I’ll preface this by saying that I have base-level experience in construction and I’ve built a home with another builder before- so this is not my first rodeo. I will say that working with Logan, in the sales office was a pleasure. He was kind, informative, speedy, and helpful. So this doesn’t reflect on him. But the process by which they handle the build of your home is sloppy and lazy. For over a $700k home, you’d think they’d care enough to not leave orange peels all over your newly laid carpet, leave pizza in your window wells, a rotisserie chicken under your deck. You’d think they’d care enough to have more than one builder call every few weeks. I had 2 in the entire duration of my home building process. Linda in their Lennar lending office went away on leave and never got my loan covered, so stuff fell through the cracks and I was scrambling at the end to get handled what needed to be handled. It’s lucky I’m smart, quick, and capable or I wouldn’t have been able to close. I was also pressured to change the terms of my loan at the 11th hour. The quality of work is REALLY POOR! They slap your house together as fast as possible with zero care or attention to detail. I have doors that don’t close, ones that won’t stay open, yellow tape from our walk that never got addressed. I closed with a long list of items that were supposed to be handled in the 30 days after closing- surprise surprise- they weren’t. Now the warranty rep, Justin is VERY nice and did a great job making me feel comfortable and assured on our preclosing walk that I’d be taken care of. But 30 days came and went, and I got several stock emails saying that they attempted to schedule trades and were unsuccessful so I was being transferred to warranty. As you might have guessed - no attempt was made to schedule ANY trades, and I wasn’t even living in the home, so it could have been easy. They sent one guy to power wash, who showed up unannounced, despite me saying I needed appointment times! Now Justing did try to call me twice over 8 weeks. I was working so I missed his call - and I called him back both times- no answer. I sent a distressed email- which he assured me he prioritizes and always responds to! That he’s trained to take e-mails seriously! Zero response! Just some more stock emails and DocuSigns that I’m refusing to sign. When I built with David Weekley, I was treated WELL! The trades cared and did a good job, the builder was highly communicative, I was involved in every step, the warranty rep handled the inevitable issues like a pro. I was thrilled with that experience! This experience at Lennar made me feel like I bought a $500 slab from them. I read the reviews, I saw the comments on my community FB page to not sign on the house until things were done, that Lennar doesn’t care, and they do terrible work and just sell you - and when you close you’re on your own. I assumed I should take that with a grain of salt because ppl only write reviews if they have an amazing experience or terrible one - nothing in between. I should have listened! Now- I love my community and neighbors, but I wish I could have built with another builder! Or at the least that Lennar would streamline their process to make the customer happy and provide work and craftsmanship that is worthy of the prices we’re paying! ... More

We found that the staff was so responsive with any details that needed to be attended too. Highly recommended.

We loved the sales team. Mortgage was a headache. A lot of the supplies are cheaply made and constructed “to spec” but they’re not done the right way. Like the electric box. It’s approved by village inspectors but not done the best way. The windows and wall’s allow for a lot of noise from the outside

After many years of seeing Lennar home sites throughout California, my wife and I decided to purchase one. One of the things we saw on all signs was Lennar’s “ei” everything included. My experience is nothing is included. The level of “cheap” rings thru day after day. We’ve only closed escrow less than two months and are having issues. To be fair maybe this is common for all home builders to be somewhat cheap? I would not recommend Lennar to anyone, based on our experience.

My experience at Lennar was great. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The staff at the home center was great! The process was relatively quick and communication was great!! I love my new home

Good deals; thoughtful design, good material used it seems For Workmanship and quality, we will ha e to wait for a year to see how things turn out.

from a purchase point of view, our experance with Ricky in sales was amazing, very detailed and accomedating, however, dealing with corprate closing / title team is less then desirable and needs major attension in future with new home owners

My home buying experience was loaded with delays and disappointments. The quality of these houses is also not very good. I would look at moving somewhere else if I had to do it over again.

Do not close until everything is what a new home should be. We have had a bad experience.

The construction took 2 months more than anticipated. The communication or updates on the status of the house were very poor because The construction team was not providing updates. Once we moved into the house they were multiple concerns of undone repairs and we are still dealing with necessary repairs. Also, The tiles style were changed without notice to the buyer

The home is beautiful and we have enjoyed settling in. The home is spacious and laminate throughout is helpful as far as cleaning. My constructive criticism is as follows. The fresh air intake that is built in is terrible. Anytime anyone around is grilling or smoking outside, the odor ends up inside. A lot of the paint is flaking off in spots so the quality might not be the best. Shower walls are flimsy so be careful. We appreciate the timely manner in which things have been fixed, David is on top of things. We look forward to enjoying our home for many years to come.

No quality on materials, no good finishing, no response on issues after closing.

My spouse and I are excited to have discovered Lenna Homes of San Antonio. As a couple in our late 50's and never purchasing a home before, the expectations when we finally had a physical look at our home were above reproach. The style, equipment, appliances size of front and back yards were more than what we expected. The staff at Lennar guided us through the paces and explained in detail what each step encompassed. We could not be any happier at this point. Thank you for fulfilling our dream as homeowners.

During the entire buying and building process communications from Lennar were non existent. Lack of choices in building upgrades. Lennar cut most all extra's including lighting, Very poor excuse for a custom builder. "Everything included" is a joke!

I have bought 3 houses with Lennar so far, but I am done with them and not going to buy and will discourage new buyers

Our house was a good price for what we got. The style is modern and up to date. Just hoping that the amenities center and dog park open soon.

Loan Officer working for Lennar was very responsive, detailed and knowledgeable! Made the buy alot easier! House and yard was great!

The house is great, we have had a couple of issues, but customer service, took care of it.

The sales lady was great. The man in charge of the build was great. Both super friendly and made the process tolerable. It was much better experience than we had with Ryan Homes. Decent value with the fence, blinds, sod, and watering g system included. Quality is a concern - back door leaked, water bib not put on correctly so it blew the control valve out. Other small things that are frustrating on an expensive house. The garage is barely long enough for our cars so it is really tight and for as much money as we paid, that is unacceptable. Some fixtures are cheap. Again, some nice features but others belong in a house that is half the cost. I think we overpaid so the value is just not there and to be disappointed with the garage, with cut corners, and other things just does not lead to a good value in my opinion. ... More

Communication suck!!!! If I would have known this before purchasing my house I would have never brought my house with you all!

We closed on our home on Feb.10,2023. We are extremely thrilled with our experience. Yes, there was a few hiccups, couple of delays, miscommunications, and a couple of repairs to be done but everything was straightened out in the appropriate time frame. Our real estate agent, Paula, was our shoulder to cry on, our uplifting voice and our insanity stablizer !! We are first time home buyers and it was more stressful than we expected but Paula was always there for us. The perfect person for us !!! Our mortgage lender, Elizabeth, was absolutely great ! She was always there when we needed her and tried her very best to keep us in the loop !! Our builder manager, Brandon, was the right person for us. He answered all of our questions and was honest if he didnt have the answer. But would always get back to us wirh the answers !! Our home buying experience was really great for us with Lennar Homes !! Yes, I would recommend everyone involved in our journey !!! Buying with Lennar Homes was a dream come true for us !!! ... More

Buying a from Lennar was a challenge. This was our first new purchase and my expectations at the beginning were not met. Once we got our new production manager things went smoother. You need to be diligent about checking in and if you not in the area ask for pictures weekly. Overall it wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I would ever buy a newly built home.

All the warranty problems are difficult to address and fix Bad comunication

The initial sales contact was pleasant and the new home sales agent kept in touch until a deal that fit my budget could be met. I've learned with other sales agents and this one that the tone goes from professional to unprofessional once contracts were signed. Total nightmare with mold on the build in multiple places, but the regional sales managers worked to get me into another home. The new home presented with craftsmanship issues before move in that still have not been addressed almost 90 days past closing. Some homes get a patio screen and others are told it's a mistake that all don't get them with a sliding door. Also, granite countertops and tile floors are not sealed. If you complain about the patio screen it will be removed and not replaced. Some people get balloons and welcome banners on the purchase up their new home. I didn't get any welcome and had a horrible time getting utilities established. Warranty rep professionalism needs improvement or the person needs to be replaced due to attitude and unsolicited flirting. Work orders are not responded to at all or timely. They need a Service Life ticket system to track work orders and improve communications with customers. I guess I just need to hire a third party to fix issues because it'll be quicker. We didn't pick this community. It was a last resort on moving to put our children in better schools and resolve our build issue. So far we've had our cars broken into with items stolen, random knocking at our front door and we have experienced racism in the Bartow area, but our neighborhood is very diverse and I do like our neighbors. I feel robbed of a new home buying experience and trapped a few more years until the resale market picks back up and our family can move. Never will we desire to buy with this company again. I appreciate the efforts of those who tried to correct the sale situation, but I don't think we should have purchased this home. We should have talked away and went with another builder. ... More
