After several weeks of struggling with mice making nests in my garage, and after the fact of my service ticket was rejected because it was considered a nature issue. I decided to open the drywall of the water heater tank base, and I found a rat had made a hole in the concrete insulation between the garage and my guest room. Everything indicates that they were living in the garage before closing the house. Lennar didn't seal the base and the rat (considering the hole size) was able to go inside during the construction phase. Make sure you had everything inspected before you close on the house because they will tell you it wasn't their fault later. ... More

This is our first home so I don't have much to compare the process too. Overall, the build is great. There were a few minor issues that did not get taken care of before we moved in.

Unit wasn't ready and we were forced to pushed to close.

As much as I dislike making a suggestion to finance with the builder, you may get better treatment from Lennar Title by doing so! Questions not answered, calls not returned, treated rude when we arrived to close per Lennar's diection. We were even asked upon arrival to close, why we were there! Who just shows up at a closing for the heck of it, especially in a pandemic? And keep in mind, Lennar had all our monies and still used their leverage to treat us rude. Lennar, you are not the only builder and definely were unknown to us in IL. We traveled cross country to buy in NV and were thrilled to find a buildrer, builing homes to address our personal needs at this time in life. We have owned many properties before and this was the worse and most stressful closing we ever experienced! All, reading this, my comments are specific to Lennar Title. Our site foreman, conceigre, and sales associates were wonderful! We are currently working with Lennar's home care team to address a few building issues, and so far the process is going well. Hopefully, I will gain confidence in Lennar to recommend to others based on they uphold warranties, etc., but for now my only suggestion is if you decife to purchase a Lennar home, work directly with Lennar's team from start to finish and perhaps Lennar Title will give you better customer service! ... All finishing are basic, and kitchen cabinets are to basic.

House was not ready. A lot of touch up would need to be done before Closing.

Overall I am now happy with my home, but it took a while to get there. The builder did not finish things that were promised to me at my final walk-through for closing date, and it has taken a very long time to get those things completed. The office staff at my community was great to work with, but I was not as happy with the building process.

I waited for months for Storey Park K 50 to finally open up lots for sale. Despite talking to my sales rep monthly waiting for it to open when the phase finally opened up for sale, my sales rep notified me after they had already sold the first 5 lots, which cause me to miss out on lower purchase price on the first lot offering. After signing, the house took longer than expected to start building, however the other homes beside us were always being built quicker. We always experienced delays compared to our neighbors to the point that in Nov 2021, the builder was rushing to finish our home to meet Lennar's year-end goal. The builder missed and had to rescheduled the new home orientation and final walk-thru 3 times because they just weren't done. We were not able to complete a home inspection with our approved home inspector either. Then on 11/30/2021 at 5:45pm, Lennar Title called for us to close that evening at 9pm. A final walk-thru was done with a punchlist that was very long. It was all too rushed and we had to close on the house with unfinished, unclean items. Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title were unresponsive for the entire time and showed up at the end (1-2 days before closing on Thanksgiving holiday) to ask for documentation. The reps at each of these were not friendly and at time rude. Ever since closing on 11/30/2021, we had had weekly visits from different trades (that we have had to be badgering Lennar to send us) to fix, repair, and/or finish up the items on the punchlist. The lot was not properly graded and we are having drainage issues. Lennar keeps saying there are delays. One of the exterior doors to the house is damaged and Lennar had stopped following thru to fix it. Finally, the "Everything is included" concept only benefits Lennar and not the homeowner. In this new K50 phase, we have paid more money than any previous phase and received less quality items (i.e. shingle roof instead of title, lesser quality appliances, lesser quality garage doors, and outdated color brick pavers). The builder also put in a massive garden, which we did not want, in the backyard taking away much of our green space. I have built many homes in the past and this by far was the most stressful and annoying experience. I do not plan on using Lennar again in the future nor recommending them. ... More

Push to close to make quotas. Over two hours rate at title office. During final walk through the home was not ready.

With the process was smoother. Lots of little issues made this process unnecessarily difficult. But in all we love our home so that is the silver lining.

Mediocre quality appliances, materials and workmanship; does not paint the garage walls & floor; charges premium prices; extras add up quickly; terrible workmanship installing sod; Laundry room and pantry are too small;

With everyone working remote and no one being forced to be in an office or available to work, there is a lack of availability or response. Things are not taken care of as quickly as they used to be or, sometimes, you can't even get a hold of someone to get an answer or solution. That goes for both the buying process and the support for issues after closing. Employees have become more focused on their personal issues rather than their work and availability during working hours.

Quality was lagging as was completion date. A bit unfortunate but felt Lennar Corp was more concerned with getting our building closed out before the end of their fiscal year, vs. the quality of the product. That said, we knew coming in that quality was not what Lennar is known for so didn’t expect a custom/quality job to begin with. I feel most bad for folks like Arthur and Ron who are just executing the direction they are provided, often with limited control of the process.

I didn’t have the experience I was expecting. Very poor work quality, materials are not the best, paint was horrible, etc.

Houses are being put up really quickly and the attention to detail is suffering because of it. We are still waiting for repair of the landscaping that was damaged by contractors driving on our lawn, poor drainage at the end of the street which causes flooding and mud building up where adults and kids have fallen. Too many transitions within the warranty department and no notice of who the contact person is. Wood is chipped throughout the house, poor paint/caulking jobs, doors misaligned, residue from stickers left on the showers and tubs which are difficult to remove and uneven floor boards put down upstairs with the poor quality carpet just laying on top. On time home delivery as promised at the time of contract sign.

After signing contact office employee not as friendly as I think they should be. Builder very helpful. Employees working with closing all very professional and helpful.

Several delays along the way.

Had a good experience generally. only big disappointment was on the 1st and 2nd viewing of the property before purchase. The lady treated us really badly. We still remember this.

The purchasing process was great. However once moved in, within days there were issues with appliances leaking, ants in the home, and difficulty getting issues resolved in a timely fashion.

I've experienced nothing but issue after issue with the house. I'm averaging about two new issues per week ranging from Major appliances, flooring, cabinets, window coverings, HVAC, interior doors just to name a few.

The “Celebration” appointment should be called a “walkthrough” to discuss status of home prior to closing and what needs to be addressed prior to that time. The home had many issues. Construction materials still on the premises while a “celebration banner” was being put up! Very disappointed in the meeting. This is our 6th new construction home. Past builders had the home spotless by the time the walkthrough occurred. This will be our first and last Lennar home. Thankyou.

We were left in the dark for weeks as they pushed back our closing date several times. We tried getting a hold of Corina multiple times on several different occasions but she ignored all our calls, voicemails and emails. The home itself is beautiful but are now having issues with leaks and things missing. The customer service person - chris- also completely ignores all the calls, voicemails and txts. Only when we complain he comes around and still doesnt actually get anything done. Rick was great to work with and we know he did his best. Brian the builder is amazing and so kind and helpful. This isnt our first home and not our first new build, this has not been the best experience. ... More

Slow down at walk through and make sure paint and dry wall is finished properly.
