My biggest issue is the fact that for over 400k the landscaping company fails to put landscaping material down before putting mulch down. I know the HOA wants all residents to pull weeds and maintain the flower beds. If landscape material is put down it helps weeds NOT TO GROW.

Sales lady wasn’t ethical. Charges were not disclosed upfront. The townhome wasn’t ready at the closing. Struggling to get the paint issues resolved after 2 months of closing. Poor workmanship

It was indeed a nice experience

Overall the experience was terrible. Our Lennar salesman never answered her phone. Always rude when we finally got ahold of her she had no idea what was going on. House looks like it was built by a toddler. No attention to details, paint everywhere on outlet covers, my brand new carpet, windows all have paint on them. House was suppose to be cleaned before closing that was never done. Nobody answers the phone to get anything taken care of.

Lennar uses unskilled contractors and cheap materials, contractors and subcontractors don’t know what they’re doing and have this “I don’t care” attitude. Getting anything done or fixed or repaired is extremely difficult and have to resort to escalating to Lennar Head Office. Construction managers and customer service reps all make big promise, trying to get you to close sooner. As soon as you Close on your house, game over, Lennar won’t touch or repair anything. Lennar needs to learn to treat their customers with respect. It’s very difficult dealing with Lennar. I hope that Lennar, some day will learn from their competitors D-R Horton - their home sites are clean and tidy, D-R H uses good materials and their contractors do a better job. Go to any Lennar construction home site and it looks like it was hit by a hurricane. Lennar doesn’t even have security at their new communities, homes are often targeted by thieves who break in and steal from new homes or simply walk into any open homes and steal brand new materials. This has been brought up to Lennar locally and no one does anything about security. All they need to do is , have a security guard or a camera that won’t allow people with pickup trucks to drive into the new community after 8PM or at least take a picture of their license plate. Nobody should be driving into the community and roaming around at night and late at night , might night and past midnight. I guess Lennar upper management don’t care that thieves steal material and appliances from homesites, I’m sure it’s cheaper to hire a guard for 8 hrs at night at $10 per hr but Lennar won’t do it. Lennar used to have cameras with lights on poles in new communities with signs “no trespassing, video surveillance etc””. Lennar has removed all of that. It doesn’t make sense. ... More

I don't think anybody involved had any ill intent but I also don't think they care much. The new home orientation was a great experience. My best advice is do not close until every imperfection is handled. Also it was a disappointing amount of cigarettes left on my property.

The home itself is a decent starter home. However, there was lack of communication throughout the entire building process as well as promises for things that were not kept. Plans changed without relaying of information. We still are having difficulty with communication and the houses was “completed” 10/31/2022.

The experience was okay. Alot of frustration with lack of communication between the different moving pieces. We would see an issue and ask about it and the response was always, the inspections will show it and fix it... but they were never fixed. Now we have been living there a month and have submitted several requests to have things fixed under the warranty. We have had more no show appointments then actual people there to fix the problems.

All of the people we interacted with great. From our sales person Jamiel to the construction team, Sherri, Ceaser and John. All were caring and patient with all our questions. Again, Jon, our customer service representative always follows up on everything and makes us feel like we are the only ones he is helping.

Home prices are expensive than it should have been. I see lots of metal pieces and broken glasses in my backyard. I mentioned to clean it all but there are still there and now i have to clean it.

The mortgage approval process through Lennar was seamless. Great sales and construction leads.

The agents were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The house is beautiful. We are very happy.

If you had to put Lennar in the good, better, best category. They would be better. The price we paid was on the better side the materials used was occasionally on the good side. The most disappointing install was the cheap carpet that feels like cardboard. It’s a shame to spend over half a million and get carpet used in dorm rooms The building process has almost zero customizations. If you want an extra outlet, to bad. If you want to insulate interior walls, to bad. The window package is CHEAP. There are tons of upgrades available But they don’t follow new trends like black accents. The expensive upgrades don’t get your better workmanship either. I’m curious to see how things hold up over time. We hope to move in the next 10 years where the house will likely deteriorate. But for now the turn key new house everything included has been great. ... More

Materials changed and fixing issues gets pushed off or not addressed.

At the point of our contract on the home, there were very minor changes we wanted made to plumbing (adding a laundry sink in the garage) and electrical (like adding a few additional outlets here and there); drywall and insulation weren't up yet, and it would be a perfect time to make those changes happen. Our Lennar contacts Kevin and Missy were totally unresponsive; the answer was always, always "NO", no changes can be made, not even if we were willing to pay extra for them. I made multiple inquiries and always was met with the same response every time -- it was absolutely baffling, to say the least -- I'm buying this house, why can't I have it the way I want it? Now I'm having to pay electricians and plumbing contractors and tear into drywall to get done what could have easily been accomplished at the pre-drywall stage of construction. After moving in, our new next door neighbors confided in us that they were met with the same response, but were also told to "pay the contractors who did the original work under the table to come in after hours to get what they wanted done." Again, totally baffled by Lennar's approach. And while I basically feel confident that Lennar built a decent home, there are finish detail issues that have gone unresolved, like rough drywall mudding in places and needed paint touch-up. It was a mad dash by Lennar to get our house completed by their year-end closing date. When it was discovered only weeks before closing that our kitchen island had been placed in the wrong location and had to be torn out -- I'm still not convinced that the new kitchen island configuration is correct. And hardly a day goes by where I don't notice another irregularity with paint and drywall; small holes here and there -- you get the picture. And I'm totally shocked that the house included no lighting other than LED can lights in every room -- there's no vanity lighting in the baths, there wasn't a chandelier in the dining room, there are no lights other than cans in any of the bedrooms. And the placement of the can lights -- especially in the bathrooms -- makes it impractical or impossible to easily install any kind of upgraded lighting without a major expense and more electrical and drywall work being done. We were living in another state while this house was being built, and that made it difficult to oversee closely some of the construction details that eventually would make a difference to us. I advise anyone buying a Lennar home to watch them very closely at all stages of construction, and to not simply accept "NO" as an answer -- push them to the absolute limit to get what you want -- you are the one paying for your home, it should be the way you want it!! ... Great community, looks so clean

Great service, appreciate good and consistent communication.

Beautiful home at a great price. The quality in the workmanship not so good. I’ve only lived in my newly built home a month & have had to call to make a claim multiple times. Luckily there is a warranty & Lennar is pretty fast with addressing the issue & sending someone out to fix the problem.

Our sales person Jordan was great at getting us to contract and rude, pushy, and disrespectful as we got closer to closing. Our construction manager was friendly and responsive before closing and then dismissive and ignored us even in person after closing. Promises were made all around that have yet to be fulfilled. Very disappointing. After talking with neighbors, it is apparent the company's goal is to close on incomplete homes and move on to sell more rather than selling complete product. Customer service and client satisfaction are evidently not priorities.

Sales process was great, then color choices, tile, brick etc. became an issue. Forced to revert to other choices. Still trying to get little quality issues resolved in the warranty process. Slow to respond, some final inspection items still need to be corrected 2 months after closing. Not being negative, I just expect quicker, better service.

Overall home was completed in time and love it for the most part. Some materials used were very cheap and quality not great . Doors to my office don’t close properly , will end up replacing with nicer ones . Locks to from door didn’t work , nails left in roof , all windowed left unlocked , garage not painted inside fir a house over $630k my inside of garage looks like a toddler built it . Not painted , steps have nails showing , I will need to hire someone to finish . Landscaping not great will hire someone to improve and fix . Paint on inside very cheap .

My experience with Lennar has been a blessing and I am amazed on how the process was almost effortless and very efficient. Yuki and Jennifer the loan officer was very nice and responded promptly to my emails and calls. I, for sure don't have buyers remorse.

The whole home buying experience was incredibly stressful. My agent was hardly involved, never met in person, even though she was directly in front of me, and acted as if it was a favor to me to sell me a home; not to mention the actual bidding process is a bit of a nightmare. I used Lennar mortgage as instructed, that was another nightmare of lack of and or miscommunication. Now let's fast-forward to the walk through. The house easily needed another week to be completed. The closing was pushed due to COO wasn't issued. During the push, I had to coordinate and communicate with everyone at Lennar because God forbid they communicate internally. Now I'm closed, moved in, and have a ton of tickets and issues that need to be resolved. The post Sales team is nice and willing to work, but they seem overwhelmed, unorganized, and then my favorite, they will ghost you. The house is nice, but sloppy workmanship, minor and major issues, my garage door still isn't wired, etc. If I knew then, what I know now, I probably wouldn't of purchased this home.
