Your process for warranty work should be an in-person meeting not and online video call that the homeowner should have to do. When warranty work is being completed a representative from Lennar should be there or at least communicating with the homeowner. I have sat around for many hours waiting for work to be done and a few times no show or later than told with no call.

While we really like the home we have, the property has drainage issues and the builder didn't take significant steps to alleviate the problems. They throw some rock on the ground and claim there is a French drain when that's not the case.

On two separate occasions we were told to expect full wood flooring and NOT carpeting which was one of the main reasons for our purchase !!! Secondly we also expected to have a garage door opener and gutters! Carpeting being the main issue as this what we were sold on and promised! We have since purchased a garage door on our own and are seeking vendor for the wood flooring as well as installer to “complete “ our home !!!

Would have been great if they helped with the silverfish problem. The brand new homes are infested with bugs. Still dealing with it after almost 2 months.

I am happy with the property but the warranty proccess has been slow and frustrationg; it's been nearly 2 months since closing and am still waiting for punch list items to be completed. It has been difficult to manage since I am not currently located in Florida.

The experience was not good and that’s being kind. The mortgage person had no idea what was going on. The setup of the first 3 homes upon moving in left use not knowing who any of the utilities where going to be we had to figure it out ourselves. 2 month later we where able to get internet but are still waiting for mailbox’s. And the craftsmanship shows that everything was just slapped together as fast as possible and getting someone to fix the issues was a waste of time I have done most of what I asked to be done myself. And the house was filthy for buying a brand new home.

Hello. I would equate my buying experience with Lennar to be average. Closing was delayed multiple times due to obvious supply chain issues. Communication was above average but the attention to detail in the construction of my home was lacking. Cleanliness was a problem and Multiple punch list issues were recorded AFTER my closing with no clear direction on how they would be addressed. I am not local so email or phone calls are critical in understanding issues going on with our home purchase. Setting up utilities took some figuring out. Be prepared to pay more than advertised. Option costs are not included in web pricing and every house gets option adds. Be prepared to pay more the day you sign a contract. Our home went up mysteriously $10K the night before we were scheduled to sign a contract. Dishonest business practice. Fit and finish is something to be desired. Lennar staff was very ridged and not very friendly. Mail keys should be delivered upon close, the mail office can’t find ours and it has been over 6 weeks since we closed.

There is an obvious conflict between the sales/finance team and the construction team. Sales/finance wanted to move ou closing date two weeks earlier to achieve some goal. The construction team was not ready. Many poor quality issues were left incomplete at closing. It took many week to correct most of them and one is still outstanding six weeks after closing.

I’m more happy than unhappy overall, but there are significant items that really soured the home buying experience, including inexplicable delays in closing (not supply chain or COVID related, just disorganized), skipped final inspection due to the time crunch, bubbled paint/missing paint/splattered paint in numerous spots (all minor, but noticeable), failed low voltage electrical component problems, and insect problems immediately upon move in. Some of the 30-day corrections took extra effort to fix. Some of the overhead fixtures do not lend themselves to installing a fan. The wiring is buried too deep behind junction box to access. The smart home features all require separate apps. They are NOT interoperable.

Not the best finishes for the price. A lot of small details were not finished prior to closing and still everything is yet to be finished. For being advertised as luxury and move in ready we expected a lot more. The house is well built for the most part but all the various contractors they bring in aren’t always that great.

There was a lot of turnover of staff in the beginning which overall delayed our spot on the list to purchase. The floor model options were listed as options on all the paperwork, when it came down to being able to get a floor plan option they were no longer an option, specifically floor plan 2 converting the dining room to a suite. The cosmetic options were very limited (counters, backsplash, floor & window covers). The cabinetry is very cheaply made, definitely a low value. Working with Heather in sales was a great experience. She is helpful and prompt in her responses. We love the layout of our home and what it has to offer and feel that the overall construction is done well. However, the finish drywall and carpentry work leaves much to be desired. The work is the equivalent of a weekend DI wire not a professional builder. The accepted level of finish work shows the construction team’s lack of attention to detail.

I liked the representative. She went above and beyond to help us and make us happy but when it came to the construction it was finish quick and we will fix it once we close on the house. I have been having major problems with the subfloor (it creaks).
