Most of the staff with Lennar is great, however communication skills on the other hand, not so good. I understand things happen, but the lack of communication was absurd. Our home was never cleaned before moving in either. Moving into a dirty home, with an infant, trying to unpack was chaotic. The builder did send the cleaners over about a week later, however when they cleaned they left tiny pieces of metal (from their scrubbers) all over my floor. My new home consultant and construction manager (Patricia and Doug) were extremely helpful during the whole process. They both were exceptional in their service and for that I am very grateful and pleased. However, Lennar's workmanship is lacking and their lack of flexibility in customizing certain items in the home is frustrating and disappointing. Also, some of the materials used in the home are of poor quality. On a brighter note, their Customer Care Service Team is extremely responsive and helpful!

Well let’s start with the deception of the sales team or shall I say Abby. She speaks very condescending, she gives false information and misrepresents what you’re purchasing. Then tells you when she gets called out on it “just cancel the transaction then.” Her management doesn’t hold her accountable and they don’t even respond to complaints or concerns so there’s no wonder why she gets away with having poor ethics. Not a bad experience but definitely could be improved. Sales people don't handle the stuff professionally, too many emails are something which worries but handling this scale is also not an easy thing as well. I hope they either slow down or add more staff so that they can handle customers professtionally. They need support staff before sales who can listen to the customers complains.

As a woman buying a house, I felt the salesmen were more comfortable communicating to the man. Have we not evolved. Women have jobs. They make $$$$. Lennar could work on this area. Be bold. Lead the way to treating all people as humans with $$$$$.

This is our second home, which was built by Lennar. We continue to have problems that have been outsourced for replacement or repair. The reports and updates we are getting reflect on Lennar as uncaring if we do not sign off on service tickets. Twice now a ticket has been closed without a completed repair. Where is the care in that?

Be careful what you sign up for.No flexibility on Lennars part.The home was well built.They tell you they will fix any thing but it’s at their time line.Love the area.No flexibility on when they will finish the house.If its beneficial to them,that’s when you have to close.The toughest part of the whole process was working with the lennar mortgage company. A nightmare. Otherwise,we’re happy we bought this home.

We’ll breakdown this review into 4 areas Lennar Sales, Lennar Title Services, Building Team, and Warranty. This review is for the Dolce Homesite Lennar Sales (Eileen and Carla) - Our first Dolce sales office experience was with Anastasia and she was great. She took the time to go over the features, explain things, and even took us around the Dolce neighborhood to show us properties and amenities. I've been a successful sales person most of my life. My success came from listening to my customers. Lennar's sales force doesn't listen, they give orders. Home inspection is at this time and date be there. Settlement will be at such and such time be there. The times I received didn't work for us. It required two week argument to move them forward 90 minutes. I don't like an ultimatum, Lennar lives by them.

The buying process was fairly smooth. The home itself is beautiful, but definitely disappointed overall in the quality now that I am moved in. Issues arising as time goes on - major one being electrical work. An outlet in the garage was not working right off the bat - it was installed improperly. That was foreshadowing for the electrical issues that have arisen with breakers constantly tripping and lights and fans flickering. Kristen was extremely helpful and informative throughout the home buying process. She did everything she could in which her job role allowed. It was a pleasure working with her. On the other hand, Lennar (Corporate) was not considerate at all in accommodating to a closing date that worked best for me, unless additional money was added to the transaction. There are still some items inside and outside the house that were noted and marked before and during the walk through as items to be fixed that were ignored and have not been fixed as of 4/2/23. We were so excited to close on our new home! Until we walked in the door. The house wasn’t cleaned, drywall dust everywhere. The stove was sitting in the middle of the kitchen, the dishwasher or the disposal were not plugged in. So you know they weren’t tested to see if they worked. There was a huge dent in the top of the dryer that we saw a week before, but wasn’t replaced. The loan process was one of the longest I’ve ever done and this is my third home purchase. Even on the day we were supposed to close thing weren’t done and we had to call to find out we weren’t closing that day. My family moved out of our apartment and had to stay in hotels for a week waiting for everything to get sorted. Poor communication and too many repairs

The construction took 2 months more than anticipated. The communication or updates on the status of the house were very poor because The construction team was not providing updates. Once we moved into the house they were multiple concerns of undone repairs and we are still dealing with necessary repairs. Also, The tiles style were changed without notice to the buyer

My biggest complaint is the quality of workmanship. I don't have the time or space to list all of the issues but I'll sum it up with this. It must have been bring your kids to work day and they let their kids build the house...drunk!

Lennars' is working on the model of " quantity before quality ". They lack the small but important detail on their homes. The subcontractors appear to be working on getting the homes built quick and ignoring things that need extra time.

Lennar could become that next level company if they were "proactive" in their communication.It always seems like internal communication is poor at best so many more steps are needed to get something done than needed! Overall, Lennar builds a pretty good home but they get defensive when something needs to be corrected. It all comes down to being open and transparent, communication!!

The notified closing date changed multiple times. We were given an original closing to be October 2022 and based on that we planned for furniture delivery and for us to move in by November. Lennar missed the October closing and we had to pay rent until we could get into the house. We were notified of next closing to take place in January but we found problems with construction that had to be corrected before we could close and get into the house.
