Lennar's salesman sold us a different floorplan then the one he represented to us. His mistake was our loss. Lennar refused to make us whole. They simply offered our deposit back on the home but offered no other recourse.

Lennar - The experience has been less than stellar.

The experience has been less than stellar. Apparently, I can't mention those things as my last review could not be posted. Things I'm happy with: Appliances, size of bedroom, open floor plan, the people who were helpful during this process. Things I'm not happy with: Still no trash can delivered, a random leak and people who were not so helpful during the process. Overall 3.5 stars.

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed with our experience so far with Lennar as we had fairly low expectations given the state of builders, build quality, and labor issues. I will express that for all the "issues" that have cropped up throughout the process, Lennar has been prompt to address them in a suitable time frame. Regardless, it still astounds me that there isn't more attention to detail during the build process so they didn't have to spend so much time, $$ and resources fixing things that could have prevented in the first place.

It took longer than expected, but in the end, we are glad to be here !!

The home has really some really good features, and some bad ones. The finishing isn't as good as it could be, and a lot of areas show that, especially the flooring. The drip irrigation installed was already broken the second day we moved in, and then a pipe burst a couple of weeks later. Have been in the home for about a month now, and have already submitted tickets. The best part is the responsiveness to the tickets. Diana and Moe have been a huge help.

The initial framing quality, including both materials and labor was the poorest of quality. Our replacement construction supervisor exhibited strong construction knowledge and was very responsive correcting final, cosmetic issues.

It is a great community and I bought the larger unit and the handover was on time and post sales support is fine but Lennar did not disclose it was offering incentives to other folks and my cost was higher than other folks.

Not the most pleasing experience in home purchasing

The building looks grand at the first impression, but once you begin to live in the house one begins to find the house lacks many details that a luxury home should consist of. In our home, most noticeable is the electrical switches and outlets, then the lighting. switches are not placed at logical places, lacking multiple switching capability, some even did not provide multiple switching. outlets are sparse, some not even present such as at a long hallway, no light in the closet, bathroom lights not suitable for makeup for the ladies of the house. poor workmanship.

Happy to be here, but it's clear there were corners cut

I know you guys work with different contractors, but it's clear that the builders cut corners and it's up to the buyers to "catch things" that were missed. For example, our carpet throughout the whole house is lumpy with peaks and valleys in every room. However, we love the floor plan, the house itself and are happy to be here. We just have to be "on top of everything" inside and outside the house. It's not a relaxing experience, instead we are the foreman after we move in. Issues have been addressed hit and miss with workers coming at unscheduled times and whenever they can. I work from home ...

Check inside refrigerator, how crisper drawer pulls out. Check how manual slider lock in garage was installed. Check your microwave above stove - can you see how it’s cooking. Short people can’t see what is going on.

Slow down and think quality over profit

Used cheap materials, and it shows. Why no gutters? Think where the water goes when it rains, and it rains a lot in florida. Appliances are cheap, who buys a side by side fridge? The walk thru with a Lennar guy made me feel like I was complaining when all I wanted was a good home, I think I deserve that for $350,000.

Lennar - The closing was forced as the home was not completed.

The closing was forced as the home was not completed. We had over 2 dozen things that needed completed. If we didn't close the day we did the interest rate went way up. Seven weeks after closing we still have at least 10 items on the punch list still needing completed. Knowing who to talk to at Lennar is irritating. The sour experience we are still going through has ruined the sweetness of buying our final new home.

Take time to notice the things one would not even look at during your walk thru, like quality of workmanship done by the building construction team. Take time to notice the backyard grass section the various slope grades, possibly work done in a hurry by the land surveyor landscaping team. My opinion is the Surveyors team should have noticed the various issues of backyard ? Such as grass/grade/slope, grass rolls planted on top of rocks? Not even to walk on. But Lennar has been great to respond to all issues I will say! so I commend the Lennar North point team, and thank them 100% for ...

Unfortunately this time around, buying lennar was not a legendary experience. Lots of delays, cancel inspection without prior notifications, final closing postponed x3-4 times. Too many Customer care representatives and no one up front to attend the customer concerns.. Do want to thank Mrs Oliveira from title/closing for her professionalism and Mr Mike McCarthy for his attention to detail.

Lennar - Not sure that the builder understood customer service.

Not sure that the builder understood customer service. Pile of dirt in the garage on final walkthru. Said that he pressure washed the garage 5 weeks ago. Therefore, not his problem that there was a pile of dirt. Emily stepped in and had it cleaned. Thank you. Still waiting for my windows to be repaired (over 2 months) says that the subs are real busy. Otherwise, pretty responsive.

We had a number of delays during construction and ended up closing almost 3 months late. Our home is beautiful and worth was worth the wait. We do love the community we moved into. We do feel there were things that Lennar handled very poorly. Our home was not completely ready we feel to close. Weather this was the fault of Lennar or several of the utilities it is still unclear. None of the TV/Internet providers that service the community were prepared for the closing of our home and several others. It took 2 months and a lot of pressure to finally get our home connected. We feel that ...

I absolutely love the location and community. The workmanship is quite good, and I'm pleased with my purchase. The construction manager, Sam, provided top-notch service, and he went out of his way to assist me several times. Sam was the bright spot. My experience elsewhere was disappointing, to say the least. My top complaint is the poor communication with me and within the Lennar functional areas. I often received conflicting information or was provided with information that wasn't true. For example, I was told (in writing) that once I took possession, I could set up my cable service with ...

Overall; for the price paid, expected better. No warranty on landscaping, poor quality in trees and lawn; after two weeks of moving in; 80% landscaping had to be replaced. Elevation of backyard was poor; created a swampy mud hole; as far as the home design; no upgrades were available to choose from just a basic package with 3 different exterior designs. Not a fan of the security devices that come with home , so we purchased another brand / vendor. Best to take your time and really compare builders vs value.
