Quality wise, defects everywhere, aesthetics and appliances, very different from the model home that entice you to buy. Customer care responds fast but after that the process of making things done/ fixed takes ages, I believe this is all experienced by most of homebuyers of Lennar sad to say.

Sadly, our issues that were in our walk through were not resolved yet and we have been living in the house for almost 2 months. We put so much money into buying this home it's sad we can't get stuff addressed in a timely manner.

When doing the pre inspection and the final inspection, check everything. After 45 days in this house I am still finding things that I missed on the inspections. We are still scraping paint and adhesive off the floors. Crooked walls, lumps of sheetrock mud in the corners. Beware of emails that show you how to use your irrigation system and you find out that an irrigation system is not included. Ring doorbell not included

Eric and Chad are the rudest construction managers I have ever dealt with. They don’t do their job properly and blame it to others. I have asked them several times to ask the construction folks not to parked in front of my house and block my driveway. They have argued with me and told me that they can’t ask them where to park! I have it on camera that construction guys parked there vehicle right in front of my drive way for over an hour and I have sent them the photos of the vehicles! They didn’t do anything. I am not very pleased with Lennar for having guys like Eric and Chad as construction managers. They are not qualified to be working for Lennar. I want Lennar management to talk to them and ask them for their rude behavior! I would never deal with Lennar anymore and would never recommend any friends or family just because of those 2 rude folks. They have argued with most of the community over small stuff. They needs to be removed from Lennar. They are representing Lennar and Lennar customers are running away from them. ... More

Have several issues with the grass the Lennar Company tells me that I need to call the grass Company but I purchased the house from Lennar not for the grass Company also have other issues that they haven’t help me I think personally they don’t care

I am grateful that everything is clean and brand new, however, the quality and craftsmanship is lacking. The large kitchen sink has the wrong faucet for that sink size, something like rinsing, the sink out is impossible, and it will have to be replaced. The bathroom faucet leaks under the sink when you splash water washing your face. Over 50% of the installed lights do not work properly. It’s so dim, it’s difficult to see for example cooking in the kitchen or putting on make up in your master bathroom. The backyard is not level. There’s so many large hole like ditches, I have rolled my ankle a few times, I was dismissed & told “it will level out” ? Lennar warranty company has been attentive to most of my request, but I’m told some of it is just them cutting corners and using the cheapest products there’s a garage door with no opener, in addition, there is no handle on the outside of the garage door to open it from the outside. These are just a few of the items that I’ve run across, However, I have not had any issues with the heating and air conditioning, hot water, sewer, etc. So that’s a very big positive. The neighborhood is nice and I look forward to having a clubhouse and pool eventually. I’ve not had an inspection by a private company yet so we’ll see what they say about the “bones” of the house. Overall the home is good, and the build is good, did not face much issues until now. But I am not happy with the customer care post home closing, even during the construction process there was always communication gap from construction manager side, He never kept us in loop on the progress, did not even notify us before drywall were put. I had to contact him to get pre-drywall inspection scheduled and the drywalls were hastily put in so I couldn't get the inspection done. After closing, there are pre-identified issues with the lawn and shrubs which are not tackled by the construction manager, and only response I ever got from him is "Yeah we'll get it done, you need not worry", and no action on the ground to "actually take care of the issue". Appliances are bottom line quality. Too many web sites. Should be one portl with one usr Id and password. Too many regulations. Why do I have to pay an application fee after a project is approved. Not very responsive to some issues. Construction manager and staff make promises and take too long, if at all, to respond.

The overall process was very easy. Everything was pretty much done online at the convenience of own time on my phone such as the closing documents was done on my phone, so that was pretty neat. I would honestly say that these homes are built very cheap. The materials and labor that go into the home can be so much better. It’s like they are instructed to get the cheapest materials possible for everything that goes into your home but charge the homeowner an arm and a leg for the mortgage. Other than that, my Collier home is a pretty decent home for a couple or very small family.

Our overall experience was going smoothly until our closing day. Lennar did not have keys to our own home and wanted us to sign off on the walk thru. It took over 2 hours to get our keys. We were diligent in our walk thru with the Lennar rep prior to closing. Point out defects that need to be fixed. 2 days before closing they still had not completed all of the issues. We hired our own home inspector which I highly recommend. Lennar’s warranty claim process is a joke. We have a one year warranty to report any issues. We filed a claim for the Ring Doorbell. This was a joke. The home warranty rep was of no help. We had to have the electrician come to check the wiring. The wiring was perfect. Then we had to contact Ring. Lennar did not tell us to call their dedicated Ring account. After several hours in the phone with Ring we were shipped a new unit. Ring gave us a free code to redeem installation after the new unit was received. The tech came out and installed the new doorbell and we were finally up and running with our doorbell security cam. This took us over 6 weeks to get resolved with no assistance from Lennar. Our second issue was with the pavers. We did not catch at inspection that about 12 or so are not exactly the same color. I am not sure if the ran out of pavers when installing ours and used some they already had or what. When they are wet you do not notice the mismatch as much. However when dry it is obvious. Filed a warranty claim again. The rep they have for warranty claims is a very. Rude and angry individual. He does not care about your issue. He told us we should have caught this at walk thru and it was not covered under warranty. I r Requested the page number from the warranty that states this. He then started being aggressive to the point we just had to ignore him. It seems from our point of view that the quality control at Lennar is minimal. We understand that been new builds will have flaws. However, when you have a one year home warranty from the builder it should not be a challenge to get it resolved. We do love our home and we have met some wonderful neighbors. Please make sure you check every nook and cranny at your walk hour and hire a third party unbiased home inspector. We were excited to be in our new house not until we moved in and started seeing a lot of issues. Half of the flooring of the entire house is messed up. A lot of issues from the finishing and the HVAC, mainly the most important things and part of the house. The appliances are all monogram but has issues already. Luckily the customer service people are really nice to accommodate me for all my complaints.And that’s the only consolation we get because Doug from customer service is just exceptional! The house is beautiful really beautiful, we love the floor plan but the quality and how you can feel that it was rush to get done is ridiculous ! The quality of the house is not worth of the price we’re paying for. I wake up everyday and I just feel sad coz this is meant to be our dream home.We never had a problem with Pardee which is our first home for 10 years. Easy to work with most of the time. Quality of home is extremely poor. Contractors need to pay closer attention to detail. Poor workmanship. The “integrity“ of Lennar is poor Would not recommend your company to anyone else

Came to colonial Heritage, probably higher expectations than I should have. Lennar was portrayed during the sales portion as a quality builder unfortunately, those expectations haven’t been met. I would have expected better than below average workmanship, which is unfortunately what we got.

Our salesman, Norman, kept trying to sell us something we did not want and, although, we were #1 on a house, we walked in on a conversation with another prospective where he was about to sell them the house we had been promised. We were just waiting for the house to be released to put our money down. We have had trouble getting warranty work completed. We had a private inspection done and some of those issues, which were supposed to be addressed before we moved in still have not been completed. One guy forgot the paint he needed, said he would close the ticket and reopen it when he got back so he it would look like the work had been completed. Work still has not been completed. Overall the experience has been difficult, we closed in late May and still do not have a mailbox and the address is not recognized by the post office or on maps. It has been extremely difficult to get furniture and other items delivered to the house. Our internet service took over 2 months to get turned on the house for the same reason as the service provider could not confirm the address to be true. I wish Lennar had waited another month or two before closing, moving in when we did has been a very unpleasant experience.

Some issues was resolved but other issues are present and no one has responded yet honestly it’s like I’m actually bothering them

Consider the cost of add ons you will have to purchase on your own to your purchase price ie gutters, window coverings, finishing the fence, etc.

Everyone involved was helpful during during buying process. After closing we reported two problems that have not been corrected. But we are very happy with the house and the location.

Our brand new home is absolutely gorgeous, however the level of workmanship, materials and follow through to correct issues is a disappointment. There is no way you will notice everything at your walkthrough or even within the first 30 days since closing. We have noticed cracks in bathroom floors, scratches in sinks, chips in floors, extremely loud garage doors, nicks in cabinetry, very low quality shelving in kitchen, only one shelf in lower kitchen cabinets, lowest quality toilets and faucets and sadly, so much more. Closets are also built with cheap wire shelving and every unit comes with an unfinished room or closet, no shelving in showers except in master bath and rooms with no ceiling lights. For the price paid for our gorgeous unit, you would assume that everything would be in tip top shape. Owners of brand new construction deserve better and should not be expected to hire contractors to take care of these items upon moving in, including outside decks or patios. ... More

Low quality materials used - especially the flooring Home came with very little- needed sprinkler system and gutters No towel racks or toilet paper holders There was phone jacks in kitchen and bedroom- need I say more I even had a roof leak first month None of their contractors spoke English But construction manager was excellent in responding to needed fixes

They have closing I had two dead trees, one front one and back. I have been dealing with a gentleman that is horrible. His name is KRIS I have probably 50 text messages of him saying they are going to replace both trees, but they only replaced the one in front, two days after I moved in I had Prince and Son evaluate both trees. They said they were both dead. KRIS be ashamed of his self not respond to his messages and now I have a dead tree in my backyard. I have been living here for over a month and my first water bill was $648 so yes I have been watering the property , they landscape the house next door. They went all the way on my property to my house and filled the whole side of the house with side on top of my nice green lawn and I still have one uncovered sprinkler head. I purchased my home about 2 months ago . I am just finding outlets that don’t work the molding is cracked and the shower drain isn’t finished. I could not be present for my final inspection because I am active duty military and I was away. I have been trying to reach somebody because I was never given a key to the pool area but I am getting nothing. I am so disappointed

Good price for san diego but keep an eye on quality. They build houses against the clock so theres lots of defects on the houses. Be ready to be patient with them and wait to see if they will help you get it done correctly after you sign it. They do not care of delivering good quality to new homeowners.

The only item that made this buy less than wonderful was the broken timeline promises and that was only caused by poor workmanship. Time and time again we had to postpone our move due to items that were either incomplete or poorly executed. Seems like pride in workmanship is a thing of the past in new built homes. Had things been done right at the beginning, we would have met our deadlines. Also, it would have been nice to receive some sort of follow-up from our salesman. Once we signed the paperwork for the purchase, we never heard back from him. The items that needed attention after we moved in have been resolved quickly. I walked into a home I bought online and when I did see it in person I was not happy, there wasn't any grass in the yard, and inside it's as if it was done by a someone in a rush and was cross-eyed, I woke up to a pile of ants and a few spiders and when I went to talk to someone about it was told that it's my home so I would have to deal with it, and this was after living in there for 3 days, a front driveway that has a crack across three panels that I still have to pay full price for, no back pad that I can grill on, cabinets that hits the walls and flooring that was done without care, when I first looked into this company, I told others to look into it and buy, now I don't do it because I do not want someone to blame me for buying from Lennar ...
