Our new home took 21 months to deliver, it was partly because of COVID situation which is beyond anyone's control but the approvals with county took more time than expected due to property boundary issues. Lennar's communication was very poor during this time and we were notified only when we escalated it. But once all the approvals were received the construction went as planned and home was built in 7 months. On the build quality, the materials used by Lennar were of good quality. The workmanship was average. The construction manager was helpful and answered every question with patience but was clearly overwhelmed as more than 4-5 units were under construction at the same time. Given the supply/workforce issues our Project Manager did a good job on managing the final construction phase to closing.

Lennar did not deliver as promised. It's my second home with Lennar. It's NOTHING like the first time. From the timeliness to quality of work being subpar. Quite honestly im NOT a happy camper. The only thing I got from Lennar on a timely and consistent basis was EXCUSES that didn't make sense.

The bottom line is that Lennar has grown out and failed to grow in. This unprecedented market unfortunately promulgates an attitude of quantity over quality. It’s blatantly apparent from nearly top to bottom. I would challenge Lennar to truly look at satisfaction ratings of the entire Bryant Square community. There HS absolutely a systemic failure that needs addressed. The most efficient, caring and compassionate entity was with Megan and Morgan in the loan Dept as well as the closing process. Other than that, I will never buy another Lennar home. I am not alone in this opinion.

Most of all, overall floors layout are great and convenient. The process of purchasing experience is good too.

I'm having a difficult time giving a great review due to some of the issues that, we are going through. Poor craftsmanship, bad painting, bad sod, and the list goes on. I had a better experience in Nevada in 2009 when I purchased my first home from Lennar. Sorry they need to hire better professionals.

Their motto of everything included is a good one for their process. Although they offer no choices to customize the house it is a well thought out home. The process is Lennar all the way, seamless and easy.

Nothing but professional the whole time thought the buying process.

We went under contract six months prior before the home was finished. Im married. We made the offer under my name, but for investment purposes, we wanted to have my wife be on the house instead of myself. This is a simple process, it just needs to be approved by the builder. Literally we had sent them the document and all they had to do was sign it to get it done. We tried to do this a few months before close, but the Lennar denied. And it wasn’t like my wife didn’t have the qualifications. She was pre-approved and we would’ve closed on time. I think that because the value of the house went up, they were looking to have us drop out by not willing to work with us in hopes to sell it to someone else and keep our builders deposit of 10%. It was just bad service. We ended up closing on the property and I stayed on the house to get it done, but it was a simple request that they didn’t work with us on. Bad service. We were given highly optimistic completion dates which sales knew would not be achievable. We felt that we were lied. We made accordingly.

It all starts with the closing. Initially we were to close on the last Tuesday of the month. Because of work, I requested the closing to be moved to the Friday of that same week. I was denied. I then organized a POA and had to fly my POA all the way to California for this closing only to be told less than a week prior that the house was not ready and closing was to be moved to the date I originally wanted. Overall, prior to actually moving in, the closing date was shifted a total of FOUR times. Each time being a last minute change to the closing date. Set a closing date and STICK WITH IT. Take your customer's wishes into account not just your own desire to pad your numbers. The house itself was in an unsatisfactory state considering how much I paid for the house. Of course there is a warranty right? Wrong. "Oh that's is not actually covered by the warranty" has been an excuse I've heard for a few things that were wrong with the house. For things that are covered, it has been a NIGHTMARE trying to get trades to come out. It's like Lennar actually expects me to wait all day for a trade to come out. STOP scheduling in 4 hour blocks. It's ridiculous. Schedule things at fixed times. Additionally, it has been slow just scheduling these appointments. Stop having your foreman schedule them, and just give the us, the customer, the opportunity to schedule them for ourselves so I'm not waiting three months for work to be done to my house. Lastly, the foreman are not the best because I am lied to constantly. Whether they lie about doing work, or I'm told "no, that is normal" only for me to push for a professional to look at it and the professional agreeing with me that my concern is in fact not normal. Tell your foreman to be honest. If something is wrong, that's fine let's just schedule a trade and get it fixed, but DO NOT lie to me about something being normal when it's not. Your foremen have never heard the phrase "under promise and over deliver." Tell them to stop making promises they can't keep and tell them to stop lying. In conclusion: 1.Your closing process needs to be fixed. Set a date and STICK WITH IT. 2.Fix things in a timely manner and stop expecting your new home owners to wait all day for trades to come out. Schedule appointments to the hour, not in FOUR hour blocks and give the customer the option to work directly with the trade! Your foreman are slacking at scheduling appointments. 3. Your foreman need to "under promise and over deliver." Additionally, they need to STOP LYING and be honest. ... More

I never expected the following from the Lennar a reputed builder! 1. We were told that the house will be closed by October-November of 2021. But the house was closed on April 28, 2022. The 6 months delay. 2. The house was not ready at the time of closing. We were forced to close the home on closing day since me moved from out of state. The new closing date would have been 1-2 months later. 3. The quality of workmanship is poor with lots of issues. 4. Lennar still have to fix the issues with drywall, electric wiring, garage door, kitchen cabinets, carpet, painting, plumbing etc. 5. Due to delay in closing, our home mortgage interest was increased by 2.25% which increased our monthly mortgage payments. 6. Except James the sales person, no one responded to our phone calls and messages in timely manner. I hope Lennar would compensate us for all the pain and embarrassment we are going through. ... More

The experience was not good and that’s being kind. The mortgage person had no idea what was going on. The setup of the first 3 homes upon moving in left use not knowing who any of the utilities where going to be we had to figure it out ourselves. 2 month later we where able to get internet but are still waiting for mailbox’s. And the craftsmanship shows that everything was just slapped together as fast as possible and getting someone to fix the issues was a waste of time I have done most of what I asked to be done myself. And the house was filthy for buying a brand new home.

It wasn’t a bad over all experience, until after you close and there still a list of things incomplete, and they don’t want to do the completion of there build. Then it will become a “process”, and beyond that your home will have a broken fridge and a missing glass panel out of your garage and rooms missing door stops in. Not bitter, just do better.

With the home buying market being as insane as it was in early 2022, we chose to go the NEW HOME route to make sure we got what we were looking for and without the fear of someone outbidding us. The whole process from viewing the models, to financing and after the sale Customer service has been excellent

So we ended a 5 year home search with Lennar in the fantastic neighborhood of the Falls at Green Meadows. Christy the Lennar realtor was fantastic, in fact if it wasn't for her, we would not have been here. The whole team from Lennar has been super, Liz the foreman, Jorge, the customer rep and all the people in the Mortgage Dept were superb !! Now I won't lie and not say that we didnt have some issues, but they are expected and Lennar is doing great in taking care of them. A wonderful Company and fantastic people !

After a month, I am still cleaning Grout and painting on the tile.

However once you’ve paid for your home, the Lennar team severely lacks in finishing anything that needs to be corrected and fixed. You get stuck on a waitlist behind other already established homes. These were items that should have been fixed BEFORE I ever moved in. 2 months later I’m still waiting for corrections.

Construction manager is very very good and helpful but the final output and the materials of the home is not upto the expectations.

We had a great experience with Jen during the sales process. Linh was great to work with on the mortgage side. Jonathan has been great on following up on some issues that we found on our walk through and soon after we moved in. The one thing that could be improved is the landscaping. The landscaping could have been planned better so we wouldn't still have a dirt yard 2 months after closing.

Worst buying experience in my life 7 months late, incomplete at time of closing,still have a dozen open items on the to do list. Can’t get a return phone call

Our journey with Lennar has been smooth. Newly constructed home looks and feels great! Lennar delivered on time, and with quality. It has been almost 1.5 months since we moved in to this new home and so far, few initial minor issues found after move-in were promptly and professionally serviced by Lennar team. I recommend Lennar for those home buyers who want to buy a brand new home. Lennar is very organized.
