Once they hook you into buying you are no longer important. Our concerns are placed on the back burner. Been waiting 6 wks. for weeds to be cut and grass to be planted. House looks like a jungle outside. Even had a snake show up. Sprinkler has been on and never shut off .6 wks. and still receiving guests to a rocky and weedy front yard.

Overall good experience, only area not happy with is responsiveness to warranty issues. Think the closing could have been more personalized as well.

I just want to thank Lennar for the greatest home buying experience ever. Thank you Lennar for the professionalism shown to me in the buying process. Thank you for the opportunity to do my entire closing process from the comfort of my home. Thank you Lennar for your speedy response whenever I call. This has been the best experience ever.

Trim, doors, paint are all subpar quality… very surprising for the amount one pays for these homes. Structure well built.

Low rating due to poor experience with Lennar Mortgage.

Lennar was very attentive and friendly UNTIL we closed . Since then nothing . Promises made and thus far not kept . This is a beautiful development and nice homes . It is a shame we can not get any one from Lennar to respond . There are finish details to fix , still no mailbox key . We are very disappointed .

There were many construction issues with the house whenever I did my final walk-through on 2/17, when the house was set to close on 2/22. As this community does not “blue tape“, I was asked to email all of the issues to the construction manager so that repairs can be made prior to closing. They set another walk-through for 2/21, at 4:30 PM. When I got there, most of the issues were fixed, but there were still plenty others that had not been addressed. Regrading of the lawn was to also be done, and that did not happen. Quality manager became frustrated with my pointing of persistent issues, to the point where he stated “well if you don’t like it, you don’t have to buy the house.“ Now, a month of being here and I’m still putting some of these same issues through the warranty process. Lennar is now refusing to regrade the lawn unless it’s holding water for over 48hrs. As closing was set on 2/22 at 8 AM, there was no way that I could have another walk-through before signing, and that should not happen to a home buyer. Furthermore, the mortgage team sent an email on 2/15 stating closing would be on 2/22, and to have either a cashiers check or wire payment set up. Given this option, I opted for a cashiers check. I did not hear anything back from the mortgage team regarding details to closing, such as the time and place of where this would be done. Finally, my realtor reached out to the team. On 2/21 at 9:59 AM, I received an email from the mortgage team stating closing would be done remotely, and to have a wire transfer set up the day prior so that there is no delay in receiving the money; cashier’s check would not work with remote closing. I work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, so without proper notice I was unable to set up a wire early enough. I had to leave work early so that I can make it to the bank before they close at 5 PM, and set up the wire transfer. I planned to leave work 4 PM already because of the 2nd walk through, but instead had to stop at the bank first, so this in turn made me late to my second walk-through that was set for 4:30 p.m. (which added to the quality managers frustration and led to his unprofessionalism). While there’s a plethora of minor issues I could continue with, the point has been made. Location is fabulous and Project Manager Cliff and Tina were wonderful

Quality of material and workmanship are good. However, final checks require improvement. Few examples: Entrance door was missing screws. Garage floor has paint and lots of dust. For every ticket (for issues), I submit, I am required to submit virtual session, enable video to capture the details. While the owner is in the process of move (packing, moving, un-packing, setup utilities..etc), it is extremely difficult to cater time for a virtual sessions + schedule repairs..etc. Instead of virtual sessions, I suggest enhancing your issue submission application to allow capturing the picture or video or both and submit. If you have enough information, this will eliminate virtual sessions. Also allow owners to update the ticket if the status changes - I mean if the issue got resolved or they managed to fix it or managed to get some help to fix it..etc Also use the issues information (wealth of knowledge) to take proactive action - I mean alert owners to check few things (check list within the 1 or 2 months of move-in) and report if there are any issues, before they report. Wouldn’t recommend LENNAR to anyone still trying to get get doors flipped right side up no handles on doors took two months to get lights in rooms

Workmanship of all grouting was terrible. All shipping plastic on the shower basin was not removed and was caulked over the top and peeling off. Overspray of white paint on black cabinets. Many door trim finish boards were cut over an inch short and just caulked at the floor. Garage door floor area had to be floated because there were 1/2 gaps on both far left and far right sides of the door when the door was closed. Alot of mortar was spilled on the garage floor and front porch which all needed to be chipped off. Paint and stains on the carpet. We had the carpets steamed cleaned before we moved in. A number of items that were to be fixed between the initial walk through and closing were not completed. During the final walk through several workers were still in the house working on the issues. We closed 2/28/23 and as of 4/11/23 our yards sod is not complete. Many issues were not addressed in the timely manner that the CM stated they would be. The initial process was a little bumpy, but we got through it. However, during the second walk through I thought I was racing in the Indianapolis 500. That was the quickest walk through I ever did. Afterwards we learned some things were missing and some things weren't done right and as far as things not done right outside the home, make sure they get done before signing and closing on your home. Otherwise, you are responsible for anything that's not right on the outside of the home. Such as, cracks in the garage floor or chucks of driveway concrete missing, just to name a few. Also, doing the first walk through the Lennar guide did not want to open the attic space. Not quite sure what that was about. If asked if you want to get your own inspector before closing, I suggest you do so. However, this is our second Lennar home and though the house was not perfect it still seems to be a good house. Just not as good as the first home we bought with Lennar back in 2006. ... More

I purchased my home in Florida while living in NJ. The process was seamless. Lennar’s sales agent was attentive and answered all my questions. I used their lender and the approval process was quick and easy. This is my second home and it was so much simpler than my first home. I would definitely recommend buying a home with Lennar!!

The did everything that we need

Buying a lennar home is not for the weak, loan officer's are terrible, unknowledgable, Unorganized and truly do not have the customers interest in mind. That goes all the way to management, my l9an officer kept putting blame on others and not fixing anything such as my disclosures being incorrect multiple times and him saying that it didn't matter only the final one matters. Then a manager took over my loan, and he was rude and disrespectful, stuff sent incorrect disclosures, and then chose to tell me I was "high maintenance" because I had to reach out to him everytime something was sent to me instead of him doing his job. Then closing day came, we had communicated many times that my closing was virtual, then the day off he told me an hour before that my closing was now in person, the office is more than an hour away. Had no respect for me or my time. Once I arrived to the office to close he was informed I was there. Chose not to even come and introduce himself until his higher up told him too. To sum it up, buying a lennar home is a nightmare and not for the weak. The only person I am grateful for is Mark, he was my sales consultant, he was there every step of the way and was truly incredible. If it wasn't for Mark I would have quit the process and not bough this home. ... More

We moved in just under 2-month, and have already found multiple issues related to the quality of workmanship.

1, Pushed to closing of the deal without completing the job with satisfaction 2. After closing, Buyers are pushed around for no reason. 3. Managers and main contractors very courteous and professional but workmanship fair. 4. Appliances are all Apartment grade.

Overall, the quality of Lennar is basic. We’ve found a lot of half-completed items ranging from: no anchors on bathroom hardware so items falling off the wall, corners cut in flooring/walls, tiles uneven, front yard sinking, etc. The view and location is why we purchased this home. Honestly, Debbie & John (warranty/construction) team are why this experience was great. Debbie is the best & Lennar is blessed to have her. There are many items we have to upgrade since Lennar builds basic builder grade homes. If you’re ok with a decent price point & updating items on your own, this is a good place to build. Lennar representatives are very well trained to make up answers on the go - this is everyone else’s, customer service, construction manager, etc. As we get close to closing their objective is to just get your signature to close and not really fix things that were found during inspection. A lot of the work seems to be done in a hurry and does not meet the exaggeration of Lennar representatives. Overall, they are not trustworthy!

Three months after closing, we have more open issues on our closing list, than Lennar has addressed. Most of the issue were opened a month prior to closing. Should never close until the open issues list is full addressed

I have issues with some of the products - flooring gets dents/scratches easily. Walls are crooked. I like my home and the area that I bought in. I am glad my daughter & realtor found the place. Just wish the workers would take a little more pride in their work.

Very poor customer service and difficult to get warranty work done. Lennar lacks ownership of responsibility and transparency. I would never recommend buying a home from Lennar.
