Community is great, home layout is great. Really disappointed with the cleanliness and the actual process of a home being completed at closing. It appears that the home quality does not matter as long as there is a CO. The rest we can pass off to warranty. If there were some simple checks and balances in place where someone actually went through the homes prior and completed the items. I’m a real estate agent and can say Lennar walkthru’s are by far the most difficult and I am trying to explain to my clients why their home is not actually completed but don’t worry someone will come along later to finish up all the loose ends. We are very disappointed in the quality of workmanship and the quality of materials and appliances used. We moved in six weeks ago and have had dozens of issues with defective appliances, broken items, missing mirrors, cabinets & other items. The response time has been very bad and we feel like we have been forgotten

Closing was pushed up by a month and home wasn’t fully Complete when we closed. Some things you can tell were rushed when being done. Quality suffered to get it closed sooner.

Pay close attention during your walkthrough. We found many issues including: damaged cabinets, broken tiles, poor paint work, etc. Don’t ask for any deviations from there plan as they are generally not very flexible. Warranty team has been very helpful.

House thrown together with the promise of....we will fix your issues within a year. We were really disappointed when we were forced to sign for closing. We were told sign or lose your 42,ooo. Cupboards all put together uneven, tile chipped, granite chipped, walls slapped together with oneven drywall, stucco missing on outside of house and more. We almost walked away. My husband has been fixing so much himself. All neighbors say that's how Lennar rolls. We bought this home because our friends said they bought one years ago and they were great....not anymore!!

Everything was excellent ffrom signing to closing

Finish work in the home was poor. Appliances damaged, drywall finish was terrible. Front door won’t close flush. House was very dirty soon arrival. Oil and paint on driveway, roof issues overall very disappointing.

I loved everything about the experience. My ONLY complaint was with ANABEL, the rep who gave the 2 walk-throughs once my home was complete. She was NOT flexible with her scheduling which caused me to leave work both times, she rushed thru the walkthru..she could have just handed me the brochures to read because her presentation and customer service was horrible. She asked me to tell her for the most minut issues. I pointed out a couple and she NEVER followed up.

I've purchased Lennar before and had no issues, however, in purchasing this Lennar condo things were rushed...the walls were sloppy, no door handles, drawers didn't shut, broken fixtures, etc....whoever did the walk through since we're out of town should've been fired!! Just getting things fixed now.... taking forever....

Worst closing day experience that I have had with a new home. There were numerous unfinished and non-corrected items in the home. The home was not cleaned! Sheetrock dust and dirt on the floors and counters/cabinets. The hot water heater over-flow pan was full of water. I spent a few hours going through the home with Tom pointing out the issues. I would have postponed the closing but I had a number of scheduled deliveries for that day. There are still a number of these noted items today that have not been corrected. I have moved to three other new built houses in the past, this was the worse experience ever. From beginning to end- starting with the sales person, who did not know much, everything had to be asked to supervisor, she provided wrong information. I was told all the closing cost would be covered and it was not, I am still waiting for answers, since November 29th- closing date. My home was not completed when it was supposed to be, I had to move in to a house needed another week of work. As of now, there is still long list of items needs to be completed. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the condo at closing. There were no kitchen or laundry appliances installed, one toilet didn’t work, no electric switch in MB, needed painting and dirty. It took 3 days before we could consider moving in. This seems to be the norm- close the deal then race like crazy to make it liveable. No apologies- that’s just the way it is. After 6 weeks of waiting for an electrician to fix the light switch on the MB counter, we went out and hired our own electrician to fix it. I am being kind with my ratings. Lennar should have never got into Mortgage business they did not have a clue. Their homes are well built and I am happy with my purchase but the mortgage process was extremely stressful and a lot of unnecessary transfer of duplicate documents.

We bought our home during Thanksgiving week, and we couldn’t be happier we were able to get the Christmas tree up quickly for a wonderful Christmas in our new home. Our overall experience was great, especially with every answer that we had. Mission del lago is a good neighborhood and neighbors are very welcoming. We’re happy we chose Lennar.

It basically was a good experience.

Not so happy with Lennar anymore,If it wasn’t because I found a lender at the last moment I would’ve lost my deposit , and not to mention the value of the townhouse too high along with a high interest interest rate. And to make it worse a high HOA 250.00 monthly with no amenities still waiting and taking forever to make the poolside. But yes we still have to pay HOA high fee just to perceive blocks and dust . Not fair at all .

Is not a good company

Our experience with a lennar has been a roller coaster. The agent that helped us from the beginning has been very helpful. She was especially helpful right at the end. The frustration comes with the construction manager. When we did our final walk-through, there was no power, so there were things that we missed. When we were able to walk through the day that we actually purchased the house, we found a number of things that need to be fixed. He assured us that these would be taken care of. These things included ordering pieces for the closet rack, fixing issues with the counter, fixing caulking issues, And fixing holes in the wall. The counter was fixed. However, nothing else has been resolved. We’ve been in our home for a month and a half and have no indication that anything will be resolved. The work was sloppy, especially with painting and caulking. Things that I would not expect out of a $400,000 home . ... More

I will never ever go with Lennar again! If you’re looking for a home, don’t ever go with Lennar. Save yourself the hassle and certainly save your money invested somewhere else. once I started the process with them, we faced absolutely endless problems. Even after we moved in the house nothing but issues( leaking dishwasher, plumbing issues where they had to cut the drywall all over again, electricity issues, air-conditioning unit doesn’t work…..etc)

I was so excited to buy a Lennar home! The process started out alright, but slowly went down-hill. The communication from the salesperson was lacking. The lady in the title office was rude. Then when I had my so called”walk-through” everything got worse. My house was not completed and the work that was done-especially in some areas was so shoddy. Very poor workmanship throughout the home. I’ve been in this “construction zone” for almost two months-Lennar is very slow at trying to make things right. They have fixed/finished some things, but now it feels like I’m being ignored. Even sending emails to company presidents falls on deaf ears. So very sad. This is supposed to be my last home-I’m retired and I can’t enjoy my home because of the poor quality of work that Lennar did and continues to do. What would I like other homebuyers to know about our experience... remove any emotion for the initial decision-making process and talk to the people that currently live in the development that you are looking at. If we would have done that, we probably would not have purchased the house that we did. Multiple people in our community have experienced or are experiencing what we are going through with the lack of workmanship, pride in their product, and responsiveness to issues. This was evident with the lack of communication and responsiveness through the building process, not having corrected any of the issues identified before closing, and lack of follow up after submitting repair tickets. ... Building process was not what I expected but the service after movein was, and continues to be, amazing.

You have made my dream home a complete nightmare.
