We really love the area that we are in. Sure we wish some of items of the community were different. The communication with the sales rep was ok. I never heard from him on the closing day or after. Not even a check in to make sure everything was good. The New Home Orientation seemed to be a pretty decent list before we closed on the house. It has been two and a half months since closing and we are still waiting on some of those items to be fixed.

There is really not much good to say about this experience with this Lennar home. This is my second Lennar new home. I purchased the first in St. Augustine (Winward Ranch, Princeton). It had a few minor issues, but overall was a nice home. This home, first community for Lennar in Ocala FL, is a workmanship nightmare. From the curb appeal (lawns are substandard St. Aug grass full of weeds and different varieties) to the concrete work (just go for a walk in the hood and look, including mine!). The CM assigned to me did nothing (he had a complete list on April 29th, my closing was May 25th) until it was too late then walked off the job the day before my closing with a list as long as your arm to fix. The drywall is horrible with major seams in the ceiling visible (these were pointed out just after I signed contract in April, NOW, they will be disrupting our home with a major repair (once approved). Our windows were scratched to the point of the sliders needing replaced. The tile grout work is substandard as is the trim work and the painting. Overspray of the trim paint on the walls, clearly did not prep the trim prior to painting (gouges, burrs, nail holes etc). Tile in the shower near the valves bulges out 3/8 to 1/2" on an outside corner which is very visible. Garage door seals another miss. Clearly Lennar got the bottom of the barrel on the subs. It does amaze me how the subs seem to control the construction site management. This clearly is not a subdivision that Lennar should be proud of or even attempt to "showcase". ... More

Choosing upgrades with Lennar is a joke. For example floor upgrading means paying extra for having tile for areas where make sense to have tile, but Lennar standard is carpet. The interior designer who works with Lennar in my case have not finished installing my window shutters at the time that I'm writing this review (moved in 3 months ago). The quality of the shutters is low since they usually ordered from Mexico to reduce the cost. They have a contract with a local shutter provider which are not responsive to any emails and phone calls. They already send the installer twice with defective, wrong, or missing shutter panels. I'm still waiting for a missing part to come from Mexico. I was expecting to have them all installed before my moving. Lennar agent said the designer for their own reason doesn't do that. But the designer agent said Lennar doesn't allow us to install the shutters before moving. The first time that I used my bathtub, I got a leak and they had to sent people to fix the leak, drywall, carpet, .... The issue was that the plumber missed fully tighten the bathtub drain. I wish Lennar would have paid more to someone to check the plumber work. In the past 3 months I also experienced other minor electrical and plumbing issues too. ... More

Lennar’s branding and sales (Sarah was great!) and the layout of my Davis home drew me in. Decent incentives before year’s end. I was impressed with the level of communication through the first months of build. Patrick, one of the construction managers, was super helpful. Once the timeline got closer things started a bit more chaotic. A major hail storm didn’t help. The last construction manager was very frustrating to work with - didn’t listen nor communicate well. Chris, head of construction, came thru in the end — listening well. This being my first new build, I was frustrated once getting into the home on the level of quality of certain things. Paint was a thin coat, cabinets were low level with poor finishing to name just a few. Attention to detail is something I had to stay on top of. Finishing touches for an almost $1m home were disappointing, frustrating. I’ve had to stay on top of the warranty process and push for things to be made right and not be afraid to speak up. First world problems, for sure, and it was an eye opening experience. Would I buy from Lennar again? I wouldn’t do a new build non-custom home again from any builder. I financed with Lennar Mortgage, they helped with the best interest rate possible at that time. Home built quality is good. Service requests are attended promptly and timely resolutions are provided.

Our home buying experience was not stressful. We did a complete walk through a couple of weeks before closing and then a final check the morning before we closed. Any items that needed to be addressed after closing were handled in a very timely manner.

Our sales rep Matt was very instrumental in our decision to be part of the community. He was very accommodating and tried his best to answer all our questions and concerns. As first time home buyers there is always this anxiety of a huge purchase and the process involved. Matt worked with us to ensure the process was smooth and less stressful. We are happy with our home and hopefully will be a part of the community for a long time.

I love the fact that EVERYTHING was included.

I'll say the sales member for Lennar was probably the best employee Lennar has. He was always returning calls and finding solutions for us if we had an issue. On the other hand, the builder was not. The builder/CM was always giving some excuse and or promising something and not coming through. We have since closing, realized how much he missed in the building process as well as didn't do something he said he would before close. Have heard rumors that he's just average in terms of CM and was not the best one on this development. I can certainly attest to that at this point.

The first time I came out to meet the Sales agent "Cindy" to find out about the possibility of becoming a homeowner. My entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in my experience with all including the builder was great, he listen if I had any concerns which were not many. I love the quality and value of my new home. If I had to mention anything I would say I would have like if the builder gave little more patio/porch in the backyard. However; The Lennar -Team and every one made me me feel at ease. They provided exceptional customer service. I do not remember everyone I had contact with, but the Lennar staff-Team members, are a awesome group of people. Logan, believe he was the loan officer made me feel comfortable the first time I spoke with him, as he walked me through the process from start to finish, which took away our feeling of stress or being overly anxious. As of now I am enjoying my Lennar home, and I highly recommend all the Lennar team.. ... More

Reasonable home but numerous areas where cost cutting over quality is obvious. Flooring in particular is awful. Supposedly engineered wood, but the "wood" veneer is extremely thin and fragile, with nicks and scratches evident and no way to repair them easily. Finish on floor is truly terrible. Appliances work but are entry level units in a place that is not entry level price. Insufficient sound absorption material under the "wood" floors allows us to hear the upstairs residents walking around, moving chairs and even talking loudly. More padding beneath the floors would not be expensive and make a huge difference. AC unit is minimal efficiency (12 SEER) and intake is VERY noisy. ... More

The actual home buying was super easy and pleasant! The home itself is cheaply built and the neighborhood is definitely not as described.

Lennar worked with buyerin providing best experience in home purchase and building.

the quality of work was very bad what you see on the model home was not what you get without saying one word about it, i do not recommend this builder to anyone

I am very disappointed in the quality of the kitchen cabinets. Not enough space and set too high.

Zach in sales office is a rockstar!!! Little disappointed that Lennar wanted me to close on the house without a shower enclosure and lanai cage- they have not been to responsive to post closing issues either. Zach rocks!!

The home was dirty when I moved in. It took me forever to unpack because I had to clean before I started unpacking and clean as I went along. The baseboards were filthy. The paint job was really sloppy. I’m still cleaning up paint spills and splatters off the vinyl plank flooring. Also having to touch up paint on the walls and baseboards. Communication skills were poor not only with customers, but amongst yourselves.

I can't say enough to express my gratitude for Laura, Ashley, Lisa, and Hannah. There were LOTS of questions and handholding that was always met with a quick response and kindness. They went over and above my father and I appreciate it!!

My home buying experience with Lennar was great absolutely zero issues or complaints & I love my new area ..but for the price these homes are currently being sold for the flooring is very sub par unless you love a lot of carpet & I've seen better quality bath tubs in an apartment

Fantastic experience until signing of purchase agreement. Communication from Lennar new home sales consultant was primarily limited, ambiguous and reactive throughout the building phases. Issues prior to closing left incomplete with no follow up. Construction issues discussed on closing day remain outstanding after two months. Warranty service items are not readily available for homeowners to view once submitted. Warranty service items slow to be resolved.

The process from the start was awesome. Our home advisor helped us negotiate when our realtor didn't. She thought we should go in at full price. The Lender was slower than molasses, but the title company was quick and efficient. Overall, I would buy another, larger Lennar home in my near future.

The home buying process was quick and easy for us. Everything was done via the app and the closing was done over zoom. We love the house!
