The floorplan is excellent and has everything I need. The quality of workmanship is okay but not exceptional. They have responded very well with any of my concerns or issues.

It was frustrating to not get a specific date and time for closing to arrange for moving labor. There was a succinct lack of ongoing communication between placing a deposit and clay of closing. All communication had to be initiated by me. It would have been nice to have regular updates weekly at least. The lines if communication between sales, mortgage loan officer and me were separate. Try making it a team effort to promote the 'Lennar' family. Additionally, Inspecid8cally asked if my loan would be sold and was told 'no'. That was apparently an outright lie.

They do not respond to problems quickly and the quality of the repair leaves much to be desired.

If I had to do it over again I would not buy a lennar home. After moving in There were many things the Builder overlooked. For instance, The builder over looked many times. After closing now going on are Third month still waiting on windows to be replaced above the garage. That the builder knew was wrong. Just one of the things that were not right.

This review is after 8 weeks of closing. Price is for the Lennar brand and I don't feel it's worth it. Pros: House Plans, Community, Location, decent customer service team Cons: Subpar Workmanship & Quality during the construction process. Poor finishing of concrete on the front porch and screened porch. Hole in the driveway exposing clay within a month of moving. Poor quality of LVP causing chips/dents. The dishwasher broke on 2nd week. Inadequate disclosure during sales by the sales agent and the agent goes AWOL after the purchase. Uneven flooring causes wide gaps between the floor and trim. Improper positioning of lights and switches. The cleanliness of the house and surrounding was below expectations before delivery. Punch items dispute and resolution with the construction manager was a hassle and still items were left out. Items on the plan were not delivered despite it being on the model home. ... More

The house itself is very nice, the warranty response has been good to great. The actual buying process was.... frustrating. We were frequently told to sign paperwork affirming we'd recird documents we hadn't received, then promised we'd get them later ("it's just a formality"). When signing the initial purchase agreement we were supposed to receive the HOA covenants and bylaws, we did not get them and we're told we'd get them at closing. At closing I asked about them to be told, "no, we don't deal with thay at closing you should get them when you move in/the hoa contacts you." We still don't have them and it's been almost two months. Closing was all online, and then they tell you to drive somewhere else where they give you a manilla folder of keys and shunt you out the door in 5 minutes. Very impersonal once they've got your money. The closing cost credits were amazing and the house and Floorplan are great, and I'd recommend lennar to others, just that your expectations of interaction with lennar themselves should be tempered, people are nice, service is (mostly) good, but don't expect to feel special or valued or like you've got much of a personal connection with anyone other than your personal realtor. The overall process was relatively smooth and pleasant. The sales team was very responsive and answered questions quickly, and once the closing was set, things moved very efficiently. Very disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and overall shoddy work in the finish of the home. All of the touch up was very poorly done. Globs of touch up left on door frames without being smoothed/sanded. When the house was shown on the "new home orientation," it was not very presentable. The cleaners did next to nothing to clean. There was paint on the floors that weren't cleaned up, nails left in the deck, and numerous other items that had to be pointed out. It's disappointing that all of the work seems rushed, and on top of that, there are supervisors and people around who should be checking this but seem to take no time to walk through themselves and get it corrected. I had a better experience with outside buys than with Lennar. I felt it was fine but wasn't great. I had higher expectations. I feel floor plan could have been better designed. They give zero options to modify anything. I feel their quality of features has decreased. They downgraded the materials they used in our neighborhood after few homes. They didn't include fridge anymore either. Also response time wasn't great for certain aspects of their mortgage and closing communication. We bought a model home 7 years after it was constructed, so we did not work directly with builders. Our construction manager that we worked with was great and help advocate for repairs that the property manager otherwise refused. Overall responsiveness to questions and concerns could use some improvement. You could tell that the company was just ready to offload the property as quickly as they could.

Total lprocess was long and no much communication from sales representative. Deadline for the house was, 2 months late, home is built very sound but the fine craftsmanship details are not there. I love our house and community with all the issues being taken care of.

The workmanship is great..but there are things you’re going to have to do yourself. Like seal the flooring and counters. They don’t do that. Communication between departments is horrible. Never received the last cleaning before move in. Lawn wasn’t mowed. They don’t line the flower beds so weeds are in them in no time. I had a service call and then they put my house on a second one. I emailed and let them know I didn’t place a second call…..crickets. Just spam me with docuSign. HOA wasn’t even informed of my move in. They didn’t provide me with any final documentation that I signed. Definitely just in this to make money and move on. Aka service sucks but the home and price are good. ... More

The assistant foreman for our neighborhood (Michael) is wonderful he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of to the best of his ability. We closed with unresolved issues. That’s on us, however, we had no where to go since our home sold and closing was the same exact day that we were scheduled to close on our new Lennar home. That day was a nightmare. We signed a contract on a house that was 97% done and still almost didn’t close because they waited until the very last minute to do things. The grout in our wet areas are stained with red mud pretty bad. We let that go. The grout work itself was subpar at best. There are several other issues but again we had no where to go. The biggest issue is Lennar cuts corners where they shouldn’t. They put 1 stage units in these homes that are not for a climate like ours. Our home had 70% humidity. The AC people came out and basically rigged the unit to run longer somehow. Now we set the temp at 73 and it cools to 71 and that was their fix. We tried to address with Lennar but it’s on us now. 2 stage units are always recommended for humid climates if not variable speed units. We didn’t think to even check this as we had a Breland/Lennar home in Madison and they didn’t do this. We had a nice unit that worked as it should. Beware, after the sale, you are SOL in what could be a potentially harmful situation later just because they want to line their pockets a little more. ... More

OVERALL GOOD. COMMUNITY FEE DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE. I MOVED 2 MONTHS AGO. PARK IS NOT EVEN STARTED YET AND I AM PAYING COMUNITY FEE SINCE i MOVED IN ADVANCE FOR 6 MONTHS.

What was supposed to be the house of my dreams has been filled with problems and average workmanship. The house was finished three months early, this should have been my first sign. Small details like the exterior and interior paint, carpentry, and the crumbling of my garage top the list. I requested a delay in closing due to surgery but no one responded. Then on the day of the closing, two hours prior, we were informed that Lennar postponed the closing due to an issue with the loan officer.

All mortgage documents are done online which makes it an easy process and accessible for future needs. However, dont expect a quick answer or one at all if you have any questions regarding your mortgage. I noticed a lot of finishing mistakes (nail pops, nail holes, no caulking, paint overspray) in the house that were pointed out during the walk through but never fixed. Overall good experience.

Dishwasher was leaking and Lennar couldn’t help because it was an appliance. Had to go through GE and their insurance company, very annoying situation when I have a brand new home.

Lennar mortgage and their ability to buy back percentage points of interest is a only way I could have purchased a new condo.

Our new home consultant was fabulous. Our loan folks were helpful and on top of things. Our issues started with the walk through and the builder. We did our first walk through a week before our closing date to make sure that items were addressed prior to closing. With our final walk through, nothing was addressed from the the week prior. So when we closed and moved in, we had people coming in an out to do work. The lady who did our walk through and orientation disappeared on us after telling us she would in touch to help get our issues resolved. We finally had someone new assigned to help us, but not without us reaching out constantly for answers. Hopefully nothing else major comes up and the house stays intact for the next couple decades. ... More

The home was what we were looking for. The sales team was great for the most part, had to reach out for confirmation a few times, no biggie everything was worked out. The workmanship of the home is not that good, noticing quite a few defects on the walls, ceiling, door frames and doors. Lots of over spray from paint left on the floor. Should have been more observant, but we were so excited about new home purchase. Some issues were turned in and responsiveness was good. First time work was done on one issue they had to return as work was not up to par.

We picked a Lennar home because after looking at all of the builders in our area (and there were a lot!) We loved that Lennar's homes include everything and have a more upgraded feel to them. However, since living in the home, we do feel the actual quality is lower than our last home we lived in. We've had multiple cracks in the baseboards, some little issues with the towel racks and faucets and just a handful of small things that are a bother considering how expensive homes are and considering we thought Lennar was the best after looking into many builders. The good news is, the warranty has been VERY good to work with! They are quick to respond and easy to work with. Super kind and considerate. The closing was not pleasant but they do make it affordable and the houses are beautiful. The builder does fix issues pretty quick once moved in. Some of the quality is pretty good and some could use some improvements.

There are lot of repairs and replacements left before closing. And its tedious to follow up on these things. The builder is responsive but many things were listed. And the quality of material is not up to the grade. its been only a month we move and I see cracks. Even the reporting issue is not fixed properly.

Sung excellent; Ally excellent; walk thru missed gas stove connection, wall coaxial damage, refrigerator water hose kinked; electrician on breaker box number does not return phone calls. Facia-soffet poorly done Gaps openings

We love our home. However, the buying experience was a bit to be desired. The marketing materials when buying our home mentioned several smart devices that come with the homes. When we asked why ours didn’t, we were told they recently stopped providing them. However, all of our neighbors on our block received them. This makes it hard to know what to believe and put a bad taste in our mouth when moving in. These types of things should be communicated much better to avoid false expectations. Communication on remaining exterior work was also non existent and made it hard to anticipate. Overal, it was a 3/5 star experience. The homes are nice but you have to go through a lot to end up with a finished home. ... More
