Our experience with Lennar has been terrible. There was very poor communication throughout the entire building process. When issues would come up, blame would be cast on other members within Lennar with no sense of accountability. The work within the house was lazy. Our walkthrough with the warranty manager was the worst customer service we have ever had to deal with. We received many excuses that any issues were not real problems. We were told "well this is not a million dollar house." We continue to have to fight with Lennar for standing water and drainage issues in our yard that is being blown off and excused away just as was attempted on our walkthrough. Do not build with Lennar, they do not care about their customers and we continue to deal with their poor craftsmanship, our neighbors have all had similar issues within our community. Very accommodating in the process of buying the house

Overall, it has been a disappointing experience working with Lennar. We brought up multiple concerns during the construction process that were not addressed in a timely basis. As a result, closing was pushed back because they couldn’t get a CO issued. They fired their superintendent and we a new the week before the closing. To date, (almost two months post close) there are still a number of unaddressed issues on their “promise to fix” list.

Experience staff very knowledgeable. Contractor manager kept me informed on the process. There's still touch up that needs to be done but overall it's a decent community to live in.

Looking for the right adjective here. To say my wife and I are Disappointed just doesn’t describe how defeated we feel after waiting 10 months for our home to be built. From the lip service we received from our sales Rep (Les), who did not represent our interest at all. which led to my closing date being delayed sixty days and homes that started construction after our being finished before ours. To the poor craftsmanship that after closing 60 days ago, we are still waiting for resolution on issues to include replacing my flooring that was not square and kitchen cabinets that are damaged and drawers throughout the house that are missing parts. Trying to think of something positive to say about this build and i honestly cannot. I have built five homes over the past 30 years and this home is absolutely the worst. All I asked when we started was that you build the home like you were building it for yourself. Obviously that did not happen and the only explanation is that those doing to work just didn’t care. From start to finish we’ve had a great experience with Lennar. Our salesperson and construction manager did an excellent job keeping us up to date on the progress of our home. Prior to closing we met twice with the construction manager to make sure any construction or quality issues were addressed. A few follow up issues came up after we moved in and Lennar was quick to correct them (and followed up to make sure we were satisfied ). We’ve been in our new home for about a month and a half and so far things couldn’t have gone better.

Washing machine when on the spin cycle bangs the side The Dishwasher started smoking on the first use. The floors in the master bedroom squeaks very loudly as if it’s an old house. Paint on the carpet and tiles was told they be back to clean up. Of course no one came.

Very bad especially sales person and construction manager. They need professional trainings how to deal and satisfy customers.

Make sure when you walk through , you take your time.

Customer services after purchase is horrible. There's alot of issues with the new home. Submitted request only for Lennar to deny. Issues not resolved. -drainage issues -hvac issues -plumbing issues

It was hassle for to close my house plus finishing wasnt done properly. Last moment my closing docs was messed up and i opened tickets to fix issues.

At the time of the initial walk thru, there was no electricity, therefore we could not properly inspect the home. There were many issues with this home, that simply is unsatisfactory for the price we paid. We are still in repair mode and to be honest, I don't wish to enter ticket after ticket for items that should have never existed in the first place.

Not happy with the the customer service, 600K +, and the agent did not receive us on closing day , just left a text and location of our keys, our address does not show up on any maps …etc just a headache

My experience with Lennar was less than exciting and fun. However, I am Very pleased with my home. There were delay after delay. There were a few people trying to push and help but at times it seems that I was told things to quiet me. My overall experience was not fun and took the excitement away from the experience of home buying. The seller agent that was on sight? I barely heard from and I had to contact her for questions. Just a mess. But Overall I am happy with my home after waiting to close after a year and six months wait.

Timelines are not met properly, they are just building in a hurry which decreases the quality After move-in issues are not fixed on time and responses are not proper. The promise was made to install full house blinds verbally but now the salesperson who told me is not with Lennar and now they are saying he is not with Lennar and there is nothing in writing, however, my couple of friends/neighbors brought it up and got full house blinds installed. It's not fair to treat one customer differently than other. Tickets opened regarding home repairs, once moved are moving very very slowly. I still have pending work for my 1st ticket. ... More

Delivery was spot on time, despite challenging circumstances, sales team was responsive and supportive, home move-in experience was good... only problem is with the quality of the finish... looks like poor supervision leading to too many issues post handover. Also, ticket resolutions is painfully slow.

Yes, their warranty service is fairly quick to respond, but we have severe water damage every time it rains. We have torn the drywall apart in the front room three different times. The seams of the house were not sealed, there was a fist in the block wall about the size of my fist. This is rental property and we haven’t been able to put a single renter in after three months. I will not buy another Lennar home, the workmanship and quality are just not there.

The sales staff was awesome she really helped me get this home with a making deal

The Lannar team was professional, friendly and always ready to help and resolve any issues. A special thanks to Les in the model office and York in the construction area. Both these individuals were great to work with.

Best Walk Through experience with Brian. The minor fixes are done smoothly and further fixes are through QR codes and video inspection and all done without any issues. I think Lennar is putting technology in a good use.

I don’t even think there’s enough space here for me to tell you guys how horrible the experience was buying a Lennar home from the mortgage people that I am ashamed have access to my Social Security number to the workmanship that I am now living in a home that Hass to be redone. There was paint on the carpet. Things were not done complete walls were crooked. This house is been a nightmare And two months and I’m still waiting to have things done and planned to be fixed because I’m last on the list because I’ve already signed the closing documents.

The sales representatives were amazing and were able to answer most if not all questions we had. They really are a good resource to have. Construction on the other hand needs a huge lift in the attention to detail and pride in their work. Although not the construction mangers fault, and he helped out as much as he could, it was evident that the laborers were just there to go through the motion and could care less about the quality in their work because it wouldn't be their problem once they left, to list a few things: 1. We found garbage in our home, and we just closed on it 2. Painter tape on the floor, which must've been missed by cleaners 3. Blatantly missed blue tape items, some of which will never be fixed until I decide I'm sick of looking at it 4. Broken Garage door (took 2 weeks post close to have this fixed) 5. Broken doorbell (took 3 weeks post close to have this fixed) 6. Garbage disposal had a nail in it, which broke it 7. Hardware installed with lack of care (things are not level, and its very noticeable) 8. Blemishes on front and mud room garage door because they installed our permeant doors instead of using construction doors during the build. 9. evident that the cleaners never showed up... construction dust on counters and in sinks, no vacuum marks on carpet areas There's more, but what's the point? Would I build with Lennar again, maybe... The house is nice, the location is nice, the process was easy, but some things make me hesitant... ... More

Lennar was very helpful towards the closing of the house. they were flexible in supporting us in closing the house. The agents did a great job in understanding our situation and helping us during the closing process.

Lack of communication. Short on customer service.

We purchased a house from Lennar that was under construction with the promise that it would be completed in 2 months. We moved in 6 months later, after pushing hard at the end to complete the construction. We had two walk throughs and identified over 600 items that needed to be corrected. Nearly two months after moving into the house, there are dozens of items yet to be completed. The quality of materials in the house seem to be good, but the small things that we notice every day are what drove an unfavorable experience. We still have caulk missing, uneven paint, and plumbing issues that haven’t been corrected. Lennar seems to be trying but they freely admit Ocala is a new market for them and they don’t have a handle on the subcontractors. While I am grateful to be in a new home, I would not recommend Lennar to others. There is a lack of communication, coordination, and accountability within the organization that ultimately lands on the homeowner. ... More
