We closed on our home on Feb.10,2023. We are extremely thrilled with our experience. Yes, there was a few hiccups, couple of delays, miscommunications, and a couple of repairs to be done but everything was straightened out in the appropriate time frame. Our real estate agent, Paula, was our shoulder to cry on, our uplifting voice and our insanity stablizer !! We are first time home buyers and it was more stressful than we expected but Paula was always there for us. The perfect person for us !!! Our mortgage lender, Elizabeth, was absolutely great ! She was always there when we needed her and tried her very best to keep us in the loop !! Our builder manager, Brandon, was the right person for us. He answered all of our questions and was honest if he didnt have the answer. But would always get back to us wirh the answers !! Buying a from Lennar was a challenge. This was our first new purchase and my expectations at the beginning were not met. Once we got our new production manager things went smoother. You need to be diligent about checking in and if you not in the area ask for pictures weekly. Overall it wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I would ever buy a newly built home.

All the warranty problems are difficult to address and fix Bad comunication

The initial sales contact was pleasant and the new home sales agent kept in touch until a deal that fit my budget could be met. I've learned with other sales agents and this one that the tone goes from professional to unprofessional once contracts were signed. Total nightmare with mold on the build in multiple places, but the regional sales managers worked to get me into another home. The new home presented with craftsmanship issues before move in that still have not been addressed almost 90 days past closing. Some homes get a patio screen and others are told it's a mistake that all don't get them with a sliding door. Also, granite countertops and tile floors are not sealed. If you complain about the patio screen it will be removed and not replaced. Some people get balloons and welcome banners on the purchase up their new home. I didn't get any welcome and had a horrible time getting utilities established. Warranty rep professionalism needs improvement or the person needs to be replaced due to attitude and unsolicited flirting. Work orders are not responded to at all or timely. They need a Service Life ticket system to track work orders and improve communications with customers. I guess I just need to hire a third party to fix issues because it'll be quicker. We didn't pick this community. It was a last resort on moving to put our children in better schools and resolve our build issue. So far we've had our cars broken into with items stolen, random knocking at our front door and we have experienced racism in the Bartow area, but our neighborhood is very diverse and I do like our neighbors. I feel robbed of a new home buying experience and trapped a few more years until the resale market picks back up and our family can move. Never will we desire to buy with this company again. On the date of escrow closing on 1/30/23 we supposed to get the keys to the home after the final walk through at 10am. Lennar made us wait the whole entire day then they finally handed us the keys after 7pm. We have purchased several brand new homes with various builders but never experienced such escrow problems. It was a shock to us that Lennar hardly fixed anything since the first walk through. We were so stressed out because we had to be at home every day for 3 consecutive weeks to allow Lennar to do the fixes but unfortunately Lennar had too many problems. Workers showed up at home without any tools, they did not know what to do because there was no Lennar supervision around. Worst yet the workers were very young especially not speaking a word of English. This kind of episodes kept repeating for 3 weeks long and up until last week things barely got done. We wanted Lennar to refund our money so we can buy a home somewhere else with better quality and timely maner of home delivery as promised. We have experienced tremendous amount of stress and bad experience with Lennar. If we have to write it would be pages long. Love the home the finishes were great and love the location

If there were a no star available for some categories, I would have put zero stars. On paper, an inspection was done but the mistakes missed during the “inspection” indicate nothing short of negligence. After two months, I am still dealing with Lennar mistakes and losing days waiting for workers who either don’t show or don’t complete the job. The lack of communication between Lennar and contractors only adds to the problems. Just today a worker was supposed to show and here I sit. It did not go well at closing. I had a tough time with Ashley's teammate. I finally had to escalate the situation to their boss, so I could close on the day matthew said after calling me when I was on the way there. Ashley was honest and said it may not happen, but Matthew said otherwise. I would never want anyone to go through what I experienced. I also have noticed some things that wasn't actually handled well but I signed off on the 2nd walkthrough.

Check every feature of the house and do not hesitate to ask questions.

Starting from initial tour to final closing, requesting minor patching/paint issues - Lennar took care of everything very smoothly and in a professional way. Very Happy with Lennar and will buy again with Lennar. The whole team from Sales, and Builders to Lennar finance took care of everything in a timely manner.

I absolutely hated dealing with Lennar Mortgage, you kept checking my credit score which made it go lower in order to charge me a higher interest rate. Dealing with LM is like dealing with the devil. The worst experience I've had in many years.

Helpful, informative and very professional.

I will not recommend. They bullied me to close on Jan 31 because they wanted high numbers for the month when they knew that the property wasn't fully ready. Lights in the patio was out of order, plugs in the living room not connected, missing breaker for the Solar system, irrigation pipe for a housing plumbing pipe, wrong entry keys provided at closing. So no, I would not recommend or write a great review.

For the past 20 years, I have worked in Real Estate and in purchasing my own home, one would think I would have a better experience. I closed because I needed to but today, my issues are still not resolved. I chase to get things done and no one responds. Worse experience for any homeowner. The quality of the workmanship on my home is horrible.

My biggest complaint is the quality of workmanship. I don't have the time or space to list all of the issues but I'll sum it up with this. It must have been bring your kids to work day and they let their kids build the house...drunk!

They changed the building code to have your drain pipe from your hvac system to drain in your master bedroom sink and it makes a loud gurgling sound every time the heater or a/c is turned on so it’s impossible to get sleep. They won’t come and reroute it either. I wish I would have used my realtor instead of their’s. I would not recommend using their loan officer, get your own! worst experience I have ever had buying a house. I will never buy another lennar home.

Its was a great experience we love the team of lennar who help us find the perfect home thank you so much we love the experience. I would refer all My friends and family to buy from only lennar

Over all we are very happy with Lennar, The only thing is there are some issues in our home which were reported and it got fixed latter,

Our experience was horrible, we chose and paid for a model Santa Rosa. However, our home was not built like the model. My master bedroom is missing two windows, a dining room should have been the enginery flood instead of a carpet. we got 1000 back for carper. The home was over price didn't pass the appraiser's value, we were given 11,000 after our lawyer was able to reach cooperate, but it still has 15,000 underwater. Adam was won't let us talk to cooperate at the beginning. We talked to Steve who was reasonable but Adam was always in the way with lies. If we have discovered the missing windows before closing. We wouldn't have a close on this home. The square footage was reduced in the living room. If you show us a model and we love the model and choose to pay for the model. My home should be built like the model. Don't show us something we work hard to pay for and subtract things out of the model. When we decided to build in this community, the primary appeal was the golf course and new amenity center. Both of these areas are superb. The building process was slow, the communication was poor between building crew and us, the home was not complete when we closed and not for the Lennar warranty team of exceptional workers/vendors, I'm not sure we would be staying here.

Buying a new home through Lennar was not our first time building a new home. While Lennar promotes "high end" packages, they fail to look at the whole picture. For example, the bathrooms had brushed nickel faucets, however, the toilet paper holder and towel rings were cheap chrome. The brushed nickel bathroom lights are the cheapest builder grade lights. Our hardwood flooring is covered in glue, and they have not been responsive about getting it cleaned properly. Transitions between floorings (the saddle) (tile & wood) is raised and creates a tripping hazard. We must have looked at least 13 house ,new and used, to find what we wanted as far as roomy, large yard and we picked one at Lennar Silos community . Even though they are not high standard quality built homes we loved the floor plan. We are happy with our selection.
