There were some issues with the house even before going in that weren't fixed and it's sad that you have to submit a warranty request to get them fixed and that can take up to 1 - 2 weeks. They should definitely be more in depth of how to change out lights and other things that you normally wouldn't think to ask. It would also be great if you were a new and first time homeowner to have a contact person with questions as far as HOAs how to submit a service warranty just general things instead of reaching out to people who no longer want to work with you because you've already purchased the home. I had money coming back that I desperately needed instead im in my new home struggling. I was told up to the day I closed I was getting money back...instead I had tor fork out money. IT is sad that I had fork out money after being told I was fine and that I would get My deposit at closing....now I'm behind on everything and just moving in. I barely got my lights on in my name. I'm still very sad and disappointed this situation has really put me into a bind. I now may be late on my 1st House pmt due to this set back caused by YOU guys. My closing was moved 4 times extended by you guys because you all did not want to do a dry closing. The money was there but you guys continued to charge me daily despite being told it would be taken care of by the seller. well it wasn't and it caused me to suffer a hardship at the closing table, and it's causing me to still struggle to get that money back, I now have no money for emergencies. I wanted to close the LANIA area in like all of my neighbors have now I can't I missed the special. I am now doing a 2 hr commute and questioning was all of this even worth it and starting to have regrets. No one cares or watched out for the little man..I was a victim because I had to wait on the DP assistance and then penalized for it after being told that I was fine. please audit my account Thanks ... Working with Gino, the mortgage officer and Dennis, sales agent for the second time was excellent experience. The final walk though before the closing was excellent. the major issue this time was the delay of 4 months long delay in closing and loss of tenants/rent due to that was a major set back. Plus after the closing the ongoing construction with only one street access is a nuisance, mail delivery and school bus access are not convenient still. other than that location wise it is excellent. hope to get another smooth experience of buying a third home from Lennar.

Lennar makes some beautiful home, and the process and quick. My only issue is the information the sales and construction manager did not provide the correct information. For example landscaping. They told me I will need to maintain my lawn.which is fine. I specifically ask who maintains the lakes lawn. I was told the HOA will. It’s part of the Masters fee. But that wasn’t true And other issues is I ask about the lake behind my house. I ask was there anything in the lake. I was told no it’s a man made lake. Come to find out there is two alligators in it. Now I can’t let my small dogs out or my kids. It’s just a lot of small questions that was provided incorrect information Other than that I love my new house! ... More

You will receive many, many emails. Logging in to the Lennar website requires extra steps. You must receive an email as an extra step to log in.

The building manager is excellent to work with, fixes all issues I have reported. No major issues found so far. The only thing that was sour is that the HOA is not in control of the homeowners and they outsourced enforcement to a company that has an F with the better business bureau. Yelp is filled with negative reviews and only dealing with them briefly I fully agree. They do not respond in a timely manner and close out tickets before issues are resolved. It’s ridiculous that I could end up waiting 90 days or more to do a simple landscaping change to my own property.

Very surprised by the low average quality of some of the materials used in our new home. Relatively cheap carpeting with poor quality padding. No self closing cabinet drawers. Cabinet drawers not dovetailed. Relatively thin countertops.

The initial experience with the sales associate was pleasant and he was extremely generous with his time in showing us what we wanted to see. The homes are impressive at first, but lack everyday storage space where needed. After we started the paperwork portion it became somewhat of a nightmare. Everything was done on the computer and it seemed like we had to continually redo everything we signed online. I did receive extensive help from the administrator and he was patient and understanding. I also appreciated the extensive promotions we received and hand holding through the grueling computer process we were put through. If I had go do it over, I would have taken more time in choosing the house we picked and where it is in the community. I am disappointed in the overall layout of the home and the noise factor that comes from having a major highway in my backyard. I hope they will build a wall soon. ... More

Need help with new home repairs

Jason and Maria were definitely a pleasure to work with Carlos also was very professional all of them are valuable assets to lennar I'm definitely recommending lennar to people I know I think the HOA fee is way over priced and should be lowered a few people I tried to refer to said no to the offer simply because of the HOA fee

My overall experience was great! I had some really great people helping me through the process. I did have a few issues with the house once I moved in. Dishwasher not working and roof leaking in light fixture in the bathroom. Roof was taken care of quickly. Going on 2 months and dishwasher is still not working.

I was very surprised to get a great price for the size of a newly constructed home. However, after just the first week of moving in, I had to place 7 warranty claims on defects for certain materials. For example, it has been over a month and I am still have not received a new lock for my front door!

Found missing paint places and quality of workmanship not the best.

Great Sales Consultant Brian, answered questions by email, text, or phone. Ryan, mortgage officer and loan processor gave satisfactory service, the loan process was overwhelming with documents, turnaround time, and zoom loan closing,website had hiccups, the quality assurance person for walkthrough was awesome! The warranty specialist Miema has also been great, addressing needs w electrical system and paint repairs.

The buying experience was easy enough but not very personable I was handed a folder with the Deed and keys and that was it. Gavin has been very helpful in getting the minor problems fixed. The only problem that has not been fixed is the address problem which I hope will be fixed soon.

Lauren & Gina were the best people throughout the purchase. Still waiting on things they were going to complete that were pending from the second walkthrough tape was never removed. Waited 4 days for the money back after I was told that in 24 hours I was going to receive it. I purchased 2 houses in less than 2 years . Any way after all that…I love my house.

The biggest issues are that the shared walls aren't nearly as dampening as I was told, and that the paint job was very light/rushed. I assume it was all just sprayed on, but they should have put a thicker coat on because the slightest bump takes the paint off. The ACT D'MAND remote also doesn't work far enough to make a difference. Aside from that and a few cosmetic things they left (e.g. paint on locks), it's a comfortable place. Except for the dishwasher--which cleans well but whose interface is very cheap--the appliances are great. Even with the windows closed and a 90º day, it doesn't feel very warm except on the upper floor. ... More

The process was easy. All the people were very nice. Overall the house is good. Quikly built. Some issue and a lot of things not included which is what krpt the price down.

home is fine, quality is pretty good. Not putting in toilet paper holders, towel racks, seems cheap. They should do that. When you spend $500,000 on a property , this should be in. Issue with the floor in the kitchen and with my bathroom floor by the shower as well. Waiting for them to get back to me to fix. I have been waiting.

I’m glad we came with an experience and knowledgeable realtor. Please review your paperwork and make sure your loan officer communicates with you where you understand the closing documents. Overall I would say it’s 4/5 for me.

Same as above and when I called to ask a question I was referred to the supplier not Lennar to handle.

We had communication issues as it pertained to the exterior color scheme and after proving what was promised by the Lennar Salesman they basically told us to take it or leave it.
