My overall experience was good. The loan officers worked very well with me. The sellers were ok. There were issues that had to be escalated. The end result was great. Kudos to the builders and management team for caring.

Hands down the most dreadful homebuying experience. I've lost years off my life with the stress and frustration of working with Lennar. 10x worse than a colonoscopy cleanout, and a root canal with no anesthesia being done at the same time. My house was barely completed, I was forced to close with a laundry list of issues, and I'm still chasing them down to fix things, having to take time off of work for items that should have been completed correctly in the first place. Closing was delayed three times. There's no coordination between the closing department and the sales/construction people. There are still a couple of outstanding issues from closing 6 weeks ago. The pool heater has never worked and it's a ridiculous length of time to get service.

Back Yard Mud Pit

We called out that there was water accumulation in the back yard that was not dissipating prior to purchase. It was listed as an exception to close. The water did dissipate some but not completely. This is a huge inconvenience as we have dogs and every time they go outside, when they return, the dogs muddy up the floor. During closing and after closing the Lennar Rep did make contact. This is my 2nd & last Lennar home purchase. The quality of the workmanship was beyond horrible this time around and this home cost was $90k more than the 1st one. I've lived in apartments where the attention to the builders detail way surpassed the work of Lennar & their Trades. They do not care about attention to detail. The communication at Lennar Title is also horrible. My Realtor and I had to reach out numerous times to get a closing date and time. On closing day workers were still working on my home. Very BUMPY ride

In the beginning we had a few hiccups but everyone was available and supportive; however the bad experience started on the first day of the walk/ through when I was told it had to be done on a particular day and many things were not completed in the home. Since that day it has been an unpleasant experience. I finally realized no one cares once you’ve signed on the dotted line.

I am not a happy Lennar Customer! Too many issues to list here. It's exhausting. Poor communication, paid way too much for the quality of the home--materials, appliances, workmanship, quality or lack thereof, slapdash finishes, severely poor responsiveness, lack of integrity and more. All of this wears you down and leaves you angry and stuck.

House 4 Sale

I never like making a post unless I am asked. I am NOT happy with the quality of my home - unfortunately it was the best deal in town. For >460k I expect more, I hate the following: small garage, small streets, inadequate storage and parking, and horrible cell /Internet Verizon coverage. I've been living in my home for <90 days and I have huge cracks in the walls - can lights popping out. Signed House 4 Sale when the economy gets better.

Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

Sorry to say but..It was shocking when it came to our knowledge that their are no towel hangers in any of the restrooms and no light outlet above the bathing tub in one the rest room.. is these are all upgrades included in Lennar planning/construction I think these are basic needs to be provided in the new homes. I have seen so many Lennar constructions but never like these..there are so many cut offs in the upgrades..I think it’s better to give options to the customers rather than saying everything included at least we can have some choices. And more over there are no bar top counter lights ...

Sales agent Eric is very good and accommodating. Construction manager Nick is very accommodating as well. Quality of materials are ok. The bathroom materials are ok, not tiles. Small things to be sorted all through.

Though the process was relatively quick the communication throughout the entire process needs work. I did have a third party inspection on my home and thankfully it was mostly cosmetic issues but there was a lot of sloppy work done on the home and some of it had to be redone prior to closing. The concrete driveway and sidewalks are sub-par and very sloppily done. They did a bad patch job where they chipped the concrete when removing the forms. We love our home but but the lender experience was terrible. It is too much to write, but they weren’t prepared with our paperwork at closing and we had to reschedule the closing to another day after sitting at the closing table for 2 hours. It was ridiculous.

We purchased our first home with Lennar and our sales agent Cathy was awesome! We love our home and the builder's responsiveness has been great. However, the quality of the materials is not the best. The workers mishandled a lot of the materials used and went to extreme lengths to hide the damage, but as I started cleaning, it became visible that these items should have been replaced.

My name is Luis, I can say that the salesperson who convince me to purchase the home was great. But the builder teams are awful, they don’t know respond to complaints in an appropriate way. So we just bought our first single family home. Good things- they stuck to time line and pretty much completed the projected on estimated time provided.
