In the beginning we had a few hiccups but everyone was available and supportive; however the bad experience started on the first day of the walk/ through when I was told it had to be done on a particular day and many things were not completed in the home. Since that day it has been an unpleasant experience. I finally realized no one cares once you’ve signed on the dotted line.

If your builder is Lennar, think again!!

I am not a happy Lennar Customer! Too many issues to list here. It's exhausting. Poor communication, paid way too much for the quality of the home--materials, appliances, workmanship, quality or lack thereof, slapdash finishes, severely poor responsiveness, lack of integrity and more. All of this wears you down and leaves you angry and stuck.

I never like making a post unless I am asked. I am NOT happy with the quality of my home - unfortunately it was the best deal in town. For >460k I expect more, I hate the following: small garage, small streets, inadequate storage and parking, and horrible cell /Internet Verizon coverage. I've been living in my home for <90 days and I have huge cracks in the walls - can lights popping out. Signed House 4 Sale when the economy gets better.

Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

Sorry to say but..It was shocking when it came to our knowledge that their are no towel hangers in any of the restrooms and no light outlet above the bathing tub in one the rest room.. is these are all upgrades included in Lennar planning/construction I think these are basic needs to be provided in the new homes. I have seen so many Lennar constructions but never like these..there are so many cut offs in the upgrades..I think it’s better to give options to the customers rather than saying everything included at least we can have some choices. And more over there are no bar top counter lights ...

Sales agent Eric is very good and accommodating. Construction manager Nick is very accommodating as well. Quality of materials are ok. The bathroom materials are ok, not tiles. Small things to be sorted all through.

Though the process was relatively quick the communication throughout the entire process needs work. I did have a third party inspection on my home and thankfully it was mostly cosmetic issues but there was a lot of sloppy work done on the home and some of it had to be redone prior to closing. The concrete driveway and sidewalks are sub-par and very sloppily done. They did a bad patch job where they chipped the concrete when removing the forms. We love our home but but the lender experience was terrible. It is too much to write, but they weren’t prepared with our paperwork at closing and we had to reschedule the closing to another day after sitting at the closing table for 2 hours. It was ridiculous.

We purchased our first home with Lennar and our sales agent Cathy was awesome! We love our home and the builder's responsiveness has been great. However, the quality of the materials is not the best. The workers mishandled a lot of the materials used and went to extreme lengths to hide the damage, but as I started cleaning, it became visible that these items should have been replaced.

My name is Luis, I can say that the salesperson who convince me to purchase the home was great. But the builder teams are awful, they don’t know respond to complaints in an appropriate way. In my case I’ve been complaining about my yard that has a fifthteen foot long and four inches deep water puddle (mud) for a month now. And I only been living the house for six week. No final walk-through

We closed on our home in November at the National in Ave Maria. Our final walk-through was scheduled with Stephen virtually as we are from out of Country and couldn't be in town on the closing date. We lost connection part way through the call so had decided via a phone conversation that we would do the walk-through in person after the closing when we were going to be in town. So we just bought our first single family home. Good things- they stuck to time line and pretty much completed the projected on estimated time provided. The mortgage process was fairly seemless till closing without much surprises. Bad: we were not allowed any choice whatsoever, even the kitchen units were selected by their sales agent and we were told afterwards. Home buying experience was ok. Our Mortgage Loan officer was Amazing and our job site Superintendent is amazing. However, the quality of this homes is cheap and with no taste at all. Materials are cheap, kitchen Granite is ugly, Master Shower is cheap and you don't get to choose any other details or make any changes to your own home. Appliances are cheap too. So you are paying $401K for $100K value home. Very sad!

Really bad quality of the construction and lack of quality controls

The builder does not have any kind of quality controls. One month after closing, we have experienced all kinds of plumbing and electrical issues, not to mention so many items not fixed since closing. The house is in a really bad shape, e.g. cracked window/bathtub/grout etc. considering the price tag. The service request is submitted through an online system. Once submitted, you will need to wait to schedule a remote discussion with a representative, who will then transfer the ticket, each step could take several days to weeks.

From the moment I met up with Cheryl, the salesperson, I was thrilled. Cheryl really listened to me and what I wanted in a new home. The communication was fabulous. When I met Dave after I signed to build my new home, Dave explained to me the building process and when I could expect certain aspects of the development. Every question I asked was addressed and taken care of. I have tremendous respect and admiration for Lennar Builders because of those people were here everyday to make sure that my home was completed on time and in such beautiful condition.
