It was a difficult experience but in the end everything turned out well.

Electric appliances from GE is not a good product because science I moved in we are having issue and is not workin as of today.

The overall value of the house for what I paid is reasonable. However, when buying a new house, I do not expect things to have been installed incorrectly or cover-up made when contractors clearly broke something. It wasn’t until I took my first shower and my brand new home that I noticed the Shower liner had a crack at the top that had clearly been attempted to be covered up with caulk. At the top of the shower area there is about a 3 inch crack that had a thin layer of caulking over top that blended in and without being up close and personal, I could not see. Obviously, when it was installed, the contractor pushed too hard and cracked the wall, covered it and just carried on like nothing happened. I did call Lennar‘s warranty and they offered to repair it. However, I stated it needed to be replaced as I didn’t buy a new house to have something like that just covered up down the line there could be water damage possibly from The crack. They did replace it, but it was still a major inconvenience for me as I had to take the time first for a virtual appointment, then take a day off to wait for a plumber to come change it, and then have to wait for drywall people to come and fix the drywall. so now I do have a new shower wall, but I had to deal with the thin dust that was left behind from the drywall repair spend hours cleaning that. It now clearly looks like the shower lining has been cut out and re-drywall as it will never be a seamless line like it should be if it had just been done properly the first time. There have also been several other things such as the flooring is separating in several places which could just be from the foundation settling, or again from crappy contractors. Every door handle on every door has had to be re-tightened. I have also found trash underneath the sod and several other places as the contractors clearly were unable to find trash cans to throw their trash away . ... More

My home is lovely and so far I am happy that I moved here. It has been very difficult getting settled, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was disappointed because we had and misunderstanding about the elevation of the house. it was probably more my fault but I still wish it looked differently. The only problem we’ve encountered so far is getting small things fixed that are troublesome. I’m still happy that I moved to Gettysburg . And I would do it again.

getting help after you close is a problem landscaping all died weeks and still no action

Have serious drainage issues both sides of home and backyard. Sod has been in for months and hasn’t grown like it should, have had reps come out and virtual calls twice and no results. Have reported this to construction managers on multiple occasions have been ignored. I am not happy with Lennar at this point. For the price we paid for these homes these issues should be resolved. We have only been here for 7 weeks.

Slow at fixing AC not working in Master bedroom and numerous touchips with pain and calling. Both bathroom fans didn’t work. Who installs electrical equipment and doesn’t test it? Lennar.

I recently learned that Lennar used inferior shingles for the roofing. The sales person was pleasant, helpful and responsive though

It's a decent home.

Fast process of buying, adjusting of price and accessibility was very convenient. Till now, no mayor issues with the house quality/material used to build. Only thing I will highly suggest or highlight is for Lennar to keep an eye on the labor quality. It’s was obvious to see that the work/building crew did some mediocre job. Some electric wires were crossed and wrong installed. Fence was not completely closed in, shower drainage cover was glued to the floor instead screwed.

Salesperson and construction manager were excellent. Professional and responsive Construction appears solid so far, interior finishes are very low end

Sales team - I really liked Greg and the approachability. He was responsive and a great listener. He is customer focused and tries to get what customer want to his ability. House Finishing - It is good but can be better from painting, roof, grading, dry wall etc., Lacking to give the buyer a feel of completion/complete home - Lennar need to improve on giving the feel of completion. I mentioned it to sales and construction team. There are many things which are incomplete or not up to standard or not up to current generation ask like 1. Garage door opener is very old version which do not support wifi or app, 2. Second garage is not equipped with opener, buyer should install it. How much would it cost to builder for this or to that matter add this to the total cost. Why would you want buyer to get this done? 3. When blinds are given, I was told sliding door blind is not part of complete home blind installation. Does it not sound stupid, again same question - Why would you want buyer to get this done? 4. Fencing - I understand fencing is optional for most builders and back yard landscaping is personal, but my question is why can't builder give a standard fence for all and same question - Why would you want buyer to get this done? 5. Cabinet door handles - Why can't Lennar provide door handles, which is a common ask for every household? If buyer installs them then Lennar says cabinet doors warranty will be voided. This is so smart to get the doors out of warranty. 6. Ground cracks - despite follow up, ground cracks on basement or drive way are not done. 7. I understand Lennar has a policy of fixed specs but at least the sales team should clearly say what is part of package and what is not. Showing the model home and claimed it will be same but in reality it was different which dishearten at times. 8. Lennar may not need to provide the latest equipment but they can step up to provide the equipment which can satisfy the current generation instead of giving old or faded equipment like doors are not equipped with smart locks, way old garage door openers, refrigerator, bathroom accessories, wifi switches, blinds, etc., Warranty support team - Need to appreciate Tim and support on the warranty requests. This is a brand new home. We are aware it's not custom still doesn't mean when you move in there should be so many issues. Stop using the cheapest materials. We hung a small picture and the sheet rocks just fell apart. We have had a problem with almost every Appliance. I told my son I wanted new because I felt it was less stress I was wrong. The Trades were horrible. Cabinets were Cheap and doors warped. We've had so many problems. That being said. The staff is fantastic from sales,Mortgage,title and even after the sale they were great.. this is my advice if anyone wants to improve. Stop using useless trades to save a buck.have your construction Forman walk through the home prior to the customer walk through and then have the customer once its fixed..When we walked through it was a hot mess very disappointing. Even though they fixed 90% it just showed how the workmanship was crap.. ... More

Lennar kept me informed about the project progress very often and answered all my questions that i had during entire phase of house movement process

I recently had my home built by Lennar, and I would describe their workmanship as average. The construction was completed on time, and the overall design met our expectations. However, we noticed some minor issues with the finishing details and quality of materials used. While nothing was a dealbreaker, we did have to follow up on a few items that required additional attention. Lennar's customer service was responsive and addressed our concerns, but we felt the initial craftsmanship could have been more thorough. Regarding value for price paid, I have some reservations. For example, this $405,000+ house didn’t come with toilet paper holders! They had to be installed after I moved in! The bigger issue for me is the almost complete lack of follow up and prompt fixing of structural and other issues found after I moved in. Two emails, regarding structural and other issues that need to be addressed, sent more than two weeks ago, to the Customer Care Representative, have not even been acknowledged leave alone responded to. I would have given zero stars to Responsiveness to issues if that option was available. I hope a live person will read this and get back to me soon. ... More

Very good sales attention. Slow attention on closing day

There's always gonna be something wrong whether it's a new build or an older home. With that being said, the luxury of having a new build is that you have warranties. Lennar was helpful with the interest rate and closing cost. I just wish that when you do need a repair they would make it easier without always happening to have a virtual meeting even though you upload pictures and videos from that then somebody will come out which is another day, you have to takeoff and then for them to fulfill the order and that's if it's done correctly, the first time around.

I can say without a doubt, Lennar has very beautiful and quality homes. With every new home comes slight things to fix, but overall love our new home! Thanks Lennar!

Home looks fine, but sloppy builds. cabinets are not leveled, cabinet door rubs against base when opening, a lot of edges need caulk as there’s small cracks, paint thinned/cracks on top of walls. Tons of smaller details. No window screens, no fans, and little things they can do to improve. Overall good experience, but could definitely step it up for a better review!

Good but rush from sales to close out the deal and no response after the closing

The houses go up quick. The folks working on the houses are most likely not skilled carpenters, brick layers, etc. the numerous issues after construction have been addressed. The customer service manager is ver responsive. Wish lennar would allow you to pay for upgrades. They put a package together and aren’t flexible to needs. Finishes are nice. I would like to see them come to with a better way to keep the other new construction from being so intrusive. I get we bought new construction. Don’t remind us of it by having every worker block your drive way or blast music at 7am while they hand drywall. ... More

Most of my experiences were great. The painters were a joke and couldn’t even use the correct paint to do patches. Carpet Installers are inexperienced and need to be trained better so that way you can’t feel all the strips through the carpet.

The Lennar team was great to work with from the beginning of the sale to closing.
