Safe not Beautiful

They take the whole experience of buying a New Home to a level of take it as is. At first i was so impressed until it came to work on the details, Attention to details is not on the list. Ive moved about a month and 1/2 and there is still unpainted spot outside the house with bent gutters covers. Just make sure you get everything corrected; otherwise prepared to hear a lot of “we don’t cover that … , that’s owner’s responsibility”. This is what you get when the work is unsupervised. Gave 4 * in overall since Finance, and sales people overall were awesome thru this period of buying.

I like where I live now, but the workmanship is horrible. It’s taken forever to the job done correctly. They rush you into closing with 9 pages of work that has to be done .

My experience was good, until the lack of construction keys control resulted in a Burglary of my new house. Caution, upon closing ensure your keys are recalibrated to cancel all others. Beautiful House - Lots of Problems

Purchasing a new home from Lennar was a very easy experience. My new home is beautiful. Once I moved into my new house, I found so many problems. I have had light fixtures falling out on the ceiling, the paint on the doors coming off, a cabinet door falling off, and many other problems. I do have to give Lennar credit for addressing these problems. If you have a problem, you report it to Lennar through a website. It is like filling out a ticket for your problem. Not the best at following up. There are a few outstanding issues. A representative has been out. Someone was supposed to return the following week for repairs n such. We haven't heard anything. We've been here 3 months. Overall, I absolutely love the area and our new home.

The process of buying our home was easy and we were well informed along the way. Once in the home there were a few items that need fixing or touch up. Our expectations can be that we want perfection immediately but reality is that there will always be imperfections, however new is really nice!

Our seles coordinator, Julie, was great, she made syre we were comfortable with the entire process. But after we moved in, we noticed that some of our neighbors who got the keys later than us were given better service and welcome "gifts". Whereas, we only receive a tote bag with the keys only. We also noticed they hired windows cleaning service when our neighbors get the keys, but our windows exterior were not cleaned when we move in.

The home looks good, but 2 weeks after the close of escrow the toilet of masters bedroom that has been clogged during construction erupted and poop was was all over our toilet, shower and bathroom. Though Lennar manager responded on time but we were displaced for 2 weeks. We were promised compensation, we left message for the person who was supposed to compensate us he ignored our call and Lennar never call us. It was such a disappointing experience.

Over it is ok experience to work with Lennar, the final walk through by construction manager and customer care rep, they are not that knowledgeable any question asked it is pretty much "i think so " and "i am not sure " answers.

Fridge Is Leaking Since Day 1

Great experience getting a home right away and approved. However, the Fridgeaire fridge started leaking at the bottom the week we moved in. We placed a couple tickets in to have it looked at & no response from Lennar about fixing the issue or replacing our brand new fridge. Lennar said it’s a known issue that the fridge’s ice machines leak.

House was not totally complete for closing. It has been two months and we are still trying to get uncomplete items taken care of. These are not warranty issues these are items that were not completed during construction.

Sales: Bobbi, the sales agent I worked with was excellent and knowledgable. Warranty: Heather and the virtual warranty team seem to be proactive with reported items, although several that were reported over the last two months don't have appointments scheduled and other trades scheduled their appoinments quickly. Some warranty repairs were not made properly, very disappointing. Lennar needs to hire another pool company to make the warranty repairs and charge back to Holiday Pools since they aren't interested in repairing my pool/spa issues.

Jeff Merk, Shayla Norton, Marc Friedlander are amazing and if I decide to get another home. I would pray and hope I work with them. But walking into my home I seen a lot things that were done that is not up to standards. Quality of workmanship could be way better for the price of the home. I feel like I shouldn’t have to do something of things that need to be done.

Experience was overall pretty good but communication was lacking at times when we told it was on track then suddenly we were closing two weeks early which would have been nice to know since that changed our first payment date. When it comes to warranty issues most are dealt with fairly quickly but we do have a few big issues that we are having trouble getting taken care of. I also wish they had an option to include landscaping for the back yard as an option especially since we have a strict HOA. Other than that these issues the homes are beautiful and definitely feel like we got a great price ...

Love the layout of my new home and all that comes included with it, however, the smart home/connectivity features have not been very smart and frustrating. Both the sales and customer support staff are great to work with...need better security of the outdoor electric panels to prevent theft of breakers.
