I am in the trade as a Plumber , the appliances homeowners get now seeing and using first hand are ver cheap for the price of the home. I have gone to new build apartment complexes and the washer and dryers they put in for renters not buyers are at least $1,000.00 each, but in general their appliances 8 out of 10 Lennar’s for buying a home valued at almost $300,000 - $500,000 2 out of 10. Some of the workmanship inside is poor quality at first look it looks amazing , but after living in the home and experiencing the workmanship it’s poor, especially for the price we pay to buy the home.

Absolutely love the house, great layout, perfect size, great location! Some workmanship issues that are taking a significant amount of time to resolve. Seems like once closing is done, Lennar writes you off...takes an act of God to get anything repaired! I closed on 12/23 and STILL have items that aren’t fixed. Customer service is not responsive! To say the least.

Started the homebuying process right when Covid hit. Our Home Consultant was great at adapting to the new safety guidelines and we felt comfortable in working with him. We hit some bumps here and there which was not one persons fault but rather the situation. We moved in about six months ago and have unfortunately had problem after problem. The construction manager has been excellent in addressing our questions and concerns in a very timely manner. All of the issues we have been encountering are due to construction quality.

The quality of the final product is above average. Multiple issues are showing up due to the poor job provided by contractors. The responsive time to resolve issues is also poor. It takes weeks before your problem is taking seriously. I was expecting better from a company like Lennar.

The service during and after the purchase was top notch, but the quality of work was not worth thr price. Things have been falling apart left and right, and while the response and warranty work has been quick, im 3 months into my purchase, and over a dozen claims. These aren't little things either, light fixtures falling out of the ceiling, closet shelves falling off the wall, major structure issues, but this house had a premium price tag under the guise of "luxury". On the outside the home looks luxurious, but living in the home is now a guessing game of what will break next.

Lennar still builds the best home for the money in Waxhaw NC, but they need to get their act together on quality of work and ease of working with customers. My main suggestion is always pay the extra $500 to your personal home inspector for a complete report even though its a brand new house.

Sloppy workmanship. While it is great that Lennar gives you a full year to file issues that you find with your new house and they would come and fix at no cost, I'd rather not have to do that. Especially on kitchen cabinets and outdoor paint job. These are issues that are easily spotted.

Multiple issues that took some time to fix. Slow response time. Paint is poor quality and they do the bare minimum. We moved into a smart house but it was a dumb house for a couple weeks due to no communication from builders and subs needed to hook everything up.

Overall good a experience. But critical construction mistakes were made which are being fixed. List: Leak in the foundation wall. Cracks and holes in the drive way. Lot boundaries incorrect (missed by engineers for lot 66 and 67)

Had a great time buying the house and love the aesthetic. The quality of the materials and workmanship is clearly low cost. Lots of little defects around the house that are noticeable. Responsive and promptness from the Customer Care team has been abysmal. Very difficult to get things fixed after you've purchased. Very disappointed with that aspect.

Be careful that you review all the promises that they make to you on the home. Review with the sales agent verbally any issues that you have and get them to put into writing any promises made. Review the extras in the house and make sure you get them when the house is completed. Find out exactly who will be handling any issues that arise. The walk through is important and put in writing what needs to be done and have their person sign for it. Verbal issues just disappear as does the rep they send with you. Make sure they review and meet with you to get the keys and the complex rules.
