We are previous Lennar home buyers, and that is the reason we came back to Lennar. We were disappointed with the quality of this Lennar home. There were quite a few areas of poor workmanship and this was disappointing. We have had a difficult time getting a warranty items completed, I feel that the price of the home was high for the quality and the interior features and the quality of the workmanship.

Overall it was an easy and pretty painless purchasing process from start to finish. From the first time my wife and I met our consultant Kurtis he was very on attentive and responsive. We decided to move ahead with purchasing a home from Lennar during our initial visit to the model home and let Kurtis know. Within 24 hours Kurtis had sent me the necessary documents to begin the process and instructions of where to wire the deposit. The escrow process went smooth and we closed a couple days later than anticipated due to a delay on flooring, which was our fault. During our first walk through there were quite a few minor blemishes throughout the house(paint overspray, wall scrapes & knicks, moldings scrapes, etc) along with the windows being dirty with mud that had splattered on them from the exterior which we documented with their representative. He assured us that the items documented would be fixed for our final walk through. When we came back on the final walk through all the items had been fixed with the exception of the exterior windows still being mud splattered which was not the end of the world but it would have still been nice if it had been taken care of. Once we moved in it came to our attention that our upstairs heater was not working and we contacted the HVAC company that was contracted by Lennar and they informed us that the unit had been wired incorrectly which the corrected. Other than that, the only thing I have found wrong with the house so far is an ethernet port that was wired incorrectly which I fixed myself in about 5 minutes. It would've been nice to know Verandah is located in a MUD ZONE. VERANDAH is an exurb of Greenville Texas and a exurb of Royce City Texas. That's very unique! I now empathize with citizens of Puerto Rico and DC. Located in an the nation, but unable to vote for my interest of my immediate area except the ISD. Greenville, the county seat, is approximately 20 miles away. The location is good for me, and my neighbors I've met, are friendly and excited about their new home purchase. There are not many lights on the street I live and it's pretty dark at night. This should've been looked at a little closer. There were some problems identified but the response to having them corrected has been reasonable. There should be vehicle speed signs posted. The major offenders appear to be construction workers and support personnel. Residents aren't immune from exceeding normal speed restrictions in the complex. It's a disappointment, to me, rain gutters we're not factored into the price of the home. I would have welcomed that, now that's an additional out of pocket expense for me and I hope not to run afoul of the HOA. Throughout the process I was able to communicate with everyone I needed and the responses were timely.

Great experience, love the house but the people were the star of the experience. Everyone we dealt with was courteous, friendly and extremely responsive. Top notch and we highly recommend.

The staff were customer friendly, professional, and patient and answered my questions; I have no complaints, I like the floor plan, and the community is ideal for my daughter and grandchildren. I feel safe and secure, which is a plus for the community.

Travis, Shane and Emmanuel were extremely helpful.

Agent was not very good about getting back to my realtor on the purchase of the home. Had to contact her more than once. Even had to go to a supervisor to get updates. Issues with electrical after I moved in. But can say very prompt on coming to fix.

No happy with the way I was treated, I’m still waiting for the grass to be place and no one gives me an idea when it’s going to be installed

Trades just slap it up and hope they get away with poor work. The margin for this publicly traded company must be very good.

As a woman buying a house, I felt the salesmen were more comfortable communicating to the man. Have we not evolved. Women have jobs. They make $$$$. Lennar could work on this area. Be bold. Lead the way to treating all people as humans with $$$$$.

I am a first time homebuyer and would have liked more support from Lennar through the process. There were a few websites for different things and not much guidance as to where we needed to go for each thing. It was just search Lennar and figure it out. I would assume a lot of their customers are first time home buyers too so they should cater to their audience more. The house itself is definitely thrown together with no care from the workers side if anything was neat, level, etc. I have been able to upgrade things after moving in to make it more livable.

Items in the home were removed without my knowledge, and when I questioned it after purchasing, I was told that they were removed. No one follows up after money is transferred .

This is our second home, which was built by Lennar. We continue to have problems that have been outsourced for replacement or repair. The reports and updates we are getting reflect on Lennar as uncaring if we do not sign off on service tickets. Twice now a ticket has been closed without a completed repair. Where is the care in that?

good material but very slopy workmanship. Have to schedule. Repair every week floor tiles were installed by a blind worker need I say more.

The property is great. They got most of the issues before we moved in. Only small things popped up.

Buyer beware of what you are getting into with Lennar at Lorraine Lakes. Poor communication from Bobbi the sales agent, a terrible experience with Fernando the "construction manager" and deception from both individuals when it came to the closing issues on our new $700k+ home. It is our dream home in our dream neighborhood. But we never dreamed we would have such a poor experience buying a home this expensive. 6 weeks after closing, we are still awaiting resolution on issues that were identified at our walkthru and were supposed to have been fixed within 24 hours of closing. Our home is sloppily constructed. Evidence of poor workmanship is present in every room. The master shower floor is being scheduled for a complete removal and replacement after having been re-grouted 2x already post closing. Kitchen cabinets being ordered for replacement. Our cooktop is not permanently mounted and slides freely in its opening, scratching the quartz (and warranty refuses to address it). Our carpet in our closet was not completed for 3 weeks after closing. Broken tiles, whole sections not caulked. Just a nightmare of problems. Fernando built a poor version of a beautiful house, was arrogant and difficult to communicate with and chose to throw a hissy fit and stomp out of our only walkthru when we made our concerns known. The warranty team has been struggling to keep up with all our tickets. We have so many outstanding issues I have a hard time keeping them all straight. At least Heather in the warranty dept seems to care and answers the phone and emails about half the time. Once they have your money and you close, you lose all leverage. Beware. ... More

Paying 200k plus for a home, you'd think there would be more attention to detail from the builders. A lot of things I've found could have been addressed prior to me even seeing the location. Beautiful home, but a lot of finishing touches were lacking.

Poor quality workmanship throughout our entire house and poor communication and followup. We moved in almost 2 months ago and some issues still have not been fixed/worked on. Will never recommend a Lennar home to anyone.

I enjoyed working with Ralph on the mortgage loan side. He was very kind and helpful. I liked working with Kerri from the office side. I love that the ceilings are high both on the bottom floor and the top floor.

We are very happy with our home now, but the builders were very sloppy, and we had a lot of cleanup to take care of when we moved in to our place. The grounds in our subdivision are still cluttered with all kinds of construction trash. It is a shame that the company does not take more pride in what is left behind.
