Overall the experience went well. I am very pleased with the quality of our house. We've had a little trouble in getting answers to some warranty issues.

Our home was not delivered on time not anywhere near the date that was told to us when we purchased it. When we did close and moved in we found at least 40 plus items that needed to be addressed which we have submitted tickets for repairs. Our construction manager promised he would deal with them and disappeared then we were given another contact and they disappeared. We have lived in our home for over a month and still do not have mirrors. When you submit tickets for repairs the contractor just shows up without scheduling with us and we have to work we can’t just sit around every day waiting. We have been threatened by Mike B. that he is going to cancel our submitted work tickets because we are not able to be here every day when they show up. These items should have completed before we moved in not after when we have to miss work, I can not be home every day waiting for contractors. Not a sole cares about the situation they all pass the buck and Lennar is just about $ not customer service. Their workmanship is appalling and they should be embarrassed. ... More

Lennar's customer service is absolutely horrible. The responsiveness to customer issues is non-existent and no one seems to care that the home you are moving in to could be your place of living for the next 20 years or so. They seem more concerned with getting you closed and signed, your money in their hands then they stop responding to you. Slight issues are lumped in with major shortfalls in the construction and their response is, "it could take up to 90 days to resolve your issues". Avoid this developer if at all possible, and if you do buy a home from them ensure you are able to stop by the construction site often enough to validate the work being done by their sub-contractors. My inspection was done by a Lennar provided inspector and the final walk-through consisted of the Lennar representative attempting to rush us through the house as she had "other homes to walk-through with other buyers". ... Mixed results From the sales department, we received miss information. Multiple information was incorrect. Downright incorrect. Also left out good things about the house that we didn’t even know about.. We feel there were changes made to the house and the sales person was never informed. The construction manager and sales person gave us a closing date. Your corporate closing coordinator move the date forward by three weeks and Cost us thousands of dollars and the house was not ready. In addition to that, whoever was in charge of the paperwork was nowhere near ready to have all these homes closed at the same time. After waiting for hours to close, we threatened to pull out of the deal and then miraculously the paperwork was found. On a positive note, working with Aaron and Shelley has been a pleasure and a relief because they have bend over backwards to make things right. There is a lack of quality workmanship from your trade partners. I still have a list of mile long of things that need to be corrected. I’ll let you know in the next survey how well that goes. I just want you to know how close we came to getting out of buying this home because of your closing coordinator and people involved with the paperwork on the deal. ... More

The sells guy was awesome, still, the house was late, the rate was changed even if we had lock it, and the landscape job of the house is terrible.

It’s really hard to communicate with the office staff, once closing came they didn’t care about multiple issues included those mentioned regarding the house. Response times are extremely high, with people having to follow up multiple times to get a response.

They are building the homes so fast that quality is not what it should be. Fortunately, they correct the issues in a reasonable length of time.

Moving through purchasing a new construction, the team at Lennar promised throughout that a physician loan would be possible. Two weeks ahead of my closing date, my loan officer informs me that the team at Lennar did not complete Fannie Mae paperwork required in order to finalize the loan. The team was unable to provide a reason as to why they were not submitting the paperwork, and ultimately I was forced in the last two weeks to gather an additional 17% of the house value in order to close with a non-physician loan. Stay away.

The sales rep was responsive and patient with all my questions as a first time home owner. Other than that I found the closing and move in process a disappointment. During new home walkthrough my house was a complete mess and not at all ready for closing. There was no paint or carpet, people were working where I was supposed to be inspecting, there were major electrical issues, the wash machine and dishwasher did not work, a worker even had food in the refrigerator and freezer. I was amazed at how much cracked and broken molding was in the house, and attempted to be covered up. Many of my concerns were addressed before celebration walkthrough. However it took over a month to get the key to my door in the garage and for a period of time my garage door was being opened by another home in the neighborhood, giving access to my home to anyone. Closing process is amazingly easy. 4 stars on value only because of the bidding process. Lennar tries to suck every last penny out of the buyer. They know know what a fair profit margin, to remain profitable is and should price their homes accordingly… With that being said the staff from sales to construction are amazing

Had a lot of homes constructed at one time which lead to a few issues still unresolved. Like the home, but follow up on unresolved issues and communication could be better. Multiple no shows on warranty items in less than a month in the home.

My husband is a builder but we were relocating from a different area so we had to get someone else to build our new home. We found a great neighborhood that fit all of our needs built be Lennar. We made an offer which was accepted and the process began. We didn’t really have high expectations since this is a track house and Lennar is a mass production builder but we were pleasantly surprised. During construction, we received update photos on the construction. My husband also had the opportunity to walk the job twice during construction (don’t think we were supposed to do that) and found nothing that alarmed him. The plan we purchased was well thought out and executed within the approximate time frame provided. We moved into our new home and we’re happy. Our home is well built. The finishes are comparable to the price we paid. We feel that we purchased a great home at a good value and would definitely recommend Lennar. ... More

When we signed for our house back in December of 2021, there were window shortages, counter top shortages, and other manner of shortages that were prevalent in the industry. Our sales rep, Angela, assured us that Lennar was running on time at that point, and that we were most likely to close on June 22 of 2022. Fast forward to the early spring, we were getting calls from Angela, and the project manager Gary weekly giving us an update. We closed on our house on May 27th, almost an entire month early. We were aware of the entire process the entire time. Any issues that came up in that time, Lennar had fixed almost immediately. It's rare that I see companies in general, let alone home builders be this communicative, responsive to questions and feedback, and get done ahead of schedule. Condo has been everything as expected!

Lennar is is no way, shape, or form Customer Friendly. No choices or changes at all. "This is what you get and forget about making or requesting even the slightest change". No communication or updates forthcoming from the Lennar reps. Delay after Delay and no real concern or care on their part.

Worst buying experience I have ever had. Pressured to do walk thru then nothing on the list from walk thru was completed by closing. 45 days after closing and light fixtures are still on back order, roof tiles broken, and doorbell doesn't work. only in the last 24 hrs has anybody tried to help. Walls are not straight, and paint is one coat of the cheapest paint on the market. Job site was full of trash for entire build and had to personally remove trash behind cabinets and in walls before being inclosed.

Overall, we really enjoy the new home we bought from Lennar. However, this place's sound insulation is horrible! We live in a town home and have neighbors left and right. The garage is in the first floor, everyday we can hear our neighbor's car door close when they get home, also when they go up and down to the stairs. The builder said there are multilpe dry wall inbetween each unit, so techniquelly, we don't really share the same wall with others. But we still hear foot steps, doors in the house closing, sometimes even their TV.

There were things that we were satisfied with. In our final walkthrough some of the discrepancies were taken care, some were not. I understand the warranty section and having to wait until we got on the list to get those things fixed. But, the other stuff like touch ups that were marked with tape didn’t get taken care of. It’s not really a big deal because some of those things “we” as homeowners can fix on our own. But the things we pointed out that was wrong didn’t get fixed when we started moving our household goods in the house. The air conditioning units has been our biggest struggle. We registered them within the 30 days, but after that we had major problems. One AC until had its wires fried completely. And we were blamed by the technician, Bayonet, because he thought we were raising and lowering the temperature. That’s unsatisfactory because we had only been in the house a little over 30 days. The other stuff of having to redo caulking and fix broken towel hangers doesn’t bother as much. It’s the major electrical issues…HVAC, AC units that have me concerned. ... More

The builder had three heads (Sales/Construction/Closing). Ryan (Sales) did a good job. Sadly Construction and Closing were generally poor. Unnecessary pressure was applied by Closing whilst Construction obviously could not achieve the completion dates given. Completion delayed by three weeks due to poor workmanship, mainly damaged doors. The Construction guys are OK when you find out who they are. From a Purchaser's perspective, the completion and closing process could be much improved by using a single point of contact.

My mother said if you have noting nice to say don't say anything so I guess I have nothing to say.

Construction crews are thugs. They broke windows, chipped doors, sheetrock and taping issues all over house. Construction quality is sub-par. Lennar corp people are great. They respond, repair and answer emails. Lennar warranty website is long, tedious and boring but at least the issues are addressed.

Love our home but the workmanship and attention to detail is not good especially for the price we paid. Totally feel taken advantage of and Lennar has not been responsive at all. Our construction manager did not do a great job and was MIA with most of all of our problems during the process. Again, beautiful home but not a great experience at all.
