Poor home buying experience

Our “realtor” never responded to our inquiries timely and pushed us to use Lennar lending after we communicated at least 10 times were going with Navy Fed. We gave the lender and chance and he was extremely disrespectful to my wife after she said she was not going with Lennar. Build quality is good and the building manager was good at fixing the issues we provided. Everyone seemed money hungry and if any decision we made would make someone lose money they would get obviously irritable. Would not recommend Lennar after that experience.

Before closing, get all help you need and ask questions about everything you want to know because if you call for help , they will tell you they can’t help you after closing. Having issue with my ring and Schlage no one available to help. Having issue with air conditioner

Not built to the quality that they showcase in the model homes. The contractors that build for Lennar have no sense of ownership to maintain a quality product. So much money is wasted by senseless mistakes and timing of the building process.

The only good thing that I can honestly say about my whole experience with Lennar is my loan officer (Joni). The price of my along with some of the other homes in this neighborhood is ridiculously high. Everyone that assisted in my documents did them wrong or the delayed the process by not processing my paperwork in a timely manner. Especially the back office. This is the third home that I have purchased and it was the worst experience to include the sell of the loan to the new lender. We had a great experience from the very beginning of this process, to the end now where we have any warranty issues. Lavida was very professional and quick to help us find something, Trisha, Mel, and Toni were so kind and responsive when it came to our mortgage. On the back end, Jordan and Lorena have been truly outstanding with getting our warranty issues fixed.

There were some home reps that were just used car salesman, but for one… Taylor was great to work for. She was honest about the whole process would recommend working with her on any issues. Works when she is off.

Seller told us that all houses came with a garage door opener. Nope. HVAC system was leaking the first two months, during weeks of 100+ degree heat. Buying process was a nightmare.

I had a great buying experience with Maria and Eirik, my only real complaint was the landscape company did a really poor job with the quality of sod and trees. Then they replace some of it and I am left dealing with the rest of the weeds not sod on my own

I had terrible experience, one of the sales representative was very rude and never speak politely with customers. Multiple home owners mentioned this, not sure if Lennar really want their team to rude with their customers. I am well aware of home buying process and a home owner and helped some of my friends as well with the process. There were multiple issues identified in the walkthrough and they have not written down any of those and forced me to close the house without resolving any of the issues. We went with Lennar thinking everything would be smooth and it turned out a little complicated from the beginning. Had to transfer our contract 3 different times and when we found the home we wanted we ran into some issues with some windows, AC unit, cabinets, concrete. When we ask for these things to get fixed it takes forever for a response.

The field person are great: sales representative, customer service rep., construction manager, title company service. The quality of the house is just average. I was promised so much more than I ended up getting. It took a year past the date I signed to get my place. It is called a luxury community, but it is far from that the grass is dead. The process of buying the Home was well documented and good. Workmanship: Overall, it is good, with some issues here and there; nonetheless, the response to issues has been good. The Sun Panels are not placed in the ideal location to maximize energy harvesting on my property. Neighboring property shadow fails over panel starting from 6 PM. If you're looking for a low-quality/maybe middle-of-the-pack type starter home, this is a good start. If you're looking for high-quality finishes and not find any issues like what I found with scratches, dirt on finished drywalls, debris throughout the property, stained driveway, messy finishes like clean caulked edges, etc. to have to contact the crew to finish/fix things, then you are better off looking elsewhere. I was really excited to buy my first ever home but after the experience I’ve had with LENNAR I would have chosen differently. The experience I had with the mortgage team started off very rough and I experienced very poor communication and errors with the loan officer. Being in the construction field of work, I’ve heard plenty of things about Lennar and a majority of big name builders. As well as knowing other Lennar home owners. Needless to say, my expectations were not too high. I went into this whole process with caution and with plenty of questions and concerns. Lennar has been great throughout the homebuying experience. As a builder, the structure and materials used in building the home were great. There are some cosmetic things that you will probably want to change but they have don't a great design with design features, options, and color scheme. The Project Manager and Customer Support team have always been responsive and helpful. The staff takes pride in what they do. Overall, great experience.

Very stressful experience with the loan process and asked to supply documents over and over making for a long process. Photos showed cabinets in laundry room but they don’t put them in. Poor communication with Lennar on everything.
