I had issue with my gutter directions. I complaints about the issue to lennar but they just manipulate my concern and instead of taking my request just said buy gutter extension but that is not a solution of my request i have paid about $500k for my home and there is big mess of mulch on my walk way to main entry after every rain . Resolution asked is to change the direction of gutters. As i dnt want to put extension because it doesn’t look nice and make my home mess.

Our journey with Lennar was a bitter sweet one. Our first visit to a Lennar office was met with a very rude and unprofessional agent who was very excited to sell to us and when he saw our DOB on our IDs quickly returned them and told us there was no home available and will be none anytime soon. We left and returned some other time with our agent to be greeted and welcome by an absolutely amazing Lennar agent, Ty. Tyrone walked us through the process and assisted in every step of the way until closing. We had a little bit of hiccups with the closing agents and loan officers over constantly ...

Lennar makes the home buying experience easy. However, after moving in to my new home, I discovered that it seems like hired contactors do not pay attention to details. Poor paint job....drips everywhere.

Look into small details.

During the turning over or congratulations ceremony pay attention to small details about the house. As it will be very difficult to ask for service after. It took almost a month to have the garage door fixed bec the RC was not even programmed and when we tried it totally didn’t work that even the wall remote won’t work. If you are not a busy person you have all the time to do all but if you have work and a busy person and rely for service it will take u a while of waiting for the service to be done. Same with the ring door it was fine but suddenly stop and again a wait period of atleast 2 ...

Poor workmanship, after closing problems not fixed

Michael and Joe say they will fix a reported problem but never follow through. Upstairs floor boards are creaky and depressed feeling as though your going to follow through. When reporting problems pertaining to workmanship of home the buyer is told that it’s a cosmetic issue and that it’s not covered even though it’s the fault of the builders. When buying a new home you should feel good about it and not feel that there is a mountain of problems. I live across from a model home and people constantly ask me about our Lennar house and neighborhood. I am at the point where I’ll be telling them ...

Great community and nice house

We’ve only been here a short time but so far we like the experience. The best thing about the community are the neighbors. We all want to enjoy our time here and everyone is trying to make that happen. Not much is open yet, but the community garden has been a great experience. We’re looking forward to the clubhouse being completed and activities set up. We’ve had some issues with our house, such as cracked sidewalks, sloppy workmanship, and “smart” technology, but hopefully those things will be corrected. Communication with management is an issue as well.

Attention to detail.

This is the 3rd New home I’ve purchased in the past 20 years. As a Military Veteran this was by far the worst attention to detail home I have owned. Wall outlets not all equal, carpets were dirty and full of saw dust. Professional cleaning not done. Walls have curves, windows not equal widths, air vents not in an enclosed bathroom, no air vent at the top of stairs where there’s a window. Pretty much these construction managers are slapping these homes together and not ensuring every detail is correct. For a $500K home, I expected better. Definitely not my forever home. Will look to a new ...

The buying experience was great but once we closed it was like they didn’t care anymore. The staff were super friendly and nice but issues identified prior to closing are still not fixed. The price paid does not come close to the quality you would expect. Walls are not straight, caulking is missing and not finished. Paint was messed up and told it would be fixed at the 30 day mark then was told they will only repaint at the 11 month mark. Best advice I can give is don’t close unless everything is completed because it won’t get done.

His willingness to listen and advise constructively is far beyond expectations of any manager. Loan officers Corey / Chris where always accessible they where very analytical and can really break down complex figures into bit and pieces. They are very Helpfull.

Lennar - We were super excited to close on our home in May.

We were super excited to close on our home in May. Lennar had attempted to move our closing day up a couple of weeks, which did not work with our schedules, so we left it as it. When we went for our first walk through, we shocked at the state of the house. Things were damaged. Things were dirty. We were promised it would be taken care of and ready to go. By closing day, nothing had been finished, including missing doors. We agreed to close since we had no where else to go. We were told the work would be done. It’s been two months at the end Of July and there is still a lot that needs to be ...

While the purchasing part was easy smooth and fun the moving in was the most stressful. I will explain why. I moved in with a lot of cosmetic issues. The paint was poorly done inside and out. Whoever touched up the paint did not use the same color and I have spots everywhere in the house. The guest bathtub had a giant Tiger claw scratch. The cabinet draw will not close. The dryer is dented as well as the microwave. The rugs had nails sticking up I cut myself numerous times. The painters left tape on lights and garage. A chunk of slab is broken off by the sliding doors. The weatherstrips are ...

It is what it is, but the build quality is barely good. The walk through I had some issues that were not addressed. It's a cheap tract home I get it, My concerns were only cosmetic, but you can tell the GC doesn't look after the workers and it shows.

Construction superintendent was absolutely unresponsive. In fact he never showed up for my walk through. He made nine commitments and never met one.I closed on the house on April 27th and did not receive house keys until June 19th. Still don't have closet doors.I intend to caution every new owners of what to expect when they move in.On the other hand the sales personnel were outstanding. They were responsive and really tried to assist in getting things done. However once you’ve paid for your home, the Lennar team severely lacks in finishing anything that needs to be corrected and fixed. You get stuck on a waitlist behind other already established homes. These were items that should have been fixed BEFORE I ever moved in. 2 months later I’m still waiting for corrections.

Well let’s see. I have no screens no fences no motion detector only one intake for air that had to be fixed a doorbell that does not ring painting that has not been finished and two awnings that’s have not been installed. What do you think. The home buying process was great! Getting anything done after closing and moving in is where the customer service fails. Don’t be so quick to meet the “demands of building houses”so quickly and focus on a good completed product. Would you allow YOUR family to live in a house like this with so many issues that are not attended to? I’m a nurse. What if the ...

Moving into your first home is supposed to be a great experience.A month in sewage backing up into showers ,kitchen ceiling is leaking and causing damage to kitchen.Doors either only shut with force, won't stay closed or can be opened from outside even when its locked. For a week or 2 I slept with my children at my parents because of the door that could be opened from outside while in locked position.I know new home will have issues but this is ridiculous.I report and told will continue to bug the individual that can take care of it.I don't see it as bugging when my hard earned money goes into ...

Communication response time and fixing issues is a bit lacking and I understand that there is an employee shortage everywhere but it should not take as long as it is taking to fix the issues I pointed out before closing and now rolling over to 30 day review when new homes are being built and being closed on my street. If those new homes are able to get their materials in, I don’t see why my home can’t also get the materials in as well. The home is great, I just would like a better turnaround time fixing my issues so I can fully enjoy my new home

Andy, our sales person, was great. We felt at ease with him during this purchase. We were disappointed when he was moved to another neighborhood because we felt we'd be out of sight and out of mind when it came to questions during the build. Andy still communicated with us regularly and advocated for us , even remotely. Unfortunately the person responsible for our build wasn't as good. He answered our requests and questions with answers he was unable or unauthorized to do. If we asked "can you do this...?" in our house, he'd say yes, then it wouldn't happen. When we continued to ask for ...
