The buyer process was so many people involved, had to do too much coordination on my own. Too many different portals to do things in. Poor construction and was told “you can only call in 1-year warranty items all at once, only one time”. Never have heard that in any of my previous home buying experience. So, essentially, there is actually no warranty, if that’s the case. Can’t get a hold of the sales manager, she won’t return my calls conveniently AFTER I closed on the home. Hmmm…. Plus, on the warranty paperwork they ask you to sign after some work is done, there’s NO PLACE for notes - why would that be?? I’m not signing something that releases you of the fact that the tree you hit during the plumbing dig up could still die, and that would be on the builder to replace. It feels very…. “icky” and that Lennar is not interested in doing very honest business. I am in the industry as well, working for a direct competitor. I have shared with almost every executive in my organization how awful this process has been. Also, friends and family. My wife and I found it very easy to work with Lennar. The employees at Lennar were knowledge, very helpful, and were quick to response to questions or any issues. We would highly recommend Lennar to any friends, family or anyone looking for a new home.

I bought my first house with lennar and it has been a nightmare. I had to reschedule my original 1st walk-through and the seller from lennar conveniently did not send the new walthrough date to my realtor. Due to this I had to do my walk-through alone, and not knowing what to look out for. The demonstration person from lennar told me we could sign off on everything and I didn't have to do the second walk. Not knowing that this is not supposed to even be an option I signed off and was not let back into the house until after closing. The roughly two weeks between my walk through and closing a skunk somehow got into my house and went into the negative space between two cabinets in the kitchen and died. My house smelled awful. After being told from the seller and construction manager that it was 100% not skunk and they would send someone out I found out it was skunk and it was dead. Since then I have been fighting to get rid of the leftover smell of skunk that lingers in my house. I have had multiple people come to clean and I have been cleaning and washing the walls and floors with vinegar and nothing is working. I have been extremely patient and after asking to have certain materials where the skunk was replaced the customer service team is refusing and pushing back on thus request. They tell me it's okay to use a range that had a dead skunk in it! I haven't even moved into the house because it smells and I don't want the smell to permeate my belongings. Not only that, while dealing with the smell issue I have had a plethora of other issues with the house and customer service team. The construction team had the primary drain pipe and secondary drain pipe of the hvac system switched so I had to have someone come and fix this. Once it started to get hotter and the AC was working harder a leak was discovered. My guest bathroom was flooded. They had to come and tear apart my bathroom due to all the water damage and get the leak fixed. There was mold inside the walls they just left open to possibly spread until they removed all the damaged materials. I also did not appreciate the customer service worker implying that the leak was my fault and I could have voided the warranty. My backdoor had the wrong doorknob on it so my key didn't work for the door and the deadbolt. It took over a month for them to fix the doorknob and it didn't happen until I sent an angry email asking why it was taking so long. Then when they come to fix the issue they never ordered the deadbolt so now I have to wait on that. The floors are covered in paint and the customer service team will tell you that "that's the best they can do" to remove the paint. But it's not. They can do better. If I can spend hours on the floor cleaning up their messes so can they. There are many other smaller issues with construction like stripped screws sticking out of cabinets and the trim around the tub falling off. I'm waiting on submitting these tickets because I don't want to distract the people working on my leak issue and smell issue to get distracted or take even longer to complete these requests. I bought this house on May 5th almost 2 months ago and I'm having this many issues. If you buy a house from lennar have someone to represent you. Things went smoothly…but too much email contact. Could not determine what might be important and what was additional marketing.

Buying the home was easy and quick. Some issues but they are being taken care of.

Had an amazing experience with on-site agent Jennifer at Lakeview Meadows community in Fayetteville,GA. She was extremely sweet, knowledgeable and professional and made my home buying experience memorable. The quality of the home with the exterior/interior features is what really captivated me to chose Lennar over other competitors and the price was very reasonable. Perfect size community and the neighbors and neighborhood is beautiful! I’m so blessed and happy with this home buying experience.

They cakled me ahead of my appointment and it was great for me as it freed up the rest of my day

Selling office very friendly and helpful. Home build very nice.after purchasing customer support was excellent.

Staff was 30 minutes late to walk through. Rude to me during walk through. Did THREE walk throughs for paint issues and they still never fixed many of the horrible looking spots on walls and baseboards. My $601,000 home looks like an absolute joke! Not to mention, I did not have a working oven for the first month of living here. Also, they were not prepared with paperwork and therefor made me wait at the attorneys office on my closing day for several hours. I would not recommend Lennar to my worst enemy.

We built the house based on the model design, quality and craftsmanship. Issues occur with every construction project. Lennar's quality inside and out were very disappointing and issues are not being resolved.

Well first off the price was kinda steep, didn’t even get pre- plumbing for a water softener, no garage door opener not even ceiling fans for the owners suite or the living room. Then they just put together a wooden step in the back yard for when you walk out to the backyard, very cheap.

The process takes time but you are guided throughout till closing

We loved the process of buying our home and the smart home features. However some of the craftmanship and materials ie doors and cabinetry are poor or super basic The paint is already scratched off on some of the doors and the bottoms looked warped wood. We will go through the processs and hopefully the ticket system works.

The process was very easy , however once we got to the fish line I was told things would be completed before moving and that were not. And once closed I was on my own with fixing these issues

We met with Brad, a very good sale rep, and he explained what Lennar offered. We picked a house that was under construction and we watched it bring built. We moved in and, as with every stick build house, there were minor issues that were quickly addressed. We’re happy with the house, pool and the neighborhood

Great experience with Lennar! I would do it all over agin!

GE cooktop is one worst appliance, despite of poor reviews , lennar went ahead and installed it, the knobs are made of plastic and it's hazardous. Paint work is poor, weird sounds from ovens and AC filters(ghost sounds).

It’s been a roller coaster ride since the day since we signed the contract. Just to highlight our issues: - construction/closing delayed multiple times from December 2022 to April 2023 eventually. - the workmanship is below par at best. - the walls are not straight. If you point it out, the standard response is that it is within spec. - window sills are misaligned. I had to follow up almost daily and eventually fixed it on the morning of closing. - The paint used and the job is shoddy. Wipe with a damp cloth and the paint comes off! Even the lightest touch will scuff the walls and remove the paint. - the contract had one color for the cabinets but we got the house with a different color altogether. Thankfully we liked the new one. So worked out for us. - the floors are squeaky! - the one positive thing is the warranty and service team (although they reject a lot of items as being “within spec”, they fix the other stuff pretty quickly. So to sum it up, make sure to walk each and every room of the house and inspect it from top to bottom. After you close, neither the sales team nor the construction team will bother to respond with a helpful answer. ... More

I bought a beautiful townhome on the water in south Tampa. Lennar promised a luxury experience, and the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. That was two years ago. Delay after delay after delay, finally we started the closing process. The build quality was terrible, and they were doing their best to minimize our concerns and rush the closing. They would just decide when our closing was, with no regard to our schedules. My “homebuyer consultant” Sonia was increasingly difficult to contact as closing approached. She lied about multiple things, and ultimately disappeared. Pretty certain their agenda was to get us to request our deposit back and move on. Nonetheless we pushed through and closed, only to find countless quality issues that one should never expect to find in a home of this price. The building manager Dan has been evasive and aloof, and even when he gets things done they are done poorly and incorrectly. So now I’m going through the warranty process to address all these issues, and it is a constant fight to get anything done. Long story short, Lennar has been a nightmare. The townhome is nowhere near the level of quality and luxury we expected for the price, and I’m one second away from filing a lawsuit. Overall, not what I expected. Sadly, Lennar was once a decent home builder, not any longer. Lennar are now all about the bottom line and keeping shareholders happy - a production builder! I owned a Lennar home in Wellington, Florida and Colorado. Both were decent homes. This home has been pulled apart within the first month of closing. The drywall removed to correct simple issues. Ones that the superintendent should have addressed during construction. I love the layout of the home but the level of workmanship leaves much to be desired. After one month of living in the home and trying to unpack, whilst dealing with drywall dust, I gave up for a few days. Drywaller’s, trim carpenter, painter all coming and going. Still a long list of ‘warranty’ issues EXCEPT these are not warranty issues. These are problems from before closing. I found a 4 page QA sheet that specified due to be rectified by 19 April! Did not happen. So now, I have to deal with a long list of items that the superintendent did not address before closing. The yard is being torn out today! The sod was installed and not watered sufficiently and I was told to give it time! When you have a couple of watermelon plants in your yard and one has a watermelon growing, you know there is an issue! The sod was installed on 17 April and looked good. Downhill from there. The sod company are professional but like homeowners have to deal with, they have to stay within the Lennar ‘boundaries’! The closing was planned for 26 April, then pushed back and then brought forward again. I lived in Colorado and had all of my belongings on a moving truck in storage. I had to keep changing the date with the company. I moved to Florida and closed on 5 May (whilst I had paid for 4 hotel stays beforehand) and then had to rent an Airbnb for 10 days as Lennar had messed me around so much. The truck was scheduled to arrive 20th May and I ended up moving into home on 15th May and sleeping on a mattress with camping chairs. I asked if Lennar could, at least, comp me for a couple hotel nights - crickets! Push, push, push to close and at one point I was ready to walk away from the $59k deposit! I was beyond frustrated. What should have been a new start in my life, has turned out to be a nightmare situation. Lennar do not work uniformly with all of the trades and the homeowner suffers. Customer service should be pivotal in this experience and sadly it is not! A homeowner should not feel like they are ‘one’ against ‘all’, yet that is my experience. I have been GC on two home remodels - one was a 7,700 sq ft home that took 11 months. I know true workmanship. I am experienced and know what is acceptable and what is not. What happened to you Lennar? What did you decide that quantity overcame quality? I would not buy a Lennar home again and wish I had bought an existing home and not a new build. ... More

John our sales man was great to work with. The home and yard has had a lot of issues that should have not been over look during construction. The home is cheap in materials used.

Lots of things at home aren’t working Soap dispenser in kitchen None of the ring devices are working except for door bell (the device says already in use) Landscaping was done worstly Lots of water down pools on the concrete And the road behind our house One the window board was broken And lots of things other things I cannot get in this notes I had worst sales experience, there lots lies and cannot keep the promises. This is my second Lennar home and I am definitely there won’t be third Lennar. I am sure I am not recommending to any of my friends.

The homebuyer experience was great, smooth process. Everything up through closing went smoothly. After closing, we had a couple small issues and logged a maintenance request. Those were quickly handled and resolved. My only complaints: 1. The white contractor paint sucks! I would recommend painting your home asap because you see everything on the walls, even just touching them. 2. I was told that I would get white trim paint and have reached out a few times because I have not gotten it. I still have not received it.
