If I could give negative points, I would put -5 points...From the beginning all the process have been a nightmare...The sale representative was completely unprofessional, I didn't receive any information from her except to the closing day when She was pushing me to sign the closing agreement but the house wasn't ready yet (No Gas meter, so we couldn't test the range, water heater and dryer). Then, during the final walk-thru we discover at least 20 issues that needs to be fixed before the closing date, but they didn't do it. Now, I request a warranty services because a couple issues in my house but It was a nightmare as well. I wouldn't recommend to a friend or family buy a Lennar House in this moment. Bathroom shower tile horribly done. Every door way is not square. Carpet was installed with gaps in the carpet pad. Drywall finish poorly done in various areas. Paint overspray on cabinets. Damaged cabinets installed. Trim work done incorrectly. Exterior was left with siding shims in place. Areas left painted.

Lennar has made the home building/buying process go very smoothly overall. The sales consultant was easy to work with and communicated well. The home was built on schedule and the home orientation procedure was excellent. Lennar has been very responsive to what few issues have come up since closing and move in.

I just purchased my home. The Home has a few nuisances but overall happy with the workmanship and especially how fast they are putting these houses up. The customer service after the closing is the problem. I cannot reach the service or get a call back from a trouble ticket. I put 3 trouble tickets and I might just have to fix those items myself. Leak in shower doors, empty grass spots and lights dangling from the ceiling.

We previously build a new construction home with another builder a few years ago so we were familiar with the overall process heading in. Our Lennar sales experience was good, but when it came to the construction team it was a different story. The primary construction manager that we were assigned, house issues / items aside, was very rude and unprofessional. This was very disappointing - especially considering customers are spending $800k. The quality of the material is okay, but the craftsmanship and installation is poor and careless. Felt like we had to fight, argue, and prove a point to add issues to “the list” to get addressed for repair / remediation. Need to drastically improve quality checks prior to customers pointing out issues and appoint qualified construction staff. They want their customers just to give up and deal with it on their own - and pay out of pocket. Poor oversight, follow-up, and setting proper expectations for your customers - especially going back to what you’re getting for your money. ... More

Clearly our home was not ready when we closed. In good faith we closed. Our patio took a while to fix, there was a leak in our bedroom that went undetected and there continue to be myriad issues that are detected but fixing has been mighty slow. The reason we picked new construction is we wouldn't face issues like this but we continue to run into problems. We are disappointed.

This is my first time home owner and I loved the entire process of my home getting build. There were few glitches during the entire cycle. But I guess after sales, maintenance team specifically Kevin is awesome. He takes care and understand the real concern and helps residents get solution easily and effectively. Kevin is the only reason I have gained confidence in Lennar homes because whatever open issue were after move-in, he is helping us knocking off one by one.

Everything was awesome.The neighborhood is a excellent place to live.

Lennar is a large company and grew to that size by being forward-looking and developing systems and processes to accomplish home-building and selling to satisfy the majority of their customers. Besides meeting local codes and working within a difficult economy and supply chain, they manage to accomplish this while keeping their prices in line and delivering a home in a reasonable timeframe. Having said all that, I am 95% satisfied with my new home. The floor plan I chose is time-tested and made with decent quality materials and components for the most part. Minor items like the dishwasher, carpeting and paint can be upgraded by the homeowner later to their own tastes as I did. The major components (HVAC, electrical, framing, roof) are all excellent. And I have no worries as a buyer because of their 1-2-10 warranty. Lennar has an excellent system and staff to address minor warranty issues for new homeowners and they do follow-up and make sure things are right. As with all large companies, the quality of their product depends on individuals. Most of the Lennar employees (not all) that I dealt with are very at their job and do focus on taking care of the customer. I WOULD recommend them to family and friends. ... More

Everyone has been very friendly and responsive and reasonable. They genuinely want us to love our new home. And we do!

The house is great and the process was relatively painless.

The communication during sales and construction were very good. The closing experience was not good.

From the sales staff to the construction manager to the post closing customer care rep, all have been very helpful, professional and responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend buying a LENNAR home.

Great experience, patience is required for a new build. First time buying a newly built home.

Had a lovely, attentive, and thorough homebuying experience with Hyatt and would highly recommend him. The only detail I’d call out is I didn’t learn about the required solar lease/purchase until I had already made a purchase decision. If you appreciate detail you may have a frustrating first few weeks (maybe months) trying to get issues fixed. Missing network outlet, subfloor squeaks, sheetrock mud embedded in carpet fibers, broken shower tile, uneven tile, broken recirc light and the list goes on. I am still working through tickets that have been open for over a month. If you buy with Lennar be sure to be as thorough as you can on pre-close walkthrough. They say there’s no need to worry because you have a year warranty if you don’t catch something, but if you don’t they lose incentive to fix it in a timely manner and you will be left managing open tickets when you’re in the home. With that said the price the price paid made this a great value and I don’t regret the decision at all - would do it again. My home buying process was a complete nightmare. Initially the process was quite easy, but as we were getting closer to close escrow, there were a LOT of mistakes made on Lennar's end, lack of communication, and extremely inefficient. The quality of materials used was not the best, and the workmanship was poor. Even when I caught issues that needed to be fixed during the walkthrough, there were several items that were never fixed and I either had to fix them myself or go through the complaint process which prolonged even more. I would not recommend Lennar to purchase a home.

Overall, I am happy with my home. My salesperson Matt was awesome - he went above and beyond before and after the sale to ensure my needs were addressed. There were definitely some corners cut and some of the materials were on the cheap side, but I would surmise this would be true of any large corporate builder. I did not have the best communication from the construction manager, which impacted the level of trust I had in the work and quality. Since closing, the Lennar team has been very helpful and responsive to identified issues and have addressed them in a timely manner. I wish greater attention had been paid to community landscaping in the builder's plan, as our section has minimal landscaping to beautify and add to privacy between lots. Overall experience was good heidi at lennar mgt and Jordan were outstanding Biggest complaint is the lack of paying attention to details. Paint overall was less than satisfactory Railing finish work was sloppy . In both cases more care was needed to provide a better finished product. Carpentry was satisfactory but again little things like sanding mitered edges before painting are things you just expect to be done Perhaps a review of subs is in order Second lennar purchase so pleased with the builder but expect more quality finish work given the price point

Our condo was completed in less than a year which we were pleased with. What I'm not so pleased with is we were left with broken bi-fold doors, a dishwasher and garbage disposal that hasn't worked since day one and still isn't working. Our outside storage unit wouldn't lock with the keys that we were provided so our outdoor stuff could have been stolen while we waited more than a month for it to be re-keyed. We also weren't pleased with the follow up from our sales rep, he was very unresponsive throughout the process. We have put in trouble tickets to fix the problems that are listed above, I would be surprised if there is any urgency in fixing them since we already own the condo. ... More

Lennar is nothing special. They claim to strive to build all homes as good as the model, but that's not the case. While the structure itself is good (according to our home inspector), the quality of everything after the drywall was installed is sub-par at best. Lennar throws these houses together and doesn't care about the finished product - they just want to get on to the next house so they can get paid. The lack of attention to detail by these tradesman is insane, and furthermore the fact that we had to identify certain things (such as a mismatched window, damaged cabinets) is crazy. We've had so many issues with the quality of the items and have had to put in numerous work orders. Some have been taken care of and others we were told Lennar doesn't handle after closing. It's hard to catch all the issues during the new home orientation when you only have 90 minutes to go through a 3000 sq foot home to mark issues. Our customer care rep, Rich, has been top notch and very responsive but he can only do so much because of Lennar's policies. I will also say that the GE appliances that Lennar selects are incredibly cheap. The dryer and range are ok, but the refrigerator is not great and the dishwasher feels like it's going to fall apart; it resembles a children's toy. They also chose a 3.8 cubic foot washing machine for a 5 br house. We already bought a new washer and sold the one from Lennar. Another frustration I have is Lennar didn't even install street lights in our part of the neighborhood, while Casa Fresca and West Bay have installed street lights in unfinished parts of the community. How Lennar missed this is beyond me. The main reason we went with Lennar was because of their warranty, which was significantly longer than West Bay and Casa Fresca. Other than that, it's nothing special. Not sure I'd build with Lennar again. As I told their higher up folks on the construction side, we weren't expecting a custom build, but we were expecting quality and things done right. That didn't happen here. Love the design and floor plan. Unfortunately the quality of building materials and some workmanship appear to be of low quality, especially in basement concrete/foundation, carpet, vinyl flooring, tub, shower. Garage door is defected. Basement floor is turning black less than 60 days after purchasing a Christie Duplex. Concrete on front stairs and sidewalk are turning colors. Asphalt Driveway has harden construction residue on it, Countertop backsplash was missing, which was unnoticed during final walk through. Pointed out rust spots on the basement floor and requested them to be removed during final walk through. Now I think that was a sign of water getting into the basement. Very disappointed. Too embarrassed to have an house warming event until things are corrected. SMH ... More

The team at Lennar is very professional, and very easy to work with. They answered all of my questions and made it easy to understand the process. They were very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a new home.

We learned very early that we could trust the Lennar Mortgage broker and the on-site builders agent Tammy and Deacon are hard working and honest professionals who were responsive and reassuring during the recent market in which it was very difficult to find a new build. When we think of Lennar, we think of the great interactions we have.consistently enjoyed with each of them. We thoroughly enjoy our house.

From start to finish it was flawless. Every aspect of home buying was explained throughly. The people Lennar hired are very knowledgeable in what they do which made our purchase so easy.

The worst quality home I ever had in my life.
