Home was not ready for closing! Still waiting for items to be addressed 2 month after closing.

It’s very sad to get the service response and no good enough information shared ahead. I am following up almost two months keep o. Reporting issues but very few of them were resolved

extremely poor performance on Lennar's part. the house is still not complete two months after "forced" closing. now paying on a property that we cannot move into since construction is still not complete. no response or follow up on their part. would not recommend this company to anyone.

Slow response to service requests

We love this house. We are having a little bit of trouble getting the little imperfections fixed to our standards.

Finishing is very bad. Lennar should have been given more options for having the sun room or back yard porch. there is space which can be planned rather than making wastage.

The home got delayed about two months from the time they told us it would be ready. We identified a few issues during the final walk through and only one of them was addressed. We kept following up on the rest without success.

Harry was excellent in the purchase process . Always available and very helpful . The mortgage arm of the company very poor and the rep was not very knowledgeable and a bit misleading Once you start getting emails to sign things etc . this company will NEVER STOP BOTHERING YOU! Even after closing I was getting emails to sign forms . They want to sell not only homes but insurance and lending …. Just stick to home building and selling would be my advice !

The loan team were diligent and always very willing to help us as well as Jen the sales representative Who answered our calls and questions in a timely manner.

Lennar does not care about the home buyer. Everything they do is based on what is good for them. Construction issues that should have been fixed were just covered up. Floors slope, doors don't close, holes not patched. They talk a good game but don't come through on anything. We've waited nearly 2 months to get items fixed, including a leaky shower that will cause more damage. There is no one who respond to requests. The "client service" person has disappeared.

We had issues with the salesperson reaching out and coordinating with our realtor. He did keep us up to date on the progress of our house, which was nice. Upon coming in we had power pulled during the final walkthrough and the construction manager told us it was the electrical company’s fault. Turns out it was his fault for not paying to have the post replaced after it was hit by their landscaper. Got straight lied too and the electrical company informed us he called when it happened but never submitted payment to them for a replacement. Then called the night before panicking because it hadn’t been replaced. So our closing got pushed back 2 days on a cross country move due to them. The caulk around the floorboards looks terrible. Not like a new person did it, like a 5 year old did it. The paint literally wipes off the wall. They tote a high amount of return customers but I cannot figure out how. Not much got done after my walk-through and doing my punchlist, so I wasn’t really impressed with how the house was handed to me. However, the response with contractors and work orders have been amazing. The contractors are fast to respond and pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend Lennar and purchase another Lennar home in the future. Is it for

The house itself is amazing, some issues here and there but that is expected in a production home and community, Lennar is good about fixing anything we find wrong with the house. Construction managers Will and Adam are excellent in explaining everything and taking care of concerns. Sales is where I had issues, such as miscommunications, incorrect information, carelessness, lack of coordination, just to name a few. You need to be sharp and on top of everything regarding your home purchase, top to bottom and start to finish. Lastly, would I purchase again from Lennar? YES, absolutely, it is worth the money and the little pain during the process, but I have learned a lot from the process, plus Lennar is a big company and you can get a great deal if you buy at the right time during their specials. ... I'd love to share photos of the subpar workmanship throughout the entire home. From cracked drywall and ceilings, uneven and poorly installed crown moldings and baseboards, sloppy painting, unfinished lanai patio and concrete areas, cracked garage floors, doors installed incorrectly, missing towel and toilet paper holders, chipped tiles, and the list goes on and on. Check your included options on your contracts and make sure you get everything on that list before you close. This will be my first and last Lennar home. Lesson learned!!!

Simply stated, our experience has been dreadful.

My overall experience purchasing a Lennar home was not the best it could’ve been but not terrible either. There were items that I asked if were included and was told yes to only be told later it’s not included with the collection. I didn’t get an apology of incorrect information only an unfortunately which is not an apology. Nothing offered because of the incorrect info either. You have to continuously stay on everyone from beginning to any individuals in between to closing. I even received a phone call from the VP of Lennar mortgage in regards to a survey I left. I missed the call and returned it 30 mins later to not get an answer and I’m still waiting on my return phone call. Lennar has to do more than just checking a box. ... More

The people at Lennar Sales are very friendly and helpful. The Construction Manager has been very responsive to our requests.

If I could give no stars I would. From the second we filled out an application, the rest of the process went lower than rock bottom. We spoke to our finance person (Mary Jo) ONE time and that was after calling/emailing numerous times. I finally reached out to Ali (man in the model home) letting him know that we have been trying to get ahold of her with no call back. This happened several times as we did have questions along the way because Mary Jo NEVER updated us on ANYTHING. The one time she did talk to us she rushed us off the phone stating she was very busy. Ma'am we are all busy, so you saying my 6 figure house application to help your company doesnt matter? yea, ok. We really wanted this house and thats the only reason we proceeded. Ali was well aware of our frustrations through out the entire process. Finally our house was done being built and our FISRT walkthrough came up which went well. Of course, SOOOOO MANY missed things on the painters part, flooring, and cabinetry. There were several places that were not painted...at all..did not even have texture on them. Pieces of vinyl flooring did not touch each other leaving concrete underneath exposed. When we asked about it to the construction manager, Bart, he said there is nothing they can do about it. The cabinetry had several and noticeable scuffs and scratches on them. They said the painters can touch them up. about a month prior to the tentative closing date they gave we tried and tried to see about when closing would be and no one ever reached out to us. We spoke to Ali and he stated it would be a virtual closing. (made sense because our previous home was closed virtually) A week before our closing date they call us asking us if we could COME IN the next day to close. They said they dont know why they said would tell us we would close virtually. We asked for another day and they said they is the only time we can close. So now they inconvenienced us because we cannot just take off on our schedules like that without notice. We gave them a time and they said to come in and they will try to work us in. At this point, we were beyond frustrated and just wanted it to be over. We went in and never saw Mary Jo (who they said we would close with). Once we closed we went to the house to find about half of the touch ups completed. No touch ups were done on the cabinets and the paint jobs were sloppy (had drips on flooring and some spots were not painted at all). Of course we couldnt do a "Final walk through" before closing because they stated they are working on the mistakes found and no one knew when we would close. Also, Please check your fencing. They use a nail gun and on week 1 of being in the house the fence boards were coming off. We went and had to put screws in every one of them. My advice would be to use Lennar as last resort. I know these houses are thrown together over night and use different contractors for different tasks but if they would all just take their time and take pride in their work and not have someone always have to come behind them to correct their poor workmanship then they might actually have received a better review. The whole process of purchasing my new home was made really easy by everyone who helped me along the way!

I recently purchased a Lennar home at River place. The overall experience has been smooth. The sales executive, Tammy, has been responding timely. She has a wealth of information on hand, and guided us effectively during the whole process. I have had no issues while raising service request. The overall craftsmanship has been decent.

To many mistakes in the construction phase broken window glass and sliding glass doors to the lanai leaking water in the sink!!! Terrible

Very poor customer service. Very rude management.
