The entire of using Lennar as a Mortgage Lender was very stressful and would never use them again. With such great credit and a huge amount of asset I felt I was treated like someone without a job or money. My real-estate agent Rosalie was the absolute best. she is the best employee Lennar has in this area

I was impressed with the initial process but I was given very little on what to expect once I receive the keys to my home. I received no welcome package or greetings from the team like I had received with other companies in the past when purchasing a new home. I signed the loan and they gave me the keys and sent me on my way. Typically I would be given info on who my utilities company contacts are, where to go to get my mail key. No instructions given to me for the ring. The key passcode to the garage key pad so I can reset it. Not even the website link to the portal for the home. I also ...

This is my second home purchase. My first was a D.R. Horton home. The price point is what ultimately led me to purchase this one; however, if D.R. Horton had been available, I would have chosen them again. While I understand that costs have increased, the materials used in these homes feel very cheap. The flooring is probably the worst I’ve seen, and the tile and bathroom selections could have been much better. There’s also no exterior lighting on the garage, and the paint quality is extremely poor. Overall, I just think they could have done a much better job with the materials and finishes.

It was kind of a mixed experience dealing with Lennar. I guess in this day and age, so much is electronic and that could be an issue for older, not so tech savvy folks. That was a struggle, especially since our move was from over 200 miles from the new home. Overall the home itself is great and so far andthe HOA seems to be a decent one... Again, so far. Quality of the build and materials is good. One major issue is the landscape company that put in the sod. Get another source of a landscape company because the job done on the sod for this home(and many others in the neighborhood) was really ...

Painting & trim is sloppy...

Overall, we were happy with the sales staff and construction superintendant Reese, they were very professional and respionsive. After a month in the home, everything appears to be good, with the build. I will say that the paiting job is sloppy, especially on the trim - there are runs in the trim paint, sloppy at the floor level with white paint drips and specs a lot. I wish we would have taken more time at our walk through's, but it is hard to see all this in a short period of time. I think they builda lot of homes very quickly and the fit and finish suffers. I do think we got a great ...

Positive Experience with Lennar — Room for Improvement in Build Quality

Overall, my experience with Lennar was positive in many ways. The sales team was great—friendly, professional, and wonderful to work with. The closing process went smoothly with good communication throughout. That said, the build quality could have used more attention to detail. There were several issues before after closing, but the team has been responsive and continues to work with me to resolve them. Still some things to be addressed, but I appreciate their follow-up and effort.

Closing Process Nightmares

The Lennar Track document process is completely broken. I lost large amounts of my life with the IT Helpdesk trying to make it work. So much so that I memorized the tedious process required to allow me access. Multiple times I requested that no more documents be placed there and it was done anyway. Everyone is very nice but, they don’t listen. The excessive number of emails was inconceivable. There could easily have been a consolidation of these to less than half a dozen containing a number of tasks in one. Overall, Lennar’s processes make an otherwise straightforward series of tasks into a ...

At the end of the day we love our new home. Terrible caulking job. Lots of chipped tiles. Major scratch on the shower tub combo. Slow response to questions post exchange of initial deposit. Everyone we worked with was very nice. As someone who has been in the trades for 25 years the tradesmen weren’t skilled.

Calvin is energetic and responsive, always follows through with questions or requests. He brought the overall home buying experience from a one to a 3. Requested new sod to replace the dead grass in front on walk through and it still has not been done. Lennar loan department is a JOKE. Put us through the wringer and made us late on closing. All my neighbors say the same. We have been here 6 weeks and have had 3 windows replaced due to bad stains and now the windows will not lock, Had to call them again this week. Most of the house is of good quality and workmanship.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster experience. Lennar team did grewat by trying to make the process simple and easy, but loan officer (Elijah) often went incommunicado. To make matters worse, whenever we had the rare opportunity of reaching out to him, he seemed naive and non-reassuiring, making us filled with so much uncertainty and anxiety. At a point in time, i had the feeling that probably he was new on thre job. Overall, it was a success, but a lot could have been better done.

House is good but customer service isn’t great

The sales office staff and the concierge staff isn’t very responsive nor do they seem to know a lot about the houses on the spot. I got the feeling that they were always busy and due to the fact that the sales staff was love to a new track each month they didn’t know much about the houses. Lennar having a couple documents of general information that sales staff could give out to buyers would help out. And if possible each office could keep a list of FAQ to give out would be very helpful. Also, no one ever told me that the solar wouldn’t work for the 1st couple months only learned that the day ...

Still More Work to Be Done to Build Trust

Lennar needs to re-evaluate their rules about paying realtor partners when an individual visits a location and their partner can't make it. Honoring paying a partner builds trust. They should be open to a multitude of differentiated financing products and not be status-quo just because they haven't done it before. Quality and craftsmanship of the work during the home-building process should have many quality checks to alleviate any issues during and after the buying process. The Lennar agent should honor the buyers wishes and not their own agenda because they are Corporate.

Thought was not put into the design of this home. Why in the world would anyone put a window in a walk in closet and a door on the opposite wall. Where do they expect you to hang your clothes? If they had put in a normal closet with sliding doors, there would have been more room to hang things in the closet, the room would have been bigger and had a second window.

We loved the home and we consider ourselves pretty easy customers but working with Bryan the sales consultant was terrible, we were never able to get a hold of him after he got out earnest money. You definitely get what you pay for. After having several professionals come out to look at certain things, I get the same outcome. Lennar uses the cheapest materials and will do whatever to save money on their end. A bit disappointed after only living here for less than three months. There’s paint on the floors throughout the house and even on the carpet in the bedrooms. The glue that was used for the flooring is smeared throughout the hallways and it looks terrible. Still trying to find something to remove that without ruining the floors. I have found a couple of blue tape spots that were ...

The second realtor for Lennar homes was amazing. My score would be higher if I had started with her. First impressions are everything. The first Lennar Realtor kept playing games with us and not being honest. I finally went to the head person over this area and was assigned to a realtor who would answer my questions. We love our home and very happy with it.

Our initial interaction with the sales person Deonna was wonderful - she was very responsive and answered all our questions. However, when we began the process of applying for the mortgage with Lennar out experience was horrible. We would rush to submit all the required documents and then not hear anything for weeks - and then a request would come in at the end of the day for the additional information that they needed. Would highly recommend that you NOT use Lennar for a mortgage - you are better off paying a little more to work with a company that will be responsive and respectful of ...

We were doing a 1031 exchange which amounted to 80% of the value of our condo but we were asked for so many documents that was just way too time consuming to submit, especially getting records for 8 different businesses. We were obviously qualified but they kept on asking for more and on the 11th hour we decided to pay the balance in cash. Fortunately, we had the funds, but what about others that are being harassed because the decision maker sitting behind the desk does not have any common sense at all?.
