Toilets / Leaking shower / Drawers / Grass Sod / Power plugs

The toilets are so low, my privets drop in the water when I set down and it is very frustrating. They will have to be replaced. The glass shower leak in the master Bathroom. No need for three tubs in one house. Could use the room in the master bath for drawers. No drawers in the bathrooms. They laid several big areas of dead sod and will take a lot of water and time to bring back to life. Need more power plugs in the back of the house.

Flooring and Frigidaire appliance

We have some concerns about our flooring. We had hard woods and had a major leak which required only replacement of a portion of the flooring. It was also installed without acclimation and air condition. The floor was installed for three weeks with no AC and the some areas are showing sigh Ed of swelling and expansion. The appliances specifically dish washer had various problems and Electrolux support is terrible.

The house is nice but you won't have internet access for an extended period of time. Verizon blames the developer who blames the contractor who blames Verizon. There is no communication among the 3 of them, except to pass the buck.

Love the house. Quality lacking

I absolutely love the house. However, the quality is lacking. You have no idea how NOT sound proof it is until you move in and hear every conversation from any room in the house. The paint I am cleaning up off the floors, showers, holes in walls, shotty paint job - all things you don’t have the chance to find during a short walk thru, from 6 feet away (if you can’t see it from 6 feet, they won’t fix it). The upgrade choices were limited. Follow up on issues up after closing has been good. Again, I do love the house there are just things I wish could have been different and better

Good value, shady process

I do not regret buying from Lennar, but the process was rough. First of all, the price is not the price. There is a builder's fee you pay at closing. Secondly, while the guy who headed up the building process is awesome and has been very responsive, and while there are some nice features in the quality of the materials they used, there are also some weird cost saving things that they do, like putting studs on 24" centers if they are internal and non load bearing. Also, the flooring seems very substantial but it is sheeting and not planks, which of course means if it gets damaged, the whole ...

Service after the sales lacks significantly. After closing there has not been any follow-up. Our stove never worked. We went back and forth with the electrical contractor and Frigidaire both pointing the finger at each other. The situation finally got resolved after six weeks. I still do not know how to operate my sprinkler system properly. ( no instruction Manuel left) .No instruction manual for any of the appliances or hvac. I feel like once they got my money at closing we were on our on.

The quality of the framing and finish leaves much to be desired. The second-floor creaks, and the plywood on the second floor isn't laid in a staggered pattern. The ceilings aren't even because the builders didn't level the trusses before installing the drywall. Buyers aren't given a blue tape inspection before closing where they could point out deficiencies. So, we have to live in the house and wait for them to fix these issues under warranty, if that even happens.

I can honestly say my first time home buying purchase didn't go as well planned. My loan officer was horrible at communicating. If I never reached out to her she would probably have never called me etc. the lady who showed us the houses stopped talking to us after she knew we were going to be purchasing the home. The communication was poorly all around. Joshua the construction manager was amazing and Brandon the warranty manager was also very helpful. Over the home is what I wanted and 2 months in no issues have been raised.

First disappointment is that I wasn’t made aware of the promotions going on at the time I went to visit the community. property I tried to talked them into transferring my deposit to one of the models on promotion but got denied. Moving day came, it was a hot weekend and AC wasn’t working at all. Made an emergency call to have it checked. Found the AC had faulty wiring, 2 nights without AC. BTW, filter was also filthy and customer service did replaced it but it took 6 weeks. Garage, patio and porch are still looking filthy with discoloration. Customer service agreed to washed it but we ...

There are issues with the community itself that Lennar refuses to find a resolution for such as people parking in my turnaround spot as I am an end unit. The grass is being destroyed and is turning into a mud pit in my corner because of this issue that no one will fix

Sales rep was super pushy and almost lost the sale. I had to fix several plumbing issues myself after moving in. Kitchen sink had no hot water. Also shower head in master was leaking. Turns out it was cross threaded and I had to replace shower arm. Interior was swarming with fire ants. Luckily an exterminator was available to come out the next day. I understand this is common but Lennar should hire an exterminator to prevent this even if they need to recommend continued service after sale. Interested to see how house holds up in a hurricane; rafters look like they were thrown together by a ...

Many difficulties - Roofing shingles were not properly installed - Title Closing site caused closing confusion - Two problems with HVAC system - Roof trim/venting had to be redone - Shower head started spray leak - Wall paint above shower needed re-painted - Kitchen GFCI circuit failed for four outlets - Street signs never installed for my street and two others before and after streets, Lennar reps ignored, so I had to contact city councilperson to prompt city to install, still waiting - Lennar did not confirm mail delivery on-going, so have not received mail for over 6 weeks, have had to go ...

All the homes look the same after you have seen a few. Take your time to really go through the homes at your pace and don't feel the pressure of needing to make a decision before the end of the quarter when prices are sometimes reduced. Go for location over what the home has featured as built. You will update things on the inside over time, but you can not change the location.

The home buying experience needs to change. It's very stressful and you are not guaranteed that you will get the house based on your offer as you only get one chance. It's a single offer with no chance to counter offer. Lennar needs to allow counter offers. The home itself, for over $1M, is average. Material selections are average at best. Vinyl flooring and not hardwood. The same small MDF trim used for baseboards and window trims. Bath fixtures are Moen which are nearly bottom grade quality fixtures. Windows are only trimmed out downstairs with sheetrock wrap upstairs (1960's). Millwork ...

Let me start but saying I love my house and location! The sales agent was great and very friendly! The mortgage side is 10 out of 10! Very easy, responsive and very nice. The construction team is horrible. Late to every meeting if they showed up at all. Didn’t fix all the items on my pre closing walk. It was cosmetic but still wasn’t fixed. The house closed without grass. It’s been 45 days since closing and still do not have grass. Mind you it has rained some but they do not respond to canceled start dates or follow up. I text them with no response. I love my house and don’t regret a thing ...

Our buying experience started great, we were very excited to get approved for the home. The home-buying process started great and then continued to go downhill. By the end of the process we still had no idea what day we would close. It was very stressing. The workmanship on the home varies. Some things are done really well, like the appliances, but the attention to details is lacking. For example, where the countertop pieces in the kitchen meet, one side is cornered and the other is not. There were scratches on the island that didn't come out. There are clumps of paint on the underside of ...
