Overall, this is a good home buying experience

We find all of the personnel to be straight forward and service oriented. COVID has made it hard to get "quality subs" many lack depth of experience to do their trade.

We really enjoyed working with Joe. He was the real face of Lennar for us. Always took the time to explain things and respond to calls and texts in a reasonable amount of time. I would work with Joe again and refer him to friends and family who are looking for a home!

Overall it was a good experience

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase of a townhome built by Lennar. However, the drywall and paint work done throughout the house is not stellar. It’s clear to see they were both rushed jobs. The paint used is not of high quality and, as a result, makes it very difficult to blend and match up perfectly when trying to fix imperfections. (This was confirmed by another professional painting company.) Several of the switch plates are crooked but my home inspector told me that, unfortunately, is something that could not be fixed without replacing the drywall completely. I was lucky enough to choose my kitchen countertops, cabinet colors, and floors before construction began. I do wish there were more options to customize things like fixtures. There were some speed bumps along the way, such as the keys I received at my closing did not work so I was unable to access my new home until the following Monday as it required a locksmith to come out and replace the deadbolts, etc. I like the design of the home and the neighborhood. Good experience in an a sellers market

Buying experience was good but open issues not taken care in timely manner and still have lot of open issues.

A lot of poor quality work discovered and still being discovered in the house. Lennar does respond to get things fixed.

Lennar is only builder that provides option “Everything included” for their new houses. We really love this great idea and comfortable for home buyers when searching for new home. The service responsiveess is very good. However, the workmanship is not good.

It’s been a roller coaster ride since we first sat down with the Lennar sales person. Lots of attitude, miscommunication, and mistakes. It wasn’t until we contacted the Lennar Division President that we got some real answers and satisfaction. Our first customer service “after the sale” person was lame. We didn’t get a day of possession celebration or gift and he told us that the foundation and walls being out of square was “normal” and that’s how Lennar builds homes. We were told to feel fortunate that we didn’t have some of the problems that other Lennar buyers were experiencing. Our latest customer service person echoed these sentiments, but he’s definitely more responsive and reliable. The Lennar Mortgage and Title people were awful in the beginning, but we ended up with a terrific team of professionals helping us. The sad reality is that Lennar is no better nor worse than Toll Brothers, DR Horton or any of the larger tract development companies. ... More

Could have been thought better than just following the blue print

We absolutely love our home and the process from choosing options all the way through to the construction meetings and home walk-throughs and closing. The process was pretty straightforward with regular check-ins and updates. Our biggest area of feedback is the warranty follow-up now that we are closed on the house. Understanding that trades and materials are delayed at this time, but need more communication and scheduling updates from the warranty team. Other than that, we love our house and the building process with Lennar.

Lennar employees are very friendly and they answered all my questions. What I love the most is having one bedroom in the first floor and the upgrades in the house. Thank You Lennar!

Great Experience with the sales team

Our rep Amanda is gone. No informatuon was given of who to contact. No paint was left for the touch ups. Big issues as we cant find the same paint. Sherwin-Williams would not have the paint till maybe may 2022. Facet was broken. We moved 7 months . We were told wear and tear. Will not get it fix

Sales were great! Community Superintendent is very very good and attentive. However our punch list is very slow to get done. Part of that list is the pool company installing an old mainframe box while all other houses got the new ones. Handling the punch list with a purpose should be the priority.

Very pleased with service from construction manager., Mitch. He was always available to answer questions and assist. Disappointed with sales representative. The day we signed agreement to buy house was the last time we heard from Patty.

In my opinion for the price point people are paying for these homes there should be much nicer products being put into them. I also think the buyer should be given more options to pick what products are in the home they are buying.

However, I feel like no one wanted to take responsibility for some of the issues that I was experiencing with my new home. Easily and quickly put it off on the development/management company that the house is associated with. Frustrating! I will say that I love my new home and I will work through the issues on my own which unfortunately will have to come out of my pocket because the management company believes that it is Lennar's responsibility per the warranty. I am stuck in the middle!
