Love our house and community. Some of the craftsmanship is not exactly worthy of 700K plus homes. Responsiveness to warranty issues has been very disappointing overall.

Non standard pricing on townhome designs and no quality of workmanship

There is no standard pricing on townhomes here as the prices are costlier for first time buyers versus investment home. Costlier prices for normal home than the upgraded homes. So, there is no standard trusted builder pricing as the prices going along the tide. Faster completion of homes, but no proper nailing & who knows what's gone inside the drywall !

The home buying process itself was great and Lucas the sales associate was very helpful and engaged throughout the process. However, after moving into our new home, it was like playing cat and mouse game trying to get work orders completed. Even for issues such as gas leak considered emergency took over a week to fix. As I'm writing this review, I had a water leak in my master bedroom 2 weeks ago and a Lennar staff member came to look at it himself and that was the last time I heard from anyone. Our home is beautiful but we have to have several things corrected which we shouldn’t have had to do since it’s a brand new house. The main thing is the painting - both inside and outside the house. It seems like it was rushed and several walls had to be repainted. We have had to put in tickets, then schedule appointments, then be home for the repairs. It is time consuming and, like I said, shouldn’t have happened since this is a brand new house.

Felt there was no pride in the craftsmanship and that the house was rushed for a completion date. To have things looked at or fixed, you have to call incessantly. Overall we have a very nice home but the process has been full of headaches and challenges.

Make sure you really check out the home before you buy, when we moved in the house was a mess, painting and a few carpentry items were done very sloppy. Paint on the floor every where.

Great home for the price. Larry with Eagle Mortgage was outstanding, as was the onsite customer service staff. The staff that works with you to correct any issues during the walk through are awful. My suggestion is make all flaws found during walk through are corrected before you pay, otherwise good luck getting things corrected. The lawn and landscaping are terrible unless you like dead grass and lots of weeds. After 6 months of living there, I finally gave up hope on getting things corrected, so I did them myself. I think it would be good customer service to at least check in with the new ...

We were happy to find a home that fit our needs - that gave us the space and aesthetics we wanted in an area that we are so happy with. I would be lying if I said we weren't worried going in to this transaction as Lennar has MANY negative reviews scattered about the internet. From sale to close, and beyond, I can summarize our interactions, both good and bad, as mediocre. This is largely because, I feel, there is a lack of ownership across the experience. Shimming and shaving of interior walls poorly done. Walls bowing and bulging in several places. Many times we’ve been told the fix is worse than what you have. Concrete work poorly done. We finally got the driveway replaced but we still have cracks on front steps and sidewalks.

Rushed Build

Everything started off amazing, however they rushed the close of our house leaving many issues after close. We are still finding issues, but likely we are still under warranty and the warranty department has been great. The sales rep. Bob was also fantastic. I am torn on if I would recommend Lennar as the closing process was absolutely horrible.

Poor after care and smarthouse doesn’t work

We’ve had nothing but problems with after care service. In fact, they no showed AGAIN today to fix our house. The 30 day walk occurred 4 months late. The smarthouse concept we jokingly call the dumbhouse.

Not sure I would build new again

After months of delays, which I’ve learned seems to be the norm when building a new home, I finally moved in. There have been some issues that needed addressing & so far many of them have been. My closing experience was four hours of Awful with CalAtlantic title but the best part of my new home experience was working with Shane S. the contractor. If it would not have been for him I may have called it quits. Being able to choose the floors, counters & cabinets was great. There are still a few issues needing to be completed but overall my home is beautiful & I love my view.

So this is a wonderful area...new homes that are spacious with lots of floors! My partner and I have been here for 6 months and have ran into some issues, like every new home owner does.. some of the people have been very responsive to our queries and others have been less than, We as a community put money into these homes that seem to not require attention from the builders, once the home owner is moved in. When issues arise takes forever to resolve the issues

The house looked perfect from inside out but when we started living we found so many issues from day one. All three bathroom toilets had cracks on different areas and took almost 2 months to replace all three of them. Master bath tub faucet was dripping for a month even though they tried to fix it couple of times. Finally they figured out that it was installed wrong way and came up with a decision to cut the tub and fix it. We have another big issue with ants, it seems the house is built on top of ant hill. Very nice house with landscaping drainage issues

The houses should have gutters on the sides of them..... The houses are built so close together that when it rains the water runs off of both roofs so hard and so fast that the water cannot drain into the ground fast enough and it creates a big mud pit between the two houses. They want to charge me $800 for each side of my brand new house to put in a drain and regrade the ground to fix the drainage problem. Why should I have to pay to regrading the ground or to install a drain on a brand new home.

Nice people, poor contractors

The team for Lennar are awesome, but the quality, design, and contractors used are lacking. Contractors are sloppy and leaves trash throughout site and neighborhood, design was not up to my expectations, plenty of room but lacked drawers in bathroom and linen closet.

Lennar has not lived up to the standards promised with upkeep in the community. They were very happy to take money for the creation of an HOA, but there are no actualized benefits (i.e. common area upkeep, community monument), and so the community looks 'cheap' compared to those in the neighborhood. There are pros and cons to buying a cookie-cutter home, and just make sure that you are aware before committing your savings!

We have built two other houses in the past and I will have to say that Lennar has had more issues we have needed repaired then any other home we think perhaps there needs to be better people doing the work to make sure these issues don’t arise or perhaps longer building time. We did also notice that a few houses that were built after us had upgraded stove and ovens which we felt we should of had as well. We do love the layout of our home and our community as well. Just wish some things were more consistent.

Considering the amount of money paid, the customer service in regards to warranty work has been awful! I feel like I get better service at drive thru window. Timeliness and communication from our rep Ryan is some of the worst I've ever had. When I asked for contact info for the supervisor, the request was ignored and it wasn't until I reached out to the sales office that I got that information.
