Overall a good experience just really slow to respond to questions about the house and I’m still waiting to hear back from emails a month later especially after we moved in it’s been impossible to get a hold of anyone for issues it’s very frustrating

Overall, a good experience. Main recommendation for area of improvement is oversight / quality control from the contractors. Many, MANY of the warranty issues post-closing could have been addressed with just better quality assurance by Lennar during the build process. In particular the ground/concrete work and framing. Due to lack of quality assurance, many measurements are off from the renderings, including un-even floors and walls.

Home buying process at Lennar is worthy I did not expect that we will have our first home at Lennar Quartz Ranch Meadow walk Menifee. Lennar team made our dream house became possible. Especially the guidance and assistance that we received from Gail (Lennar agent) and Shawn (lender), They are very2 nice person and helpful from their heart. I give my 100 % trust to them and 100 % willing to refer to my friends and relatives in case they are interested in buying home at Lennar.

Everyone we dealt with up to the closing were outstanding.

The paperwork side of the home buying process was very smooth and convenient. For the price of the house, the quality of materials is lacking. It would have been very helpful to have an irrigation system, security system, and better quality flooring/hardware/lighting for the price.

It was a mixed experience as the selling agent wouldn’t let us have our realtor on board, she gave us a hard time, other than that every thing else was good.

Overall the house seems to be good, one might say it has good bones (only time will tell though). I am still confused by the corners that were cut though a few examples include: not using drywall screws to anchor thermostat or doorbell chime, not using wood filler for nail holes in trim, installing bathroom fans crooked, corners not even close to square, etc. Cosmetic things can be fixed for the most part but it still makes you wonder “if they cut corners on that, what else did they cut corners on?” But so far nothing major has come up and keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Going through the process of purchasing my new home was good. Good communication and explanations about the process and what was coming next. Once I got in the house, there was a list of things that needed attention which still have not been addressed. Mainly the back fence is not secure, the dirt is dangerously loose and my dog has to stay on her leash and be monitored while outside. Send help!

My new home experience can be characterized as above average . I encountered the usual mix of excitement and challenges that come with purchasing a new home. While I appreciate the opportunity to personalize my living space and enjoyed the sense of a fresh start, I also faced minor issues like minor construction imperfections. My overall satisfaction was tempered by the need for extra attention to detail during the buying process and a reminder of the importance of ongoing communication with Lennar to ensure a smooth transition into my new home.

Angie in Carver helped me and she was the best sales rep I had come across—I met 2 others. She was empathetic, was interested in my business and just an all around joy to work with. She is 90% the reason why I purchased the home.

I would like to compliment the Lennar team of workers that keep this ship moving in the right direction. No easy task. Had great interactions along the way with everyone, sales (Greg), project managers (Miguel & Kimberly) and Sam on the Customer service end. Very professional and helpful. Started off with a non responsive and overwhelmed project manager, which was switched to a new but too late in the project. A lot was missed in the finish work that should have been caught by inspections and managers. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. Here are SOME of the issues with the finish work; -Joint compound (spackle) drops everywhere. (Rugs, walls, doors, and moldings) -The spackle work in general was poor. especially around bathroom transom window, showers, ceiling seams. - Door casing, base moldings and quarter round is caulked heavily to hide big gaps. -Base molding shimmed from the wall to cover flooring shortage/gap! -Uneven walls/moldings. -Entry door off the garage is installed poorly. (Large gap created behind the casing filled with a ton of caulk) -Walls painted over unsanded spackle and large spackle drops. I am extremely disappointed that I will have to move into a brand new home and have professional contactors fix these issue properly. I have seen the quick fixes that Lennar contractors have done and I am left in disbelief by the lack of attention to detail. Other than the experience with lending my overall experience was good.

The process of purchasing the home with Lennar was great, it was quick and easy especially since it’s a brand new home. Once moved in, everything also ran smoothly ( only ran into two problems, AC and toilet) so far. The team were very responsive to the issues and fixed it right away. The quality of workmanship however was hoping a better quality ( not too bad but wish it’s better, expecting more). Be aware of the walk through and issue. Buying was easy with our realtor involved. Our Lennar Rep was great. Once we signed and purchased the home the Lennar Rep stopped responding to messages. Also, a service we submitted over a month ago has still not been completed, even though the ticket was closed. You can see how that might shake our trust. Our home is beautiful and so far, minimal build issues.

Homes were put up too quickly with many imperfections. They can do a better job at quality control.

Buying a home thru Lennar was a simply process.

This is our second home with Lennar and mostly had smooth experience through out the home buying process. Worked again with Joseph (sales), Leslie (loan officer) and Tony (escrow officer) from Lennar who were able to walk thru the closing process seamlessly and was able to answer all our questions in timely manner. Only issue we had was with Nicole from construction team during closing who won’t communicate neither respond to messages nor calls and had hard time getting details.

Fastest closing we have experienced has its pro’s and cons… we got keys in just over 2 weeks. However the timeline to push for closing was so tight it was difficult to really examine the property. I recommend a 3rd party inspection! Many aspects of the home from various trades are mediocre at best. Drywall is lumpy and uneven. Paint is inconsistent and patchy. Floor trim has zero craftsmanship and many gaps. Walls are bowed. Plot grading is horrible, the lumpy yard will need re-graded and filled w fresh top soil. Garage is minimally mudded and not at all ready for primer/paint. Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms have no finish trim even after we asked for it to be finished. Shower is caulked terribly and had to be stripped and re-done. Garage needs more than one available outlet. Concrete was sloppily finished and brick layers exercised no care in cleaning mortar droppings of concrete. We will have to chisel it all off for a clean and smooth patio. Wood damage outside was filled with soft silicone and painted over. Its still soft to the touch. Cabinets in bathrooms have no drawers at all. Kitchen sink faucet was installed sideways. Garage door framing had to be filled due to excessive gaps between wood and drywall and the outside was clearly visible on both sides. I could keep going. The point is, make time to thoroughly inspect and know you are purchasing basic, bare bones, bottom shelf housing. ... More

House was very dirty and the things I found one my first walk thou wasn't done on my move in day. Plus we had to wait for Daryll to arrive and I was told to be on time. I am still waiting for items to be fixed.

Bought my 2nd townhome with Lennar in wake forest, NC area. All I can say Lennar delivers on time. However their finish quality has gone down significantly, they don’t pay much attention to detail before final walkthrough, even you note the issues it required multiple follow for the same issue. Sales process and customization almost to NIL. They kind of operate in zone of take it or leave it. So unless you are looking for an investment property you kind of avoid even for large single family home. Where color, design, floors, carpets, cabinets are predesigned by Lennar to max 2-3 combined packages for the community. Essentially they keep their profit and cost controlled through standardization. You end up living in house exactly same as all you community neighbors are living. You won’t miss your home if you sleep over in your Neighbours house LOL! Their customer service is prompt in response. It’s another matter they go by exactly as written in contract. I love the home and overall community. There are sone items from the builder stand point that I think should be handled differently. First, I have noticed multiple homes being sold to corporate rental companies at much lower prices which affects my homes price. Secondly, I have found the landscaping to be very cheap and not planted all that well. Since moving in I have had multiple dead shrubs and my grass is dying while other lots are flourishing. The grass is flourishing without water. I water my trees, bushes and grass twice a day but still dying.

I love my lennar home! There is some issues moving in due to the communication and wasn't even informed about the next step of moving to the new property which is quite disappointing but overall it's a great place to live!

I do wish during the walk-through we were given a list of things to remember and do when moving into the house. When we are doing the walk-through, and we are being told all these things we need to remember, let’s be serious we are barely going to remember every single detail that’s being told to us all at once. A list of to do items & need to know items is very important and I wish that was provided. There is also things around the condo that needed to be done prior to escrow closing unfortunately some of those items were not done but I was told it would be done after closing however, I am still waiting for them to be done and I have no idea what I need to do to make sure it gets done. There’s lots of little things that are not done properly I would say, if that’s the correct word like paint splatter on my floors, paint splatter on my balcony door frame, multiple little things like that. For the price I paid and for it being a new condo, I would expect it to be nicely done. I do also wish the master room closet was bigger, I feel like the guest room closet is bigger. ... More

The overall “buying experience” was quick and easy, but the problems began as we neared our closing date. We purchased our home remotely, so we did not have the luxury of being on-site during the construction process. As the closing date neared, we soon realized the finish quality was extremely poor (after flying down for our walk-thru). It was clear the trim was installed before the tile floors, so it left 1/4” gaps in some places. The mitre cuts looked as if they were made by a “do-it-yourselfer”. And everything was resolved “the Lennar way” with tubes and tubes of white caulking. The outside pavers were poorly installed, and interior closets were framed wrong. After agreeing to postpone our closing, many of the issues were left unresolved. We eventually closed, but only because we were told it all met “Lennar’s Quality.” It has been about 6-weeks since we closed, and we’re now dealing with the warranty team. I give the highest regards to this team, as they are going out of their way to make things right. Kudos to Lennar’s commitment to satisfaction through their home-warranty care, but in the end many of these problems should have been resolved prior to closing. We are now wasting “our time” reporting issues, waiting for contractors to do inspections, and having to be home when all of this work is being done. In the end, we would definitely buy from Lennar again. Their overall value is good, and their commitment to making things right (via the warranty) have eased many of our concerns. I would encourage anyone buying remotely to stay on top of the building process, as we trusted our construction manger to handle this part for us. Never again! ... More
