After several weeks of struggling with mice making nests in my garage, and after the fact of my service ticket was rejected because it was considered a nature issue. I decided to open the drywall of the water heater tank base, and I found a rat had made a hole in the concrete insulation between the garage and my guest room. Everything indicates that they were living in the garage before closing the house. As much as I dislike making a suggestion to finance with the builder, you may get better treatment from Lennar Title by doing so! Questions not answered, calls not returned, treated rude when we arrived to close per Lennar's diection. We were even asked upon arrival to close, why we were there! Who just shows up at a closing for the heck of it, especially in a pandemic? And keep in mind, Lennar had all our monies and still used their leverage to treat us rude. I was surprised at how little urgency was taken to make sure my home was completed before my closing date. At closing I was told that if I didn’t like the house, they could sell it to someone else.

Overall I am now happy with my home, but it took a while to get there. The builder did not finish things that were promised to me at my final walk-through for closing date, and it has taken a very long time to get those things completed. The office staff at my community was great to work with, but I was not as happy with the building process.

I waited for months for Storey Park K 50 to finally open up lots for sale. Despite talking to my sales rep monthly waiting for it to open when the phase finally opened up for sale, my sales rep notified me after they had already sold the first 5 lots, which cause me to miss out on lower purchase price on the first lot offering. With everyone working remote and no one being forced to be in an office or available to work, there is a lack of availability or response. Things are not taken care of as quickly as they used to be or, sometimes, you can't even get a hold of someone to get an answer or solution. That goes for both the buying process and the support for issues after closing. Employees have become more focused on their personal issues rather than their work and availability during working hours.

Quality was lagging as was completion date. A bit unfortunate but felt Lennar Corp was more concerned with getting our building closed out before the end of their fiscal year, vs. the quality of the product. That said, we knew coming in that quality was not what Lennar is known for so didn’t expect a custom/quality job to begin with. I feel most bad for folks like Arthur and Ron who are just executing the direction they are provided, often with limited control of the process.

Houses are being put up really quickly and the attention to detail is suffering because of it. We are still waiting for repair of the landscaping that was damaged by contractors driving on our lawn, poor drainage at the end of the street which causes flooding and mud building up where adults and kids have fallen. Too many transitions within the warranty department and no notice of who the contact person is. Wood is chipped throughout the house, poor paint/caulking jobs, doors misaligned, residue from stickers left on the showers and tubs which are difficult to remove and uneven floor boards ...

The “Celebration” appointment should be called a “walkthrough” to discuss status of home prior to closing and what needs to be addressed prior to that time. The home had many issues. Construction materials still on the premises while a “celebration banner” was being put up! Very disappointed in the meeting. This is our 6th new construction home. Past builders had the home spotless by the time the walkthrough occurred. This will be our first and last Lennar home. Thankyou.

We were left in the dark for weeks as they pushed back our closing date several times. We tried getting a hold of Corina multiple times on several different occasions but she ignored all our calls, voicemails and emails. The home itself is beautiful but are now having issues with leaks and things missing. The customer service person - chris- also completely ignores all the calls, voicemails and txts. Only when we complain he comes around and still doesnt actually get anything done. Rick was great to work with and we know he did his best. Brian the builder is amazing and so kind and helpful. ...
