Great experience. Great staff that is eager to help. There are a lot of little problems that need to be fixed after move-in so keep a pad to write down all the issues.

The entire buying experience was flawless right up to and including the closing process. In fact, based of the past weeks, it was the easiest part of purchasing a Lennar Home. Thanks to everyone at Lennar. Now can I get someone to help me finish moving in?!

Moving to San Antonio from Chicago and thought this is going to be my forever home but for some reasons it’s taking longer than expected to fix little things in the new built home, trying to have fixed before I move in and still no improvements of the requested repairs (sad face)

I am a first time homebuyer and the Lennar team helped make this a wonderful experience. They were attentive to my needs, goals, and ideas. Each department were available for my questions and concerns throughout the process.

We have built custom homes, semi custom and now purchased this package home from Lenar. With all of our experience with private, semi private and now this national large builder. Lenar has had the best and quickest follow through by far. Their communication is excellent, they show up when something is scheduled to be fixed. Since the homes are built so quickly your punch list after move in may be longer however they are very good with following through to correct anything that is not correctly done from the beginning.

I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. When this was expressed, warranty rep and supervisor probably worried we would back out, called people out ASAP to fix issues on the spot while we drove to our closing appointment. To my surprise, everyone left with all the work untouched and at that point it was too late because closing was finalized. Since that moment, I felt that fixing my house would become an issue as they can't schedule till weeks out and I did not realize what a waste of time it would become. I tried to be patient over the many issues I faced; MULTIPLE missed appointments, they give you a 8am-12pm appointment time slot, then sometimes don't show up. I spent many of my days off, waking up early and waiting on people to come. People even show up without an appointment on random days when I'm not home. Poor communication. Flooring people missed two appointments..but then on the third one they were able to fix the floors which was great. I did not use my main shower for the first 3 weeks after closing due to poor quality and holes in shower tiles. Painters don't take off shoes when entering home to go upstairs on carpet. I had electricians come fix my outlets and I asked painters to take covers off before painting and they ignored my request and painted over it, making it very unsightly. When I asked them why they didn't take the covers off, he laughed at me and said "its never going to be perfect". I don't expect perfect but I would hope for BASIC quality for the price of the house, not a giant outlet with goopy paint. I would honestly do it myself if Jake brought over the can of paint he said he would give me but never did due to a family emergency. I try to appreciate all the work they've done so far, but I wonder how things would've been different with better quality, efficiency, and communication. Cabinets are all dented/scratched, they touch it up and they still look bad.. still in the process of replacing some doors. The list goes on. Jake was excellent at addressing most of my concerns and responded in a timely manner, but he had a family matter with time off work and I had to resubmit all my claims which further delayed the whole process. What got me to write this review today? Another missed appointment and no communication about it. The homebuying process with Lennar was professional and transparent - two things that I found absolutely necessary in purchasing a home. They answer questions in a timely manner and address concerns with respect and clarity. I would happily buy from them again.

The whole experience has been Terrible! We were supposed to close in August. Finally closed January 17th with a five page punch list. Now March and still trying to get things resolved. Lots of empty promises. Quality of workmanship is horrible. Nobody takes pride in their work and Lennar accepts that. We expected a not more from Lennar when building a $472,000 home. Would not recommend.

The house is very basic, for my living situation this house is OK. The workmanship seems to get the work done ,but quickly. The house is an inexpensive house and you get what you pay for. The community is very pleasant and I am one of the first to move in to my area, but I really like it so far. My biggest complaint is the entrance and exit to my community, we need a traffic light. It takes just as long to get in and out as it does to get were you want to go.

Lennar responses very quickly to resolve issues

We built a Spencer in 2022. Was disappointed that there weren't more options for a seniors living in next gen suite. After moving in, we had several issues. The first 8 weeks we had contractors in fixing something. Thankfully the warranty request process is easy and Lennar responds quickly. Overall really disappointed with tge overall craftsmanship of a nearly $500k home. I would not recommend building with Lennar.

I expected a much more pleasant first time home buyer experience. There was a lack of transparency, honesty, and I wish the process would have gone smoother. I love being in my home, however, certain issues could have been communicated more clearly and handled better. Quality over quantity!

After 6 weeks moved in Lennar new home in Poway, still no mail delivered to my mailbox. Called Lennar and Poway Post Office and USPS services, this issue is not resolved.

Solid building of a plan that is excellent for 55+ active living. Minimal issues at 30 day inspection. Great management company for club.

I am more than happy with the purchase of my brand new Lennar home.

During our experience, we faced constant communication issues with our sales rep. There were times when we wouldn’t hear from him for weeks on end during the last few months leading up to closing. Our close date got pushed back multiple times which wasn’t an issue, the problem was that it was only communicated to us with little to no notice or until we reached out for an update multiple times. If there is one suggestion I can give to Lennar, it is to hire coordinators or customer success reps to facilitate updates and questions during the home buying process if the sales person is not going to take on that responsibility. ... Love my house and although it has only been a short time living there, I am pleased with the spacious rooms and all the extra items installed which no other construction company offers. In order for me to rate quality materials and workmanship, I would have to wait for a while. Everything looks fine now but would like to see with time if everything would look as good as it does now. Of course, taking in consideration of the wear and tear that happens over time.

GUICK RESPONSE TO ALL ISSUES. LESSER CONFIDENCE IN THE DESIGN CENTER, WRONG FLOORING PUT IN, HAD TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED, WE WERE TOLD THE WINDOW TREATMENT COMPANY CLOSED FOR 2 WEEKS, NOT TRU ACCORDING TO THE INSTALLER, HMMM???? LIVED WITH NAKED WINDOWS FOR ALMOST A MONTH, NOT GOOD

First time home buyer. Did not realize everything I would have to look out for. If I had thought to check some of these things probably would not have purchased this home. No faucet in the back yard to water my grass. I feel this should be mandatory, but what do I know? All the toe kicks in the kitchen are hanging on for dear life they will all fall off eventually. Had a minor gas leak that I did not report for a few weeks because I was told the faint fas smell near the meter was NORMAL, yes Im the idiot for believing that, this I do realize. Im sure there's more that I can't remember.

I read some of the horror stories about Lennar Homes and thought that it was just people that were angry over ridiculous nonsensical things. However, I can tell you firsthand that the finish quality craftsmanship is so poor and so unchecked they have no quality service control whatsoever. The house was full of so many poor quality finishing that I had to make a list that should never have had occurred of the poor, finishing quality of the home. I have bought probably 16 homes during my life and I even worked for companies that build homes and I’ve never seen poor quality control ever people get excited when they buy a home and they look around real fast but if you look at all the baseboards all the trims around the doors, actually look at the walls in the joining of the walls to the ceiling, checking the cabinets and the quality of the fitting of the of all these moldings and cabinets and the quality of the actual finishing product. Then you will see so many poorly done finishing that you wonder how they even sell any homes I’m trying to be polite here so if you want to have pictures, I’ll send you pictures of my finished home and everything that I am making Lennar do again to make it right it is horrifying and honestly I am aghast at how poorly this homeless finished good luck. There was no effort to make the new home buying experience nice. I have bought 4 other new homes and this experience was the worst by a long shot. Additionally, the quality of the home is very poor, from appliances to dry wall work to doors not closing properly.
