared rates with other loaners and Lennar was the best deal

Lennar was fantastic from start to finish. No project is without issues but everything was addressed in a timely manner. Grateful to Cory, Harry, Jenny and the whole crew.

Overall a good experience and we love the size and plan of the townhome. Sales and finance teams from Lennar were outstanding! Construction team delivered on-time but there are some differences from other builders to be aware of such as no semi-gloss paints in wet areas. Also no bathroom hardware provided, and no option for appliances or colored accent walls. I mention these as it makes the home not exactly move-in ready so plan accordingly. Little things like counters, tile, and wood decks aren’t sealed by builder so be prepped to do those as well. Soundproofing between units is acceptable but not as isolated as we’ve experienced with TM. So far warranty has been responsive, no complaints there. Build time was longer than usual due to COVID but quality is good and they fixed all issues found before and after closing. I like Lennar’s everything’s included and that’s lots of value that you would need to pay extra with other builders.

Lennar allowed us to switch our deposit to a second home when we ran into problems selling our existing home. However, when we were able to switch back to our original choice three weeks later, Lennar increased the price by $5,000. The engineered wood floors showed buckling when we moved in; however, the Customer Service team agreed to replace the.floor where it was damaged.

We had given up on a new home due to Covid. But when Lennar in Lewes opened a new section with a lot perfect for us, we were thrilled. We were hoping to be in faster than the 8 months it took from contract signing. But 8 months was our absolute limit and Lennar met that goal. Communication during the construction phase was difficult until we realized that the construction manager Tom as the person to go to for reliable information. We valued his honesty and responsiveness. Now that we are in, we have some concerns in that we are the very first house in this development with a basement. We had some issues during construction that were difficult to resolve but the good news is that they WERE resolved. Now we have some initial issues with a wet wall in the basement and unacceptably high humidity levels in the house, and we are hopeful that Lennar will be responsive without too much difficulty. we wish Lennar could offer just a few more options in the house. No bathroom towel bars, the absence of any utility sink and refusal to provide one as an option seems very strange. But I guess the reality is that keeping options to a minimum helps keeps the price as reasonable as it is. And it is VERY reasonable. In sum, we are thrilled with the home. 1.Not much quality in construction. Construction Manager accepted the issues after giving so much of explanation. Most of the teams giving same kind of response like "it will be like that and cant do anything or putting on the other team". Eg found so much of gap between baseboards and flooring. Flooring team said we are helpless due to the ground concrete was not good. 2. Moving forward need to increase the width of Main Entrance Door from 35 in to 37 in because the new modern refrigerators are unable to carry inside because these refrigerators are having a min of 36 in width. 3. I am new home buyer ..totally happy with lennar

Our home is beautiful and the construction manager (Amanda) is very informative & helpful. But the sale agent, she was a little bit rude & not really care to give a good information when I first time visit model home. My another complaint is the drive way & side walk got cracks & damage not look really good. I have to fix my own. Overalls, we love the house, especially the kitchen.

We were not given any options for input into what was used in the house. It was basically take it or leave it. We went ahead with the purchase because the pricing was good and within our budget but was not completely satisfied as what we got was different from what we saw .

Our experience with Lennar has been great so far. The house is spacious and we have fantastic neighbors. Lennar's support team has been on top of all of the minor issues that have come up as we are roughly 6 months into our home here. They are fast and follow up to ensure things are taken care of the right way.

Mixed experience. Pretty good value with their Everything's Included packages, however the catch is that there is no room for customization outside of flooring, window treatment, and cabinets/counters if your timing is good. What's not included is solar, gutters, and drainage, which are some basic items other builders have included. But overall a large number of "upgrades" that are standard. So if you like a lot of options, Lennar is not the builder for you. Customer service is a bit sub par compared to other builders. Perhaps it had to do with COVID and the absolutely insane seller's market of 2021-2022, but they treated customers like a number instead of a potential homeowner. They're attitude was, "we're gonna tell you how this is gonna work and if you don't like it, go somewhere else." Zero visibility into the sales process. As for after close of escrow, it's been mostly smooth. Small issues here and there but they're good about taking care of it. Overall happy with the home. ... More

Nothing but positive things to say so far. The sales process and mortgage team were great, so simply and easy. The warranty issues so far have been addressed very quickly and I am pleased with the overall quality of the building.

Overall, the home buying experience went extremely well up until the point at which a closing date was set, then moved repeatedly, without transparency to true, anticipated date of closing. This required me to re-coordinate movers, closing dates on my previous property, etc. that could have been avoided by just communicating a more realistic closing date rather than racing to close a quarter.

The house buying experience was fairly easy. Construction was completed ahead of schedule, the ladies in the sales office were pleasant and we are now enjoying our new home. I would however recommend using an outside lender. The Lennar mortgage team was horrible. They don't answer calls ninety percent of the time and it took an average of 3 days to get a return call. We were offered six thousand dollars toward closing costs if we went with Lennar's mortgage team. My lender still beat them without any so called credits and they actually picked up the phone during business hours as well as outside business hours. The Lennar mortgage team seems to think you will simply go with them because of the credit and treats you accordingly. ... More

We put a contract on a house at the framing stage, and were local so we visited almost weekly. We did NOT have a qualified or present CM and that created a lot of hassles, especially because he was demoted right before we closed and our Customer Care Manager, Stephen, had to really perform miracles to get us to closing. We actually are very pleased and love our house in the end. Pros: Warranty Dept,, Stephen(!), massive kitchen storage (Thayer model), excellent layouts and nice finishings. Cons: Wonky, narrow door openings to bathrooms and closets, houses don't come with garage door openers or window screens or gutters, and lack of disclosure on huge property management companies buying up large swaths of lots surrounding you--my street is probably 80% rental homes which would have definitely affected my decision to buy in my particular community. ... Building process slow due to supply issues. Minor quality issues upon moving in, but soon to be resolved. Lennar Mortgage company a waste of tone, very poor Customer relations and constant requests for more and more data . Even required my Wife’s initial Naturalization papers after being a US Citizen for over 50 years ! Supposed to gain access to community website after a short time, but already here for 7 weeks and no contact. So very poor community relationship.

There were a few issues with the new residence. The team helped as much as possible. But sometimes it's a little tough to get ahold of them.

It's a long drawn out process. Kayla was extremely patient and helpful as my loan officer. Without her I would have bailed out of buying a home altogether. Very helpful.

Helpful and patient with the entire home process

My husband and I were so excited to finally get our bid excepted for our Lennar home. The process seemed very seamless early on our loan officer and loan processor we’re fantastic. The Lennar staff in the sales office were fantastic as well. The one thing I think could be improved is when homeowners are doing their a celebration walk-through it is scheduled about a month out from actual closing so when the walk-through is happening is easy to forget everything that is discussed reference your new Lennar home. I wish that celebration walk-through is scheduled a little closer to closing or on closing day. As we got closer to the closing process when is it became a little chaotic. What I think is Lennar ran out of staff to assist of the homebuyers who are closing around the same time and this also may have affected delays in our closing. But everything else was fantastic and we were very happy overall. ... More

They were working on my house the last day before I closed. Some things are still not done. The landscaping is shoddy but the structure and interior are really nice. I’d recommend but expect a wild ride.
