Get your own real estate agent, don’t just use the provided Lennar agent. Our agent was able to ask questions and provide information that we never would have thought of. Lennar is like any big business, they’re looking out for themselves. The Lennar agent didn’t even come to our closing. We l’ve had plumbing issues due to a pipe that was damaged prior to our purchase and 2 out of 3 of Lennar’s warranty people haven’t all been great to work with. It just depends on who you get. The houses are nice, as is our neighborhood, but you need to make sure your stay on top of things.

The response time for questions on the solar system was not responsive until 3 weeks after signing then they answered my phone call. Sunnova doesn't answer the question they give you an excuse and it isn't their fault. They point the finger at everyone else. It is going on 2 months since I signed and ownership was ours. We still don't know where in the process of getting our systems rook up and online line. There departments don't talk to each other. When you call you only talk to the new service department which isn't kept informed by the connections department as to what step in the process your paper is. ... More

My overall experience was not bad. I adore Michael C that did my walk throughs. I did not have the same experience with the sales rep on site. She was on the verge of rude more often than not. I also have not enjoyed the fact that there seems to have been miscommunication on what my town I actually live, I am a month in and still don't know what my address is : Fountain Inn or Simpsonville : even the utility companies have the address listed differently.....but I love my home,

The beginning of the process exceeded my expectations until I was under contract. It was very difficult to communicate with some of the key players on the team such as the processor, loan officer, salesperson, and property manager. I left messages and I would not receive a response, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The overall experience was good as compared to the cost - you get what you pay for. Lennar needs to pay attention to detail and not expect the homeowner to bring issue forward. The lot we wanted wasn't released but after we chose another lot, the original became available. Closing date was moved up by 6 wks from original estimate, had to jump through hoops. If we moved in after closing date, the final details were left for the homeowner to issue work orders: trim missing, hot water tank malfunctioned, outside light broken, floors not properly cleaned from grit, paint spots on tile & grout, door stops missing, light switches for light cans not properly wired. Still have water drainage issues lawn took forever

I think buying new house isn't bad idea especially when you have to be the first to touch almost everything.

Customer service after closing and buying has been helpful. However I’d wish the closing to have been much smoother than it was.

The contractors are not working with quality in the constructions cheap ,materials, but it's ok

building and construction is good but their mortgage lender side could use a lot of improvement.

To many people asking for the same information

Lennar has a good reputation so we trusted them. The overall experience for us is alright. Agent was good but as soon as we signed the contract, her responses become less and less and far in between. We noticed as we moved in how Lennar has cut on a lot of things that we expect from a new home built. On the second bathroom upstairs, it is missing a towel rod by the sink, the windows are all fake window in the bathrooms. You cannot open any of them, so you cannot even air your bathrooms. Responsiveness to issues post settlement has been great, however, we were not as pleased with the sales experience.

Jay is not the best at checking in or communicating with his clients. Numerous promises made at final walk through without any follow through. Chris has been awesome. He is timely, responsive and follows through immediately with any and every need- going above and beyond.

Purchase experience was great. Our home address on google map is erroneous. All navigation apps take me to a different location. Despite repeated requests for corrections it is still not resolved.

Attention to details as discussed in person. Several items we discussed were left incomplete from the original report. I did advise that my home back in GA was closing and I needed things listed completed. Less than month into my new home and we have a leak in the guest bathroom that I found while storing some things away. When I walked through final inspection, home was still being worked on. Told it would be cleaned and ready to go, but it was not. Nonetheless, I had to move and get ready to go back to work asap. At this point I’ll do my best to cleanup and repair / replace items left off. Carlo Torres was a great to work with. Answered all my questions and kept me on other available property’s within the community. Jury still out due to many problems arrived after move-in.

No refrigerator, no towel racks, cheap vinyl flooring, poor drywall finishing, garage drywall not finished and not painted . Floors are uneven, no ceiling fans, basic cheap carpet, 2x4 roof trusses on 24” centers, no attic ladder. Speck home all the way.

Do not appreciate HOA slow response and government like attitude. Had I known about the level of control, I would not have purchased a home from Lennar.

Size and spaciousness are unrivaled. Quality of everything in the home is the cheapest it can possibly be. Buyer beware, there is NO STORAGE built into the home beyond bedroom closets and an average size coat closet. There is not one linen closet anywhere in the home. So, there is nowhere to put extra towels, bedding, etc. Home is not data ready. Homes are not wired correctly for data and using substandard data cable, nor are the cables to a centralized location in the home.

You get what you pay for with Lennar. The style of my house is nice and suits my taste, but the quality of the build and the customer service leave room for improvement. Overall, it's okay, but I expected better attention to detail and support.

Good communication and trustworthy and nice

The home buying experience was very exhausting. Lennar was very helpful with the process, helping us get credit ready to purchase our home(which no one else were offering to help). The credit counseling helped us tremendously. As long as you follow what they tell you, you'll be able to obtain the home you want. The only negative thing I'd have to admit that made the process grueling is the extensive paperwork requirements.. The credit history checks where your creditors both passed and present have to be questioned on the way they were paid by you.. Also, feeling like we were never going to be able to complete all of the requirements to close the deal was rough. I think the verbiage that was used during the process was like we weren't fully approved to move forward to closing on our home. Even the day of closing, we were still not fully approved. That did take away from the home buying experience because we were on pins and needles waiting for the final approval. Our loan processors were helpful in calming us down during those moments of stress. We didn't feel the joy of being homeowners right away because the process was so frustrating. But at the end of the day, we became homeowners and we were glad the process was over. Iam thankful for the Lennar team that was there the whole time, whatever the situation was to help us through it. That was the highlight of the experience, our credit counselor and loan processors that were always there to help with everything. I couldn't have asked for a better team of people. ... More

So far am happy with & enjoy my home. The neighborhood is nice & beautiful. I Haven’t lived here long. I bought a townhome. I can hear my neighbors & next door through the walls more than I was told I would be able to from Lennars representatives. There’s a couple things I need to turn in for repair so will soon find out how responsive Lennar is with that. I think Lennar’s process for getting a mortgage could use improvement. Lots of errors & when they were pointed out, I was told they’d be fixed later, but they weren’t & I had to keep reminding or they wouldn’t have been done. Things weren’t explained well regarding the loan. I’m thankful for the very kind lady at the title company who recognized my frustration & explained things to me.Things also weren’t always done as was said by the finance/mortgage guy. It created a lot of stress. When they would want something, there was a lot of hurry up & wait. Once the underwriters had the loan they started asking for much of the same stuff I’d already provided & had a few odd questions I’ve not had anyone ask in this type of process before. Lennar sold my loan within a couple weeks of getting it. The new company has not been responsive with giving their contact info. Several days after the 1st payment was due, they finally sent an email out. I don’t like to send checks in the mail anymore due to theft, but had no choice this time to attempt to make my mortgage payment on time. I’m keeping my fingers crossed the new mortgage place receives it. I’m a very busy person & responsible how I handle my business. That is how I’m comfortable & get everything taken care of. Buying a house through Lennar was a good experience. The process was fast and easy. I would totally recommend this company
