Over all I’m satisfied with my new home. I knew going in what to expect. Lower end fixtures and appliances, drywall work definitely not the best but about what I expected from a track home. People at lennar very helpful but slow to respond to minor issues. Never did get my garage keys and bathroom exhaust fan never has worked.

This was my second Lennar home in five years. However, the quality of materials and workmanship has significantly declined compared to my previous Lennar home. Lennar homes are beautiful and space is planned out well. Buying process was easy and not complicated.

Love our Retirement Home, but...

We love our new home & it is great for the price oaid; however, we had lots of issues due to poor workmanship by subcontractors & everything being so rushed. We were also lied to about a few issues. Make sure anything promises that is important to you (green space behind home, etc.) is in writing, not just shown to you on a map.

Make sure as a new buyer you are present for the final walkthrough and customer orientation. Purchasing our home from out of town meant we missed both and were behind the eight ball from the start. Quality seems pretty good, workmanship and cleanup left something to be desired. Follow-up for warranty issues needs to be improved.

I really like the house I bought from Lennar. Location is top notch. Finishing material is also very good. My experience with the sales team was also very good. Some finishing work is poor. Responsiveness is also poor. I have place a complain on a couple of electrical issues and never got anyone coming to fix them (or even to see what were my issues). Also my driveway, that was just done, is already showing holes on the concrete. Painting is bad.

I was expecting better quality from Lennard, but they use lower quality of materials, specially the cabinets and closets. I would suggest to reconsider and use higher quality. Just in the first month I had some problems with shower heads, running water on the tub, flicking mater bedroom recessed lights, and kitchen counter top on the big island. still have some problems, fortunately working in progress.

Buying the house was great but after the fact, hasnt been as good as a thought. Job was done very poorly and still to this day, my house is not completed. Workorders take forever to be submitted and contractor takes forever for the appointments to be made. Then, Lennar gets bought out by Century Homes. Not too happy with what’s going on.

Superintendent was amazing throughout the process, always responding to any issues we had during construction and post closing. The biggest issue we've had was as of just this week when I discovered 4-5 pieces of 4" long siding buried on the side of my yard along with a 5-7 10lb boulders in my backyard. I was curious why my grass wasn't growing so I started to dig and found those issues (siding crew didnt clean up, grating company did not notice the siding nor take the time to clear any rocks). Overall, a good experience but wish the yard detail would have met my expectations.

I a sense se are happy with our new home. The only issue we had is after you move and how responsive are the knolowgist. We have a lot of issues that still have not been taken care. For example our shower base in the bathroom we have on the master room came defective. A new shower base was put on but till this time have pass more than three weeks and we still not able to use it. The drywall and ceramic tile have not been installed yet. Our double blind was replace but the blind used was defective.

Disappointed in a few areas that you shouldn’t have to deal with in a new home. Still working to get many things fixed. Overall we love the home just not to thrilled about some of the issues we still have to fix on a brand new home.

The entire build process was great. Our sales rep kept us informed and although the lot we chose already had begun construction, Lennar allowed us to make several interior changes (floors, counters, and couple other items :) The one item Lennar MUST work on is their Closing procedure. On the day of close for our final walk thru/inspection, there were still 10 people inside working on the home! It is impossible to conduct a walk thru inspection to view potential deficiencies with construction still going on! Lennar should have pushed the Close by a day or two. Great Home... minor flaws... poor property grading/

I absolutely love my home and have enjoyed working with Chad Aycock and John Faircloth. Matt from customer care has been helpful too. My main issue has been with my property. The yard was poorly graded and the yards are not 100% sodded. This is causing erosion on the back part of my property. The poor drainage was causing a lot of standing water on my property and it took a few months for it to be fixed. The issue has been addressed and a French drain was put in. It looked great at first but the dirt is starting to settle and you sink down into the ground where they dug the trench... the ...

Love our new villa. Four months and still no answer on how to clean the stucco off sliding glass door tracks. Seven homeowners unhappy with same problem. Hope this gets a response. Super still trying to find an answer. Should have been fixed immediately.

We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.

Lennar is a big company and will push you around if you let them. Don’t let them. Workmanship is ok, it’s goibg to depend on the contractors they hire. Just make sure you keep track of things and don’t let them get away with poor workmanship. Full disclosure: Our house was prebuilt so we didn’t get that chance and your mileage may vary.

So far I have really enjoyed living in McQueen Landing. The homes are very nice and the sales and construction staff are friendly. I am glad I moved to this community and I look forward to living here!
