Sales people seemed to say anything to make a sale even if they later couldn't or wouldn't follow through on things. Also, the fact Lennar decided to no longer do 1-year touch ups was not made clear until warranty walk-through, I've never heard of a builder not doing at least a 1-year. My previous builder did 6-month and 1-year. Not being able to make any alterations, even simple things like moving lights is ridiculous for the price range. If they aren't going to let you pay for extra recessed lights (or even just move them), then they should let you bring a licensed electrician pre-drywall because with I-beam rafters, running wires after the fact is virtually impossible. Attention to detail prior to closing was poor. The drywall and paint was worse than my previous house which cost half as much. The two "independent" TLC reviews I was told were going to happen either didn't happen or they did a very poor job. The house was not even cleaned prior to closing and I had clean all cabinets prior to put things in them. Thankfully the warranty department has helped resolve virtually all of these issues. ... Overall good experience. Price of home is worth quality of the build. Only downside is getting issues fixed covered by warranty after closing.

The overall experience went pretty well, though after being in the house for a month, there are definitely things that look like shortcut were taken. Pavers not being even, no sand in papers, doors not being cut straight, dont stay locked, garage door not closing on its own, pavers not level with the garage floor, door jams not cut straight. screen doors are still missing for the slider doors. Overall we love the house, but in paying this much for a house, I dont appreciate when it looks like things were over looked and in trying to get them remedied, the process is taking weeks to get contractors out to handle the issues and in some cases after they have come out, we need them to come back out ... I'm having a difficult time giving a great review due to some of the issues that, we are going through. Poor craftsmanship, bad painting, bad sod, and the list goes on. I had a better experience in Nevada in 2009 when I purchased my first home from Lennar. Sorry they need to hire better professionals.

Construction manager is very very good and helpful but the final output and the materials of the home is not upto the expectations.

It started well, but we are now on our 4th contractor. We love the house, but still waiting on screens. They planted sod right after framing was done, but there were delays, so our new sod went unwatered for months.

Jamie was very helpful, informative, responsive and pleasant to deal with!

Quality is not met and not satisfied the customer needs

A lot of things could have been done with more care.

Experience was great. Quality workmanship and materials were awesome! But refrigerator's water and ice dispenser was not fully operational and I cant get them to replace it. The warranty contact was not helpful at all, no trouble call ticket provided and it seems like nothing has happened.

Day of closing home was not ready, all the issues get transferred to Home Warranty, it takes a long time and you buy a new home with things damaged or not finished and now you have to take care of it, make the calls then wait for a video call, then take time off work. I expected to have my home ready but sadly it was not, promised things were going to get done before we came back from our closing and it was not done. The people that work for Lennar are very nice but they are overwhelmed and over worked.

Communication from Lennar was excellent all the time. Sales contact Jeff was excellent. Very poor quality on house finishes compare to previous new homes I bought.

Given high material prices and the very strong demand from home buyers for new homes in Lakewood National, it is my belief Lennar cut corners when possible with respect to quality. The perceived pressure placed on the staff/workers to rush the process to close exacerbates the warranty work necessary afterwards. Interior paint quality and workmanship has been my biggest issue. However a missing smart lock for the front door, a thermostat (per the Honeywell help desk) that isn’t programmable to your phone, a missing kick plate for the dishwasher, and an expensive door that must be replaced because the glass insert was hastily installed, and an electrical outlet that was wired incorrectly are other examples. The construction manager worked diligently to resolve a significant punch list the week leading up to closing. Plus he personally made sure other issues were resolved after closing. Overall experience is good; sells person and team are very responsive; some final assembling jobs could be improved. Most of designs are nice; inside of kitchen cabinets should have all pulled out drawers. Aldo wish have more spaces/storage in laundry room.

For the most part, we are very happy with our Lennar home. We feel it was well built and we love our kitchen appliances. Our biggest disappointment is with the flooring. We were required to choose engineered wood, with only 3 color options. The floor had a bad spot when we moved in and has yet to be resolved. We have no children or pets, yet already have numerous scratches and nicks. It’s very disappointing. The other thing that I found surprising is that they didn’t put a mirror in the powder room and we had to install our own towel bars in the bathrooms. It makes us wonder in what other ways were costs cut that are not so obvious- I guess time will tell. ... More

Quality of materials used for the houses vary too much from one unit to the other and unfortunately your unit might be the one always getting the lowest quality of all.

the closing was delayed 3 times but I don't know if it was because of the bjilder

Overall wasn’t a bad experience buying the house 3 months of delays which is the times right now with all of the delays with materials. The fit and finish (the minor details) in my house were not the greatest I had to fix some things myself and few other things still not done. With how much I paid for this house I expect better.

We still haven’t received all the items in this “move in ready” home. It’s been nearly 60 days and we still don’t have the advertised (and paid for). We’ve contacted the local Lennar reps several times over the past month and still haven’t received the fridge or an alternate solution to the problem. It’s an issue that would prevent me from ever considering another Lennar home or recommending one to a friend/colleague.

This is our second Lennar home. We will continue to buy Lennar products if they continue to produce the same product.

My Lennar dream home turned into a nightmare. Drain lines backed up into the house . Had to have them cleaned out 3 times in the first month. Electrical plug-ins and light switches are in the wrong place on the walls. Cabinet doors installed wrong. Stove is unlevel. I could go on and on but I'm running out of room to write.

Our realtor was fantastic and was the best part of the experience. She sent us pictures and kept us updated throughout the process. However the attention to detail was not as fantastic. Paint on the tiles, appliances not hooked up, missing ceiling fan because they just “forgot “ to install and no bath mirrors. I definitely think more attention to detail is important. They did correct the issues we had over the first 3 weeks it just takes a lot of phone calls and time.

On my delivery MJ was keen on communication and timely responses for needed repairs.

Purchasing was easy enough, challenge with the walkthrough and follow up on outstanding items. Punch Lindt was extensive and I am still working through getting it taken care of. Spending a lot of time to make sure it gets completed and need to constantly follow up.

Lennar is more interested in quantity not quality. To many repairs had to be done after final walk thru. Other repairs having to take place after moving in.
