This is my first purchase and is smooth

Do not trust anyone with Lennar. I gave them earnest money and they kept it.

Price changes, pressure sales tactics, lack of honesty in answering concerns not appreciated, delays in getting answers.

This whole experience has been terrible. Lennar employees have zero communication skills. They don’t return your phone calls, and they don’t communicate with each other until you get upset and ask to speak to their managers. When you put a work order in they don’t show up for services when they say they are or they close work orders without completing any work. The HOA fee is a joke and when we first were looking into this subdivision they told us wifi and trash were all included with our HOA fee. Well that was a complete lie. You pay separate for everything. If you move here you are stuck with this WiFi and even if you get an outside WiFi service for a better deal you’ll still have to pay for the one they set up in the home even if you don’t use it no matter what. The HOA people are no help either and when you call to discuss these fees all they have to say is they aren’t a part of Lennar so they can’t be held accountable for what the Lennar employees told us or what prices they gave us. This is supposed to be our dream home but from the way we’ve been treated it’s been more like a nightmare. ... More

The process was great but the only thing that I wish they spent more time with us new home buyers was the welcome package and giving all the info/details on what to setup for payment.

Awesome Experience buying a home with Lennar very impressed love the help they give and how friendly and professional everyone is overall it was an experience to remember will be recommending to all my family and friends that have never purchased a home too not be afraid at Lennar they help you every step of the way.

Not orderly in getting things done. Too many last things before the closing to be done when we felt like they already had everything they needed but it seemed like up until the minute we signed the papers there was something else we had to give them or something else we had to do not not on top of things

Make sure you get an inspection. Water leak in walls, they found mold in new home. The plumbing had water leak in wall. The need to slow down lots of short cuts Stone on front had to be redone, crack sink, cupboard Things not sealed. Patio door, foundation fill Lots of work orders. Slow down and do a quality job. Need to make sure supervisor follows up

House is just ok. Builds cheap material and finish work is not that great. Final inspection finds weren’t fixed and never really were for a new house but that is Lennar’s standard on their builds. Our common area was all done and Lennar drives their construction trucks to drop off new material for new home building community next door tearing up the grass and making a mess.

Sales person jamiel and sale director are unprofessional lazy never returned call

My overall experience was very good and I had a great team of people working with me. I was not expecting there to be no towel bars or toilet paper holders in either bathroom !! The yard is the biggest disappointment. It was mostly weeds and brown sod when I moved in a month ago. I have had it mowed twice, and have hired a turf company. Yet I get a nasty email yesterday from Fieldstone, the HOA... But overall I love my new house !!!!!

The sales people were extremely responsive and helpful until you sign the contract. Once the contract is signed, no one cares. If there are issues or concerns, then you can always cancel your contract which means they take you 10k. I'd bought a Lennar home earlier in tracy and was hoping things got better in the process, but it was gotten worst. With everything being online - I've had to chase people to just get what was promised to me. If I had to purchase - I'll definitely not buy a home with Lennar. They say everything is included, but they don't say what is included like towel racks in the bathroom that was missing, medicine cabinet are not installed in my bathrooms and the most memorable is the fact that I was promised MyQ garage door and the cheapest garage door with no internet connections. If you complain, no one cares. I've extremely disappointed in the whole process and wished I bought a home with another builder. ... More

I purchased a built inventory home, even with paying an independent inspector after move in, the quality of many of the items used in building is so disappointing this is the fifth home I have built purchased new and I have never had so many issues after move in from the cheapest of the cheap flooring to the flat white paint that even with the paint codes Sherwin Williams cannot match - so disappointed

Terrible workmanship, no follow-through (example: I have a work order that's 3+ weeks old), promises not kept, no accountability, excuses for everything. It is VERY clear they know & don't care.

1. The licensed realtor-sales representative from Lennar informed us we were REQUIRED to use Lennar Title for escrow services. When we cited the Nevada law that Buyer may choose Escrow company, she referred us to the Division President in Reno. He agreed we could use our own Escrow company, but would forfeit up to 6K in closing cost incentives. Surprised a licensed real estate agent would say we were REQIURED to use Lennar Title. 2. Appliances - Appliance package is advertised to be GE Profile for “dishwasher, microwave, Range”. Most models have the range, but two largest models, the Rapallo and Portofino, which have a double wall oven and cooktop. The marketing does not specify this difference. We confirmed with sales agent ALL appliances would be GE Profile. Upon total walk-thru, day prior to closing, we confirmed the cooktop was GE, but not the top end Profile line. Again, spoke with Division President about the issue, no upgrade was offered. We were not happy about not having all Profile line. 3. During the purchase process, our sales agent told us the elevation brick veneer would be the brown/tan brick. As our house neared this phase of construction, we requested confirmation again of brick color, this time she informed us it would be RED and could not be changed. This was NOT what we wanted. Again, spoke with Division President who agreed to revise, only after we’re provided the written text indicating initially the brick veneer was “not Red”. 4. We ended up using Lennar TitlrEscrow and shortly after we received an email informing us our deposit of $198,825 was deposited into our escrow account by another buyer. They were unaware of the error until we advised them we had not made any deposits of that amount. An experienced escrow agent should never make this mistake and if they do, should notify all parties of the error immediately. 5. We advised Lennar Escrow agent how we specifically would like to take title in our Trust name. She became very judgmental, argumentative, and demeaning “have you ever taken title in Nevada and do you know the Nevada law, etc”. And how she had been doing this for 30 years” Was not professional 6. After numerous calls to schedule a design appointment at ILG, we finally were successful. We were trying to coordinate when in town from So Cal. The the rep we were assigned was not there so met with another associate. She showed up hard counter surfaces for bath and kitchen. We chose the same product for both. Only did we find out later, the material was not available in the kitchen. We had to reselect something we were not thrilled about, VERY LIMITED, not so great choices especially given the many options that could be available. We did not have any samples mailed to us so was hard to really see what we were getting. 7. Design elements are way out-dated. Kitchen knobs only. Would have preferred handle pulls, top mounted round bath sinks instead of under mount rectangular ones, unfinished garages, very limited flooring options and exuberant costs. I’ve bought new homes from Shea and Toll Brothers and had significantly much better experiences all around. Would not buy another Lennar home. ... More

Great value in a Lennar purchase. One criticism is the appliances. Need better products.

We had fantastic experience working with Lennar sales team and later with Loan officers. We got great price for our house which was perfectly fit to our budget.

Terrible experience. Grading still not done in backyard and sides. Water pooling against foundation. No response from customer service. Would not recommend Lennar.

While the sales team and quality team were excellent, the mortgage “process” (not the people) was very stressful. Lennar pushes to close quickly on inventory homes, and mortgages require many steps to complete, which means they do not give the buyer much time to produce documents, or information. They set the close date quickly and threaten to “lose your great rate”, if you do not meet the time demands for disclosure. They would not schedule my closing on a date I preferred, but on a date they wanted. I believe my situation would have been much more pleasant if these demands were more relaxed or if they had worked with my preferred dates. In the long run, the rates actually have come down so I was pushed for nothing and could have closed on a better date for all involved. Even the mortgage team was stressed to meet the deadlines. I love my new home. I wish I was able to upgrade the appliances and bathroom fixtures.

You need better informed employees. Your title and sales department are lacking. Couldn’t give me right pricing didn’t include solar purchas lost documents. Worse home buying experience ever.

Happy that we got the house we wanted to meet our dream with big yard…I bought the house and then left out of town, I haven’t been in the house yet to live. Once I started living in my house then I can honestly provide my survey
