Overall, the home buying experience was ok, it was after and the issue I had was getting creditors checks to pay my bills; it took 3 months....very unacceptable. Messages were not returned from the office on 410 and Jones Maltburger, I feel I was just ignored.

So many things were requested after the inspection but not fixed before closing but was told it’s taken care of. Bit good thing is that they took care of it when I showed them those issues after closing. Your mortgage was very high in interest and for some reason felt like they were not interested in my business.

My garage and driveway had poor workmanship.

The only experience that was good was working with mortgage department, they were great. Sales office was not responsive to concerns after I signed contract. Koral told me after I signed that water was expensive here. I moved in 8/28 and still do not have sod and neighbors who moved in after me, like next door neighbors already have theirs. There are a tremendous number of homes that have sod, they haven’t even brought on new base dirt or leveled my lot. The final walked through the house was filthy, mud in garage, trash (including beer cans in back yard), the concern about under kitchen sink never resolved, and I have had a couple electrical issues lately. ... Landscape issue not fully resolved as reported before moving in, which should have allowed for down pmt to be refunded. Pressured to close. Hoping that community involvement will make the home buying experience worth the investment. AM grateful for having been offered a reduction in price to accommodate seller motivation to complete present development.

I like the house but so many things are done to save a penny versus making it a true quality product. The yards are beyond terrible and they could have at least made them a bit usable if even just making the sides nice. They left a ton of garbage in my yard. The fact that they ran laminate flooring only halfway across the room and carpet on the other half is awful. Again just cheaping out of quality. Using plastic instead of metal in all the drawers (why?) why a double seat fiberglass shower? It leaves now room. Again must have been a bargain. A simple shower would have been more useful and nicer. I like the house but quality is not what they are going for it’s strictly cost. ... More

The home that I bought is gorgeous. I am a first time home buyer so I admit I do not know a lot about what to expect when buying a home. The experience of working with my lender was awful. I was signing things that he told me he would fix the mistakes later and then he tried to change my rate after we were locked in. I feel that even after buying my house people acted like I was a nuisance when I would text to get updates of scratched windows (which one of them is still scratched and I have heard nothing). Overall, the Lennar home is beautiful, but the customer service was lacking.

Lennar functional teams use different portals. You have to enroll each of them. Each portal looks different. It makes homebuyers confused. It is very hard to know what action you need take what docs you need to read. I have never experienced this type of digital chaos. Personally I love digital process to handle complicate real state. Lennar should use one portal to proceed selling, even prequalifying evaluation.

Blue taped items not fixed before move in. Plumbing full of gravel, caused dirty water to leak from toilet and submerge bathroom. Was initially given wrong keys and neighbor was given my keys. Garage was dented and refuse to fix Can hear neighbors talk through shared walls.

Attention to detail is extremely low. Didn't clean, paint on carpet, walls not smooth and in some areas not even painted. Outlets and outlet covers not secured. (But the electrical was inspected right? lol) They put the hose bibs in the dumbest locations. The one on the driveway side is at the back of the house... Some design engineer isn't too bright there. Flooring is not flat in all areas and the floor squeaks in spots like it's 30 years old. Zero customization is stupid. Expecting people to spend half a million and have no say in how the home is finished is embarrassing. Very true that once the purchase order is signed the customer service drops. Lennar is very much a money hungry company who hires average vendors to do a very average or less than average job. Cheap materials are definitely used. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone as a forever home. ... More

The team of staff that made sure the COE is met on time on its deadline did an excellent job that helped me move in. The staff that provided the keys, instructions, etc were great. The stressful disappointment start from Lennar customer care completing issues requested. The resolutions were not acceptable. Please just refer to my requested completion of issues. Second to this is not being provided recycle and trash bins by Republic services going on 6 weeks now. I have been living for so many years in CA and never did I experience this sloppy delivery of service.

Very unpleased with how things turned out for what we paid. After close it became evident the craftsmanship in the molding in the “Designer Plus” package, the drywall work, and painting was not what I expected for the price we paid for the home. It’s evident Lennar is focused on turning and closing homes quickly and letting many of the details go by the wayside. If I could do it over again- I would pay more money for a smaller builder who cares about more than a buck.

Overall we are happy with our home. There are a few things that we’re not happy with. Our back yard is an issue with ground being uneven and over ran with weeds. There’s a few odd ends through out the house that we are not 100% pleased with. But, for the most part we are happy. The HOA definitely needs some rules in placed and I would like to see more landscaping in the entrance. The kids park needs a few things and better up keep. But I’m sure these are things can be addressed as the neighborhood gets older.

Overall construction is good but there are a few like Landscaping, and final cleaning which were worst. Things that are blue-tapped for repair are also not addressed before closing.

Very disappointed in Lennar Sales Rep. and rushed craftsmanship. When being shown the house and we asked if we could put in an offer, the sales rep answered,”you can but if it gets appraised for more you’ll need to pay the difference at closing” this dictated how we proceeded. Just recently we learned we were supposed to be shown rates. We were never shown any. Lying to first time home buyers so a Lennar rep. can squeeze more profit for them self’s is disgusting and I’m appalled that’s what y’all stand for. We trusted our Lennar sales rep. and got taken advantage of! She screwed us out of thousands of dollars! FYI after closing the same exact house was priced for $10,000 less than we paid online. A lot of issues with quality, splitting wood in the fence, nails falling out of the fence due to warped wood put in, paint splatter on floors. concrete splatter all over walkway and by garage, every single hinges creaks, damaged door to dryer, wholes from re drilling, random holes in concrete between home and walkway, chip on porch, uneven painting on porch pillars (from rushed hand painting), super uneven. A couple more thing to add we are in an HOA with no place to put our trash cans except back yard or garage. Also we were given a flyer informing us on the school that we were zoned for. This had a huge impact on why we moved to this neighborhood. Turns out it was not the correct school. We were also told only TXU was the only energy provider here which was also not true. Make sure all issues are resolved prior to closing, because once you close issues are never resolved. Also make sure they clean inside and outside before you close. Pay attention to detail because painters are sloppy.

The loan process was smooth and professional. The sales agents at Lennar were horrible and unprofessional. The build side of things was ok, however the quality of the products used very low quality. The carpet is extremely thin and the paint is horrible.

During our home buying process we were met with nothing but difficulties in communication. My wife was due to deliver our first child and we needed the closing date moved to a later date. Every request was denied. Only after reminding the sales team of federal protections around medical conditions did they move the date….. one week back. During the walk-through, we found many issues with Sheetrock finish work, and even one wall was 4 inches out of plumb. The work quality on the construction displays the lack of care from the builders. After one full month of being in the home we have found more than a dozen nail pops that we have been told they will not repair. We’ve had a plumbing failure that took a week to repair. We a number of floor squeaks that have been assessed but no one has come to make repairs. Customer service comes second to making a profit. Poor, poor, poor customer service. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone. The only reason we did not back out of the purchase was because we were old have lost our deposit. ... More

While writing contract & Signing it, I clearly mentioned i am buying on my LLC and all parties agreed and signed. Just 5 days before closing, they said, we can not give you on LLC as per Lennar Policy, i need to authorize and title can be on LLC. Since only 5 Days left, i un willingly accepted. But then Just one hour before closing, they said i can't have title on LLC, What ....!!! this is how you guys deal with. Construction Quality: Pros: Good Quality Construction, i appreciate that. Cons: While closing walk through, we did identified minor things, they agreed to fix, but they did not fix. when i asked, since its closed, they had lot of procedure to follow up and the guy who agreed to fix not honoring his words. I don’t like construction manager updates

I was familiar with lennar homes because family members had purchased homes with lennar. However the buying experience was less than ideal. The selling agent, lennar lenders, title company... none were on one accord. We kept getting conflicting information regarding the closing date, what we needed to close, etc. Once we moved in, we realized that issues that we were told would be fixed before closing had not been addressed. The stove did not work, a piece of the refrigerator was missing that was present during our walk through, the kitchen sink had scratches that were not present during the walk through. The interior paint has splotches and random paint drops on the floor and glue on some of the tiles that we have not been able to clean off the tile, and some cracked tiles. The grout on the floor tiles are different colors, and when it rains the sliding glass door leaks. These are just some of the issues that we have noticed so far. We plan to have a warranty inspection done soon to see what other issues there might be, although I am not holding my breath that the "warranty " will apply to these issues. Also, we were charged for electricity and water bill for the three months prior to closing (refund still pending). Overall, this is not the experience that I was hoping for. The only positive thing is that the neighborhood is gorgeous, well maintained and quiet. Hopefully we will be able to fix the problems with the house without too much of a hit to our budget and eventually make it feel like home. I would recommend checking out the other builders in this community, but would not recommend lennar. ... More

I had a lot of issues with the house they promise everything was going to be fixed by the closing date, then a month after still issues. I understand you built a lot of houses at once but you can’t turn your back to quality and good finishes. This is my second lennar I don’t think I’ll have a third one
