The process from the start was awesome. Our home advisor helped us negotiate when our realtor didn't. She thought we should go in at full price. The Lender was slower than molasses, but the title company was quick and efficient. Overall, I would buy another, larger Lennar home in my near future.

Escrow was a mess. They waited until the day of closing to share that I needed more money to close. I didn’t need a celebration when I did get the keys but it would have been nice that someone from Lennar was there

I would say that the home buying experience would have been great if I went all in with Lennar. Since I did not and chose to go with my own lender things got weird to say the least.

Had a overall wonderful experience minus lennar lender. I had to choose another better lender. But the site manager project manager everyone was great( Herb)

Lennar mortgage personnel was an absolute nightmare I recommend getting your own mortgage company big time!!!

Seems the ball gets dropped from sales to builder one blames the other when something is missed example pre-construction meeting. I was never notified. The builder blamed sales and sales blamed builder. Didn’t help me much as was all over and done with

The mortgage company was not smooth. Our representative left in the middle of it and no one notified us of this for awhile. It wasn’t made easy to understand what was going one.

I found Lennar to be excellent builder very easy to deal with. I am proud to say they are my Builder, and that I own a Lennar home.

We put in an offer and were excited. We made sure our ducks were in a row. Sadly when we got to underwriting, communication went sparse and our hope of closing early vanished, costing us another month of rent. We could have closed sooner but they waited a week to let us know they needed more paperwork. We never received an apology or any response when we brought this complaint up. The House is solid so far but our first buying experience was not a joyous one. Grateful it is over and we can move on. Lots of good people with this lennar group just not efficient. I offered my services as it is extremely wasteful on their part. Lastly I still don't know what the concierge is for. Ours didn't check in with us and never could help answer our questions. Thankfully, we had a good realtor from the outside that helped push lennar. All in all, if you go with lennar you'll get a descent home but their organization structure and lack of communication can be very stressful and make you doubt you're going to close on your new home. Will start on the outside leading to the house. The contractor who did the cement sidewalks and driveways did a terrible job.. Not only on our property but the whole community. The cement is flaking, cracking and marks all over them. Who ever designed and put the water pipes in did a terrible job. The water pipe covers are in drive ways, in some cases two, on the sidewalks…….just terrible. The house itself is not too bad, the biggest complaint is lack of storage.. No linen closets, no sealing of grout on the tile, no drawers in the master bathroom. In the backyard the yard property does not meet the golf property in a very attractive setting. Underwriting was a pain. Lack of communication among the employees and some not returning calls or emails. Had to upload the same information several times. Very frustrating and upsetting. Now that it’s all over we love our home and are very happy even though we needed a brand new air conditioner within the first two weeks. Other than that no major issues with our home.

We love our new Lennar home and the new community! The only problem we had was on the financial end, the loan officer, and those folks. And in talking to all our new neighbors who were already here when we moved in as well as the neighbors who have moved in after us, we all seem to have the same thing in common….. the lending process was unnecessarily, stressful, and overall not good. So far almost everyone we have spoken to experienced the same thing we did in that it was a lot of “hurry up and wait“ with the worst part being none of us were approved for our loans until a day or two before we were set to move in with the deadline Lennar gave us. This was very stressful in that most of us were also selling the home we were moving from and we didn’t know whether or not we would be approved for the loan in time to meet the deadline that Lennar gave us. We sold our home and moved into our new home in four weeks. Lennar had given us six weeks to do so. So it was very frustrating on the financial side for them to get the loan approved before the due date. Also worth noting, every single one of us have experienced the same thing in regards to the mortgage company. Lennar initially owns the mortgage and then within only a couple weeks of living here the loan is sold off to a different mortgage company. So that was kind of frustrating. In the end, it obviously worked out for all of us, but the loan process could’ve been more expeditious and less hurry up and give me this now and then wait to hear back from me for what felt like a little bit too long. We had a couple minor issues with hardware, etc. which Lennar was very quick in getting someone out to replace so that was great. The Lennar realtor, Jasmine, was fantastic and very helpful as well. Good process from purchase to closing. So far response to post purchase issues has been average in my opinion .

They moved the day to close so we had to pay for another night of keeping our stuff on the truck and had to pay another $300 for a hotel. The floors are very uneven and one of our trees in the back is not straight. Phil was great!

For my first time it was the most stressful experience, there is no communication between departs or between the finance ppl...I would send the same thing over and over again. They showed no understanding of everything I was going through I had 2 deaths a week apart, and continued to send me emails on sending the same paperwork that I had previously sent....I think it could have been a better experience if there were more internal communications between the finance dept. It totally was not a great experience.

Thank you for the hardwork getting me into my forever home.

My representative, Kyle was wonderful. If I didn't have him to help, support and guide me I don't think I would have stayed and bought a house from Lennar.

We bought a Next Gen and it’s beautiful. Guy over our property is quick to respond and handled all of our move in blue tape missed items/ additional findings with ease. Loved how easy and friendly the loan process and staff were. My hiccup is we were explicitly told the next gen comes with 2 fridges, washer and dryer dishwasher etc. come closing, he refuted that and blamed our walkthrough guy. Dude, you told us that which is why I wasn’t mad about selling our last house with the brand new W&D we bought etc and now I misheard? No, I wrote it down as I was listing the pros and cons and why there wasn’t any buyer remorse before then. Anyway, Les sucked there, and supposedly his managers weren’t willing to budge either. The house is +500K and you want a bad review over it, done. Aside from that, other people’s driveways are small and so there’s a ton of cars in the street and in front of my house but neighborhood is quiet, home is home, and we can figure the nuances out. ... The experience buying the house always has some difficulties however when the requirements are fulfilled completely the journey should be smooth specially when the responses are not accurate it will create some delay and confusion. I also have to say that Larry was very helpful when complication were present. Overall it was ok but could be better.

I had a fast closing since they wanted me to close prior to the quarter ending. They forget you have a career yourself and threaten you with the You need to submit the requested documents within 24 hours. My loan processor was the only reason I stayed In this.. There are hundreds of new homes in this area from competitor builders and I almost walked 3x. I was even told by the rep that work at the tour building for the community well if you think you can find better why are you here? I responded this is my 2nd tour to confirm if I want to confirm but I’ll take my VA home loan and go somewhere else easily… We are highly seeked after in this area.. But overall once it was over everything was great. Sucks they’re still building new homes and these windows don’t block noise so at 0700 you better be fully away. I’m off Fridays and there’s no sleeping in. I know what I signed up for so it’s expected still sucks.. So yes besides the sales rep and document demand it was smooth ... More

This is a great location

The sales representative was excellent. He always immediate addressed our concerns. I did find the closing process quite confusing. New information can being forwarded to my email without explanation. seemed to be a very confusing process with lack of overall direction.

There is no follow thru, honesty or integrity at the Calabash office whatsoever for your attorney. There was zero communication, no returned phone calls or emails. At one point they sent preliminary closing docs and were asking for $360k+ in funds. They had the funds in an escrow account for my 1031 exchange. We closed 3 days late and even then had to wait 3 hours to get our keys. The funds due to me at the close were unavailable until 2 days later. The insurance for my homes was never paid (against the law as they had the funds) and my insurance was canceled. In the end I had to pay the insurance and fight to get a check for reimbursement. Butler & College should be terminated for incompetency, non-communication and breaking the law. I have not reported them but am informing you. All funds during a closing are to be disbursed. They were not. If it had not been for Kevin Williams, we would have never closed. Your attorney made the buying experience awful. ... More

Not orderly in getting things done. Too many last things before the closing to be done when we felt like they already had everything they needed but it seemed like up until the minute we signed the papers there was something else we had to give them or something else we had to do not not on top of things

The overall experience was good, but did not follow up after we moved in
