My fourth home with Lennar but this one was the worst experience from home buying, Lennar financing, materials, workmanship and customer support. Will never go back to Lennar specially in Central Valley.

Impressed with the professionalism and wanting to please new home owners. If there were any issues, warranty handed in a timely manner.

Had the worst experience with the mortgage company as the agent handling the paper work doesn't know the calculation. Plus requested unnecessary documents from the third party as there personal bank statements which at the was not provided and still loan was approved. Really bad material plus construction work. It's not even month and floor started making noises as old houses. Basement has leaks as we started water sprinklers just think water is coming into basement just from water sprinklers that are used to water garden. Still don't have mailbox for the house. So have to go to USPS to get the mails. Bathroom tab started leaking water when made complaint in warranty still haven't scheduled to repair it. When asked who will pay bill for the water as it is continuously leaking and the answer was that is normal the bill won't be that big. No one wants to answer their phones and keep avoiding you. ... Cindy from the sales team was amazing! Troy was wonderful in assisting us with resolving credit issues. The quality of the workmanship was subpar and the fact that I had medicine cabinets linen closets, and ample storage space in my 2 bedroom apartment and not in a $300,000 home makes the value for the price paid less than great!

We have lived in this since 1 June. The craftsmanship is average at best. Very cheap paint on walls. You can’t even brush up against them because you will leave a mark. Caulking is chipping a long with the cheap paint. Driveway is already chipping concrete and upstairs has spots where creaking sounds are heard while walking. Lastly if you want to have a nail poke your foot, just come walk on our carpet, especially when entering or exiting a doorway. You’ll put shoes on! It’s unfortunate that it would seem profit is priority over quality because people just want to chalk it up as being “ a home owner” expense. If it’s done right the first time with the proper materials, I believe in the long run they make more money, but there inline is the problem, people want there money now and have no loyalty. People at a company for an extended amount of time is just not the case anymore. . I gave the overall buying process 4 stars, because it was very good. Charles and Elizabeth have been fantastic. Very responsive! The inevitable "fixes" for the house are taken care of quickly.

Lennar went all the way to make sure l get into my new home! The service was awesome!!!

The paint job mostly on the inside of the home was the worst I ever experienced. There are whole strips of wall not painted. They missed along the base boards, corners and doors. I tried to get it touched up by they still did a sloppy job missing most areas. During the walk through the Lennar rep used blue painter tape to also mark missed areas. It appears the painters just took down the blue tape and didn't touch up all missed spots. Every neighbor has complied about the interior painting. Even your own reps said it was poor. But they had no control of the painters, it was common knowledge how poor the painters were. Very frustrating. Also, the open shower enclosure just floods the bathroom. Poor design. Everyone from the sales person Nate to the construction managers Charlie & Glenn were great. They kept us informed of the process and time frame. All the subs did a great job . We love our home . Thank you to all.

Robin was THE key!! From the first meeting to the last. Most valuable employee!! Chris was very good and helpful also!

Our experience working directly with Lennar was great from the start. Joseph, our sales rep, was helpful in guiding us to what model we went with, the bidding process, and keeping us updated throughout the process. Justin our construction manager was very thorough with the construction. I felt like it was very quality craftsmanship throughout the home! We haven’t had any major issues to work through and everything worked as expected. The smart home system can be a bit overwhelming but now that we are settled in, everything is working great! The community is unlike any other, amazing!

many post- Move in craftsmanship issues; we expected that there would be greater attention to detail… lennar project leaders were prompt and courteous relative to submitted claims to fix the issues; however, we believe many of the issues should have been identified / resolved before we moved in

It would go a long way if the process after closing was better explained, not clear at all. Punch list is a joke, because it isn’t done prior to close and then you have to chase to get them done. Love the floor plan and the neighborhood, Lennar not so much! Very disappointing process all the way around.

Worst experience ever. Showed up day of closing to complete punch walk review and then head to closing. Show up and nothing on punch list was completed. Construction PM left as he had prior obligations. Never mentioned that we did not have a CO and couldn’t close. After waiting for over hour and half for someone else to show up to walk home ( no one ever did ) we get a call that CO won’t happen for another 5 days. This was 30 minutes before closing at lawyers office. Also found out that they don’t detail clean houses prior to closing and it’s new owners responsibility to have detailed clean, they only perform a quick wipe down. We have lived in house for over 30 days now and punch list items are still lingering and not closed out. Construction PM sends guys to fix but never instructs them what it is so I have to spend time pointing everything out. Most interactions with the subs that have come to fix items goes like this. “ Hey, Kevin sent me over to fix punch items but didn’t tell me what it is I actually need to do”. As far as quality of home and workmanship, I have never seen anything worse. Walls have lumps in them from where patches were attempted and not properly fixed. Paint drips from excess paint on walls. Ceiling lights that are not flush to ceiling because the cans were not set flush to ceiling. Tile in showers that feels like a mountain range. The list goes on and on about how bad Lennar is at building homes. I fully have accepted the fact that I am going to have to pay a painter to come in and fix most Sheetrock and trim plus repaint most of house. The advice I give to everyone that ask how I like my new house is stay away from new construction and don’t ever buy from Lennar. You pay the price of a Cadillac and are given beat up used car in return. I cannot express enough my dissatisfaction with Lennar. Closing was delivered as promised, many things were not properly completed and yet to be completed. The staff was very friendly, easy to communicate with, while the house was built to my expectation. Hope to have the blue tape remove soon. The house is great, we love it, ty Ryan

Great value in these times.

Terrible overall experience. The homes are quickly built we zero attention to detail. I’ve been there for close to two months and we’re still trying to finish repairs from initial walk through.

Closing was very unorganized. Dates changed. Lennar blames my lender, lender blames lennar. Never knew the truth.

I’ve been in construction 12 years never seen such poor workmanship and we moved in with promises of our driveway and being done by July 9th and still waiting on irrigation and sod its almost august

everything is nice and the closing also went smooth.

A lot of issues still left to be resolved but overall an ok experience

Overall the quality control systems by lennar are poor to average at best. Their system is cumbersome and it takes many attempts in order to get issues resolved. Seem like they are rushing delivery of homes in order to make up monthly numbers to meet Wall Street expectations and in so doing a lot is left undone before closing which forces you into warranty for completion. Worked with many builders and it definitely seem that upper management needs to re-evaluate at their operations.

We are very happy and absolutely love our home, we are glad we chose Lennar to build our beautiful home.
