It's a great home. I love everything about it. I have been disappointed with the amount of service requests I have had to put in - this is a new build, I would have thought these minor details would have been taken care of.

I believe some of the basic reviews were missed by review team. Even after identifying several issues during the walkthrough, some of them had not been fixed appropriate. Otherwise, entire sales process was fantastic.

Loan officer was unresponsive, unhelpful, and didn't seem to know his job very well. After sell, he wouldn't respond anymore. Post settlement, my loan was immediately sold off, even though I paid it off in 3 weeks, it's taken me over a month to get it finalized, and still working on closing it out. Calling the mortgage number will guarantee you a 30-45min wait time every time. Other issues: House shown had more features than house purchased, master shower didn't even have a door in purchased home. Lennar recommended me to the contractor they used to do the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. Cost me $620 (even though I paid over $3k in "upgrades"), and contractor told us it was even a surprise to them, since they had about 50 extra doors that they purchased to do our house and the rest in our area. My wife and me are entering our 2nd month of ownership and I can only give 3 stars for overall satisfaction. I feel the title I've given this post is correct. First, Lennar's advertising for their homes is very misleading. The Web Site claims you get everything you need at move-in You Do Not. Not to give anything away but I paid over $270 thousand for our home and It Did Not even come with towel racks in the bathrooms nor did it come with lighting over the vanities. You would think for that price these small amenities would be standard. They are not. This alone should give you ,the potential buyer, what you are in for with a Lennar home. This home is my 8th home I've purchased in my life, in every case the home I bought had a refrigerator and microwave, this Lennar home Did Not. Profit over Quality should be the Lennar motto. My experience has been overall positive and I’m happy with my home. I’ve had other builder experiences with past homes and Lennar has been above those. They strive to ensure you’re happy and I was impressed with my closing to an extent. They made some minor adjustments day of closing to my cabinet that was too low for my fridge. Several jobs were not completed in which I was promised completion after closing for which no one came back. For the most part, I’m satisfied with my purchase and going with Lennar as I’ve found the craftsmanship for my neighborhood was above others in the area. I purchased in Carnes Crossroads in Summerville, SC and the neighborhood stands out as one of the top locations for the area. My realtor did a great job helping me keep the contractor on schedule and ensuring most items were completed prior to closing. My recommendation would be not to fall to the peer pressure of closing with items left to do. They will drop you like a bad habit once you close so be ready for that. ... More

Overall is good except walkthrough too fast, person going through walkthrough is too fast and not allowed enough time for buyer to understand.

everything. was good up to the point of commencing. payment of my mortgage where my mortgage servicer is actually. a debt collection. agency wow. Just purchased the property had to be calling 5days in a row to make payment only to be introduced to a debt collector ?

A lot of back and forth with the clubs and attorneys. I don't think that there's a good job at all communicating.

Again, lots of money to come in to a home with a few flaws. Boss Man Contractor Jeff was awesome

We felt that the construction was rushed to finish the building and several things were left undone. We closed on May 12. It is now June 27 and we still do not have a dumpster. Brian and Chris were good at responding to our concerns and customer service Joe helped us out a lot as far as getting things fixed that should have been done in the first place. Again, the quality control that Lennar practices with the contractors is sorely lacking and needs to be improved to assure that Lennar will turn out a high quality product.

I love my villa but very disappointed in the quality of work. To get things fixed takes forever I would say make sure you check every thing in your place before you sign on the dotted line.

Overall the homebuying was ok. The final walkthrough was a bit unorganized as there were some things that were not quality work and expected much more from buying a new build. I’ve had several other issues that I’ve had to submit warranty claims. They are responsive but it seems to be challenging to get the work done. Buyers just beware that it is not an overly smooth process.

Employees of Lennar have been great to work with. Lennar's opportunity is to use some better quality when it comes to door and trimming out the home. Need more attention given to detail.

Well first off the price was kinda steep, didn’t even get pre- plumbing for a water softener, no garage door opener not even ceiling fans for the owners suite or the living room. Then they just put together a wooden step in the back yard for when you walk out to the backyard, very cheap.

We loved the process of buying our home and the smart home features. However some of the craftmanship and materials ie doors and cabinetry are poor or super basic The paint is already scratched off on some of the doors and the bottoms looked warped wood. We will go through the processs and hopefully the ticket system works.

Overall experience was good, the workmanship of the house isn’t the best. I understand you are only as good as your contractors and sub-contractors. But I really wish they had higher standards to building a home. From the concrete work, to other parts of the house it’s just put together cheaply. You spend your hard earned money and hoping that nothing breaks because barely anything is under actual warranty. Like I said overall experience is good but the quality of the home and workmanship is subpar at best.

The landscaping was not well done even after repeated requests. Also the drain leaked just 5 days after we moved in due to the negligence during construction.

Overall we are happy with the purchase of our Lennar Home. I’ve noticed there are minor things that are somewhat of an annoyance when it comes to the quality of work performed- not square walls, minor imperfections throughout the home. Watching the houses go up around us in the neighborhood it makes sense because it’s happening so quickly. However, all issues are very minor and we are truly happy with our purchase. No regrets here and would recommend Lennar to friends and family!

I was told that i am getting a smart home from the beginning till the completion of the deal. However in the end, i found out that my house was not a smart home and lacked many smart item. When I complained, few items were added but few still left out.

Was very unhappy with lack of communication from Lennar Mortgage. Would take days/week to get a response. Now that my loan has been sold to another management company. I have the mortgage reporting twice on my credit report.

I think the quality of workmanship should have been better supervised because we found many mistakes/imperfections that I feel should have been caught during the building phase. As a first time buyer, I was able to identify a lot of mistakes and I am left wondering what else was shortcut on or simply subpar which I have not yet identified. Also, now that the closing has taken place, it seems difficult to reach any of those involved in the process prior. As questions/concerns appear, i believe it would be extremely helpful if someone or a small designated team were available to address such concerns. ... More

In General we got very good relations starting with the first visit with Mr Kevin, through signing contract , inspection with Mr rick and Miss Brittany. All was fine throughout the closing. Your people did very good job. Thank you and congratulations

We were excited to move into our new home only to find several issues needing to be resolved. Although there has been response to issues there did not see to be a sense of urgency. It seemed to be more of a "we have more homes to build so we'll get to you". Recommend Lennar hire more help to oversee construction as it is happening and not subject homeowners to seek "after close" resolutions to issues that should have been corrected before closing. These are $500k plus properties and should be afforded better attention to detail.

We had a great consultant when we were serious about look that showed all the options and was very upfront about everything from the beginning and did a great job at keeping us posted as it was built. Overall price for a brand new house…. It’s great. You can tell that they are mass produced for some of the rushed jobs and less than average quality on some things, but that’s gonna happen with mass produced homes. With a good final walkthrough and private inspection, they will take care of the touch ups and things noted. There have been a few minor things since we moved in. Some of them have been handled quick and some we have no idea where they are at with coming to fix it. They don’t seal the granite and grout so be prepared to do some finishing on that. Appliances are decent, mid level appliances. Overall for what you get with the brand new house and the warranties, it’s a great deal and totally worth it. Would do it again. Just be prepared to thoroughly inspect, and be persistent if there is something not right or needs fixing. Need to advocate for self but Lennar has been pleasant to work with. ... More
