The carpentry and painting was very poor quality. We blue tapes places that was not taken care of.

The experience we had was too much to put in writing but would be open to discuss.

I have had a few issues that were immediately handled by your staff.

Good bargain and great incentives offset the high interest rates, thus equalize the low affordability issue.

On many occasions over the last several months there has been late night cars racing at high rates of speed through neighborhood. Groups of people building bonfires, leaving trash, firing guns, lighting fireworks and playing loud music in the vacant part of the development during the 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Lennar appears to now be taking measures to curb this criminal activity now. Time will tell if these peace disturbance, safety and nuisance problems are eliminated.

The Customer Care unit doesn't rate even a one star. Closed on July 7 and still waiting on warranty work to be completed two months later. Not one person will follow through on anything.

Had constant issues with Lennar Mortgage. They were not reliable in responding to messaging. When it came time to close, they were still dragging their feet on fixing issues that had been known for months. The construction team has been great in response to warranty issues but there’s no reason it should not have been done prior to closing. The amount of blue tape issues that were not corrected or were brushed under the rug are not great. We love our home, but I would not buy with Lennar again.

Seriously Lennar is the best when it comes to buying newly constructed homes, the process was so fast and the sales team was simply the best. There was alot of communication and education especially for a first time home buyer like me. I was in the market for so long but i think Lennar stood out amongst other builders. I will highly recommend Lennar.

The buying experience was very good. We got a fair price. Our sales rep from Lennar was excellent.

The sales team was awesome, very kind and there for everything that we needed. Lennar accomplished the closing date the committed to. After we gave the initial deposit we were concerned about the negative review we saw online, but our experience has been good overall. Quality of the house is ok (but it is not top luxury). There was 0 flexibility to any type of personalization, which basically gives Lennar full control to put whatever they want in the home. Some this were pending at the moment of closing and it has taken some time for them to be fixed, the priority is to continue to build new homes. Thing have been taken care of eventually after some weeks / months in some cases. Price vs quality overall is good (you get what you pay) comparing to other builders that offer personalization packages that would make it more luxurious but also pumps the price to even 100k+. ... I understand home buying can be stressful but this whole process has been beyond insane. No one knows what they are talking about. Good luck getting a call or email back if you reach out. Our closing date was moved and no one told us. Our electric was turned off because even though we asked for the certificate (which the office had the whole time) we were told we needed to wait. We came back from our honeymoon to a hot house and bugs everywhere due to the humidity. We were also told the sod would be put in later since we would be on our honeymoon and it was put in the day of closing so we had to scramble to buy hoses while out of the country to have our lawn watered. Lots of miscommunication or no communication. My husband and I are waiting on our paychecks from lennar seeing how we did more work getting this house to close than they did. We also are having issues with USPS and lennar on our mailing address as well as everyone else in the neighborhood. This is seriously the worst experience I’ve ever been through with a company. I was expecting a nightmare of a home buying experience from horror stories I've heard from other people buying homes, but Lennar was great and the process to purchase one of their brand new homes was very smooth! We got to do a walk through prior to closing to address any issues we saw and there were only a few minor things that were resolved before we moved in! The customer service agent was great and walked us through all of the features of the home and how to maintain everything, which was extra nice as you don't get that with a used home! Highly recommend if you are looking for a home in Kitsap County, WA that you don't skip over looking at the Lennar homes in Port Orchard! ... More

Buying a home is never easy, especially a newly built one, but with jack working tirelessly on my behalf it was very doable.

I had a horrible experience with purchasing my Lennar home utilizing Lennar Financial for the offered perks. I wish I would've just used my own funding as originally planned. I had zero communication from Lennar Financial - Leslie Ramirez and my out of pocket projecting closing costs were $5,000 under projected which was a huge inconvenience for me. The structure/home itself is great. I wish the home sales consultants and Lennar Financial had better customer service. For these huge reasons, I would not recommend Lennar.

It took long to get approved but we were happy that the house was kept for us.

I have the found process of the closing, knowing who to contact for the HOA, obtaining the trash cans, getting the keys, etc., to be very difficult I am still trying to find out how to pay for my HOA fees. In addition, I was very disappointed to learn that each resident has to water their own lawns. I paid nearly $2,000 toward the HOA initial fee and no sprinklers are provided. This mean hoses are out front all the time, and each person's law will look different, I would have been willing to have paid extra for a sprinkler system.

Home buying experience was OK, but Lennar Mortgage was pathetic. Being a first time buyer I expected a lot from Lennar.

House looks great. Quality lacks in many aspects from poor electrical wiring, poor workmanship for ejecutivas outlets, poor workmanship for nailing especially in garage, painting lacks quality, and so on. Then to get things fixed you wait for several weeks, if they get fixed at all. You also get offered things in the community that never happen. Just don’t believe what Lennar states.

Quick, helpful, clean, organized, spacious

I would like to compliment the Lennar team of workers that keep this ship moving in the right direction. No easy task. Had great interactions along the way with everyone, sales (Greg), project managers (Miguel & Kimberly) and Sam on the Customer service end. Very professional and helpful. Started off with a non responsive and overwhelmed project manager, which was switched to a new but too late in the project. A lot was missed in the finish work that should have been caught by inspections and managers. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. Here are SOME of the issues with the finish work; -Joint compound (spackle) drops everywhere. (Rugs, walls, doors, and moldings) -The spackle work in general was poor. especially around bathroom transom window, showers, ceiling seams. - Door casing, base moldings and quarter round is caulked heavily to hide big gaps. -Base molding shimmed from the wall to cover flooring shortage/gap! -Uneven walls/moldings. -Entry door off the garage is installed poorly. (Large gap created behind the casing filled with a ton of caulk) -Walls painted over unsanded spackle and large spackle drops. I am extremely disappointed that I will have to move into a brand new home and have professional contactors fix these issue properly. I have seen the quick fixes that Lennar contractors have done and I am left in disbelief by the lack of attention to detail. We knew upfront the home was overpriced, but found its size and views very appealing. However, many defects were detected during our “blue tape” walkthrough — way too many for a brand new home, which should have been a red flag to us that workmanship was a big issue. After moving into the home we quickly learned how “sub-standard” most of the appliances, fixtures, and workmanship were. The dishwasher, washer, and dryer were mediocre at best, and all had to be replaced due to being loud and annoying. All 3 toilets were replaced. Light fixtures are cheap and their placements are not logical. Most faucets are cheap, with some (kitchen faucet and laundry) being chrome over plastic. We have now spent an excessive amount of money just to bring the home’s quality and workmanship in-line with its initial advertised value. Bottomline: our biggest concern is workmanship and value for money. Our future NEW home purchases will not include Lennar. ... More

Our overall experience went very smoothly, when small issues occurred they were resolved quickly. Great value for the money Small issues with the home we’re reported and resolved the very next day

At the beginning of the purchase, everything went smoothly and fast. When closing came the house was inspected and a few things were defective. The workers had left broken tiles on the roof some were replaced but not all of them. The laundry room had a bad connecting outlet for the washer machine we had to replace. My refrigerator had no water nor ice coming out they promised it would immediately get fixed here We are two month later and no one has been able to fix it, Apparently the water hose was never connected to the water line under the kitchen sink. The front door knob and garage still have the temporary knobs used for construction. They claim they are still under order even after closing two months ago. I can’t access the bottom part we have no key access. We had to come in through the garage for the first couple of weeks until we figured out how to use the top part with code access. We spoke to the builder manager for help and customer care. Everything has been nothing but excuses no one seems to want to help. They still have me waiting… ... More

We like the new condo and are glad we purchased it. John was a great salesman as a quality control rep, but he promised some things that just did not happen. Overall Lennar people have been great when we were talking to them. There are several concerns we noted in the original walk through that were not completed and similar concerns on a follow up work order. We placed an emergency call because we were having power outages and while it turned out to be a Duke Energy problem. We were not satisfied with the emergency contacts that were supposed to provide emergency services. The Lennar emergency contacts were great but the contractors that were supposed to be available to help had no off hour emergency contacts and we as well as the Lennar reps had nowhere to turn.
