The title company was not great. No communication at all and subsequent communication after closing was non existent. important in time sensitive docs were sent to the original address. Wish we knew development has not been registered with Usps. There’s no communication of that either. So disappointing the tail end of the process and would rather go to a third-party title company.

Our move in was hugely disappointing and challenging. Elevator to our third floor condo not working for several days. No hot water for several days. Dishwasher not working, furnace very loud, can hear people on staircase. No insulation?

Poor finishing, very bad communication, only good experience was my loan officer very pleasant and helpful. Home is not worth the price. I certainly will not recommend Lenner.

Where to start? The house was not ready when we closed. Lennar builds houses and then is completely unprepared when someone attempts to move into it. Appliances were not in until the day after we moved in and then the stove didn't fit. Waited a week to have the cabinets moved so the stove could be installed. There was a dumpster in front of the house so only one pod could be delivered. Move in was delayed. Dirt everywhere. Driveway and stairs were not cleaned so the movers had to walk over moving pads and still tracked mud all over the brand new house which Lennar had to have cleaned later. Sprinkler system and landscaping could not be completed because the backflow pipe for the irrigation system was buried behind the stone work. Construction debris under the back porch still hasn't been removed. Loose railing, crooked pendant lights, paint overspray in many places. Several doors needed to be adjusted to close correctly. Opened at least 20 warranty tickets already. Most cosmetic repairs are shoddy and noticeable. Interior paint appears to be one thin coat of cheap paint throughout the house. Zero guidance on smart home connectivity. Ring doorbell installed incorrectly and box was not provided so we cannot pair doorbell to app. Complained about this a dozen timesand still not rectified. Stove vent had to he repaired. Furnace had a water leak that needed to be fixed. Various rods and brackets were missing throughout the house. Washing machine drain cap was painted shut. Every neighbor has similar stories and worse. ... More

Many issues with the home noted at or soon after move-in. Despite promises, some remain unresolved. Both warranty rep and construction manager do not responbd when contacted for assistance

The home is beautiful but the amount of punch list items that we had at closing were unacceptable. From poor workmanship and a filthy home to unfinished kitchen cabinets, we have worked way to hard on getting our home right. And btw-it's still not. As hard as home warranty team tries to service us, the list is so overwhelming that they are swamped.

First, the pros: 1. We love our house. The floor plan and lot size are perfect for our family. The interior color palette options are all very tasteful and cohesive. 2. We were primarily in contact with Marc and Ryan throughout the home-buying process. We really enjoyed working with them! They are both incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Cons: 1. After we selected our homesite but before we paid our deposit, Lennar opened it back up for bid. Although all was well and we ended up with our homesite, it was a little frustrating though attributed to miscommunication. 2. I did not enjoy doing everything online. My phone calls were not always returned in a timely manner. The builders left sticky stuff on the floors, the paint lines aren’t very straight, the quality of the paint is terrible although a beautiful color. The interior doors and cabinets are trash, the finish is peeling off them on the edges. The dampers weren’t put in, so our downstairs stayed cold and upstairs stayed hot until that was repaired. The sliding door frame was left a mess with concrete mud or something all over it. The garage is too small for anything other than a compact vehicle and I drive an SUV. There is no room for visitor parking because all the people who live near it use the spaces. And the outside water meter lid won’t stay in place, it keeps falling into the hole. Pay for HOA that we were told would take care of the outside of the home but we get emails about winterizing. ... More

I really like the floor plan (Splendor) but did not get the elevation I wanted (really wanted a front porch). The premium lot is awesome, over looking the conservation area to the west (great sunsets). Sales personnel was good to work with and the construction of the house is very good. The closing was very efficient and the walk thru process was also efficient. Training and description of the technology in the house was very poor (I'm still learning about the technical items available in the house). When I closed I signed off on a list of items not complete or not completed properly. It's now January 2023 and not all the items have been addressed. I do understand that it was Lennar's end of fiscal year and also the holiday's but they could be a bit more efficient on getting these items complete. ... More

I don't think anybody involved had any ill intent but I also don't think they care much. The new home orientation was a great experience. My best advice is do not close until every imperfection is handled. Also it was a disappointing amount of cigarettes left on my property.

At the point of our contract on the home, there were very minor changes we wanted made to plumbing (adding a laundry sink in the garage) and electrical (like adding a few additional outlets here and there); drywall and insulation weren't up yet, and it would be a perfect time to make those changes happen. Our Lennar contacts Kevin and Missy were totally unresponsive; the answer was always, always "NO", no changes can be made, not even if we were willing to pay extra for them. I made multiple inquiries and always was met with the same response every time -- it was absolutely baffling, to say the least -- I'm buying this house, why can't I have it the way I want it? Now I'm having to pay electricians and plumbing contractors and tear into drywall to get done what could have easily been accomplished at the pre-drywall stage of construction. After moving in, our new next door neighbors confided in us that they were met with the same response, but were also told to "pay the contractors who did the original work under the table to come in after hours to get what they wanted done." Again, totally baffled by Lennar's approach. And while I basically feel confident that Lennar built a decent home, there are finish detail issues that have gone unresolved, like rough drywall mudding in places and needed paint touch-up. It was a mad dash by Lennar to get our house completed by their year-end closing date. When it was discovered only weeks before closing that our kitchen island had been placed in the wrong location and had to be torn out -- I'm still not convinced that the new kitchen island configuration is correct. And hardly a day goes by where I don't notice another irregularity with paint and drywall; small holes here and there -- you get the picture. And I'm totally shocked that the house included no lighting other than LED can lights in every room -- there's no vanity lighting in the baths, there wasn't a chandelier in the dining room, there are no lights other than cans in any of the bedrooms. And the placement of the can lights -- especially in the bathrooms -- makes it impractical or impossible to easily install any kind of upgraded lighting without a major expense and more electrical and drywall work being done. We were living in another state while this house was being built, and that made it difficult to oversee closely some of the construction details that eventually would make a difference to us. I advise anyone buying a Lennar home to watch them very closely at all stages of construction, and to not simply accept "NO" as an answer -- push them to the absolute limit to get what you want -- you are the one paying for your home, it should be the way you want it!! ... First and foremost construction was delayed a little bit . Originally they committed to close the house on October, but they handed me new home on November and also HOA monthly fees little bit high compared to other neighborhood considering this neighborhood doesn’t have any swimming pool clubhouse , dog park, children play area or any sort of amenities .I felt we paid a high price for the home

Our experience with Lennar was a mixed bag. Issues with Lennar Mortgage aside, Lennar was helpful and prompt with questions and inquiries. There were some miscommunications (in regards to ceiling fans and gutters), but the issue was resolved with the help of Alejandra. She did a great job with sticking her neck out for us to help rectify the issue. However, I am fairly upset that it head not communicated to us that we had a transformer box in our backyard, prior to the electrical tech coming onto our property unannounced and uninvited.

Beautiful homes. Great spaces in the layout. Open floor plan is awesome. The home buying experience was good in some areas but not good in others due to little communication between all parties involved. Surprised the purchasing process has changed with Bids/No Bids. The lighting panels in the homes are really backwards. The color choices were changed due to manufacturing issues but owners had no say in the changes that were made. Construction folks created residue on my deck that i hope will be resolved. Finding out the home loan was sold to another company at closing was a shocker. The HOA cost is expensive compared to other areas, they need work on priorities of the community and issues with parking, trash collection, landscaping etc. Hope for the best. ... More

I had recently moved into my brand new house which is constructed by Lennar. I had that new feel for only few days. I started hearing creaking sounds almost everywhere with in 1 week of closing. There’s are cracks on the walls, air leaks and so on. Initially construction quality used to be good when I signed my contract. But now, I won’t recommend Lennar to anyone.

Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

Homebuying process was rocky but not too bad… I used lennar mortgage. There were constant delays with closing date but overall they got things done. No issues with home so far

We love our home but but the lender experience was terrible. It is too much to write, but they weren’t prepared with our paperwork at closing and we had to reschedule the closing to another day after sitting at the closing table for 2 hours. It was ridiculous.

So we just bought our first single family home. Good things- they stuck to time line and pretty much completed the projected on estimated time provided. The mortgage process was fairly seemless till closing without much surprises. Bad: we were not allowed any choice whatsoever, even the kitchen units were selected by their sales agent and we were told afterwards. Upon moving in there were construction stains on the flooring which was addressed on multiple occasions by their staff but they didn’t seem to have the correct equipments to clear them. Now with time and persistent cleaning by us, after a month or so these are almost gone. Overall we are pleased with the outcome though it’s not ideal. Construction quality is rather standard in most areas and substandard in a few. They didn’t put in any bathroom fixtures. Within one month we are seing continuous cracks along the walls/counter top edges on kitchen, around bathroom shower cabinets and bath tubs with some signs of small leak. Upon contacting customer service We are told that caulking is not including in their standard warranty and my home is setting. I am not entirely convinced by this explanation. Overall, it was an up and down experience buying Lennar home. Given the scarcity of available new homes we didn’t have much choice. I would probably rate the whole experience a 6/10. We love the community and the floorplan of our home. The workmanship and some materials could be better. Construction Manager was responsive to all our concerns and request.

Sales department and building department are not aligned. Definitely have opportunities to improve

Elson was awesome from start to finish. Andrea and Andre needs customer service training. Cheyenne was great. Overall the experience was decent. The process was smooth although I was a nervous wreck.

Nothing special. It would have been nice to be able to select a few features of the home. Communication from the walk through and on has been unimpressive, and it is challenging to get the correct information.

The loan process was overall okay. There were parts where they left us hanging on what’s going with the loan. The house overall was very good. Several issues needed to be fix, but took too long to respond to us about when to get it fix. Some parts of the house where missing or missed paint. It was pointed out during inspection that there some several spot where missing paint. Overall experience Okay.
