Very happy with the quality of our home.

The process went very smoothly I was kept informed at all times Whenever I had a concern it was addressed in a timely manner . My only concern was that as a senior citizen the virtual challenges we faced was not taken into consideration, which caused some frustration

Overall everything was easy and very stress free. From customer service to financing to maintenance has been great. The lower stars were simply about materials but overall I am loving my home.

We felt Lennar rushed in building the homes so there were lots of little mistakes with paint, drawer handles to shower glass doors not properly installed, etc. I guess this is what we have to expect in purchasing a newly built home. But overall, Lennar does a great job of building a very efficient smart home. You get a great value for your money. The on-site team are great and always willing to assist with any issues on the house.

Lennar is horrible. Offered an outrageous interest rate. Had us do a walkthrough when the house was nowhere close to being ready. Rude and unaccommodating staff. Extremely stressful and disappointing experience.

The most horrible experience, I have purchased many new homes this by far was the worst.

Have some exception items after closing on 11/23/22. As of today 1/12/23, still not completed. Even scheduled for work, yet never show up on time and causing us to wait at home.

Lennar makes a great final product… if it ever gets finished. Lennar forced us to move into our house early when there was a list of at least 28 items long incomplete. That includes broken cabinets and glass, holes in walls and electrical problems. We move in a month ago and have maybe brought the list down to 26 items. Lennar sold an unfinished product just so its management can receive bonus. Dirty business. Home once complete I’m sure will be beautiful.

We identified multiple issues throughout the process of the build, yet they were not rectified. Now we are stuck with a large inconvenience as these things still need to be fixed and the emotional stress of not being able to fully move into our new house. The house has to be repainted, multiple windows replaced due to improper installation leaving windows to not close, the conditioned crawl space was not professionally done, multiple finishing issues throughout the house, and the exterior of the house has equal amount of finishing issues and sections of concrete needing to be repoured due to wood and debris being allowed to get into the concrete causing it to crack due to water/ice expansion. Even the design is flawed, given we have over a 110 gallon master bath tub but only a 50 gallon water heater. Industry standard calls for a minimum 2/3 ratio which would be approximately a 75 gallon water heater (why not install a tankless system???). The mortgage/lending team were not familiar with the military or VA loans which was disheartening. I feel like I grossly overpaid, expecting a Lennar quality home that you’d see in other states, but received an “economy” build where you’d expect corners to be cut and quality to be poor. We bought our first home in SC with DH Horton and thought they needed to improve their craftsmanship, but Lennar has them beat two fold!! It was a negative experience commencing with the home orientations == closing had to be pushed back because of the inadequacy in the non-completion and sloppiness in construction, overlooking details we asked to be fixed and just plain ignoring before closing! The quality or lack of quality by the "so called cleaning crew" to make the house be cleaned correctly; paint stains all over the floors! One of the positive attributes of DH Horton is that they give the new homeowners a 10 month walk through were they fixed any cracks, nail studs that occur with the house settling. Lennar just cleans their hands and says "it's your problem now"!!! Although it may be stipulated in the "warranty", this should not be an issue to have this be part of what should be covered in your 1 year warranty. When you walk into the model, it gives you the illusion that Lennar is paying close attention to the craftsmanship and details, but that is all it is -- an illusion! We've had the same conversation with some of the other new owners, and it's always the same speech given by your salesforce "you have to remember these are not custom built homes -- therefore, you can't expect everything to be perfect!" Well, when you're paying in the $300's for a new home, we should have certain expectations as a finished product! PS: I rated a two star for "value for price paid" because after we bought our house, we find out there were 8 houses for sale for $40-$50,000 less -- how is that interpreted as getting a good value for your money! ... Over all my experience has been good. I want to say how good the customer service has been GREAT. Every time I have had an issue the response has been right on. I understand that everything takes time to complete. I am wondering when the fence will be finished so I am able to fence the rest of my yard. My neighbors all have dogs so I am in need of a fence. Maintained a great working relationship with builder rep and customer care rep after the sale. Very pleased with the concern by both individuals for attention to detail and response to customer concerns.

We moved into our house and several things still needed fixing! From painting, fixing a door that wouldn’t close to cabinets that have major cracks in them, under bathroom cabinets that have not been sealed or painted, caulking around one of the toilets to the master shower drain being plugged with debris and wouldn’t drain at all. That took 3 times coming 1 to see what was wrong, the other two times to “snake the drain” before it finally worked. In a nutshell it looked they they just threw it together at the end! We’ve contacted the contractor and site manager numerous times. Some things have been resolved but the cabinets won’t be replaced until March! This is so unacceptable! ... More

Where I can start? Beginning the mortgage process was a nightmare, they always give me a different number than the first time, at the end we agreed in the condition but was not that I expected. Then, the house build, they make me close my house end of November, the house was finish end of December, that’s crazy. The neighborhood is great and the house is beautiful, however the process was a nightmare and they could be better with us.

My loan processor Robin was trash. She asked for documents repeatedly after I would submit them to her and to the portal every 2 weeks. Don't believe anything the sales guy says especially when I comes to warranty, tiles popping up are not part of the warranty even though he said Lennar wants the homeowner to wait one year to see the issue once it settles. Home warranty is one year. Warranty reps are tough guys.....through text messages. Will never buy or recommend Lennar.

I recommend that the buyer actually visit the model they are considering. We didn't and were a little surprised about the size of the storage.

Post closing attendance has been poor. Problems has not been fixed after two month from closing. Special electrical problems and finishing problems. My experience has been that there is not a person from LENNAR that follows the solution to the problems. The responsibilities are avoided by appointing some other departments and the end nobody follows up.

Superintendent, Sales, and Financing folks were all very helpful and on top of it. Responded quickly to any questions asked.

its a great home

The title company was not great. No communication at all and subsequent communication after closing was non existent. important in time sensitive docs were sent to the original address. Wish we knew development has not been registered with Usps. There’s no communication of that either. So disappointing the tail end of the process and would rather go to a third-party title company.

You do get a lot with the new home. Fence, grass, bark, trees and shrubs. Good luck with getting timely responses and fixes to warranty issues. They could greatly improve in this area.

My home buyers experience was above my expectations. This was my 3rd time purchasing a home and it went very smoothly. My loan officer and my loan processor was exceptional. The only process that could have went better was my orientation and walk through. I felt like it was rushed because I had my closing on the same day, but all in all it the whole process was great! I have to especially thank my loan processor, she needs a promotion.

My experience was less than satisfying. At least I made it through the absolute train wreck from start to my 5 hour cluster of a closing experience and thought I could live happily in my home. But, NO!! Lennar didn't schedule a final inspection for the loan and out of the blue nearly 2 months after I close I find out they are threatening legal against me for them not scheduling an inspection??? This is beyond ridiculous!!
