Was not able to purchase, very pushing technique, asking for the full down payment upfront as a deposit with the risk of loosing it. I'm use to down payments being given at closing

Terrible sales staff. Frustrating trying to get response. We bought because we wanted the home but process was terrible. Be prepared for frustration, changing prices, pressure to make deposit without firm pricing.

We truly like our new home. However, the process of getting there was a little rough. The loan process - really bumpy, then they sold our loan. The responsiveness to issues with the house, and there were several, has been slow to resolve and have had to keep after them to get some of the items fixed.

The price of the house was good, everything else was mediocre at best. Craftsmanship was sub par, many issues im still dealing with 2 month later. Brand new washer leaks, fridge is dented from whoever installed it, finish carpentry is poor. There are hidden fees they don’t tell you about, like the service area assessment fee which is 274 a quarter! Buyer beware! Do your homework.

Issues started the next day after moving in

Had a major water leak the 2nd day after moving in. The drywall, cabinets baseboard and kitchen floor had to be replaced. Lot of air leaks makes the house uninhabitable on cold days..

My wife & I visited a lot of 55+ communities between SC-NC-FL & GA. We focused only on Moving ready types of single family homes. The models by Lennar captured our heart as the floor plan matches everything we were looking for. The Master Bedroom, the 2 guess rooms, the open kitchen & living room space were perfect. Thank you lennar for the trust. I've exposed all my situation and you made it. Have a such amazing experience on buy house is something that you guys own it. From showing the models, negotiating the mortgage and walk way down all the process was simple easy and black and white. The only point you guys really need to improve is the final support when we found issues. This means, you guys need process and customer service which really follows what is happening. I had some issues and everytime when I reach out to your guys, took way too much to be heard and the problems solved.

I am very disappointed in the fact that we addressed some issues around the house annd the yard and we were told they would be taken care of, but they were not. It is sad to buy a new construction home and to have things not taken care of. This was not what we expected.

Overall, it was a good buying experience and the home itself and community are great. However, there were a few areas for improvement: (1) Our home was ready for occupancy on closing day, but was very dirty and was never cleaned. There was drywall dust on the top of doorframes, window sills and the refrigerator. The floors were filthy. (2) Many of the items noted in our pre-closing walkthrough were not completed before occupancy. Overall happy with the home; after replacing the very cheap appliances. The cabinets are functional but lower quality and probably will need replacing at some point. Happy with the structure of the house and the layout; Lennar has been very responsive to any issues. I would avoid Lennar financing if at all possible; it was a nightmare trying to satisfy all of their massive documentation requirements and felt like a part time job.

Smooth Mortgage Process, but Finish Quality Lacks Detail

The mortgage process itself was incredibly smooth and definitely a 5-star experience; the team made that part very easy. However, regarding the house quality, I have mixed feelings. While the home is decent overall, the workmanship is "good" when it could have been great. For a home price of over $500k, I expected much more attention to detail, specifically in the bathrooms and kitchen. We noticed that the tiles are not level in some areas, and the grout and caulking work could be significantly better. Overall, it is an okay home, but not something to brag about. These Lennar people build very bad quality houses which is honestly fine with the one year warranty covering everything in the house but the catch is that they will give you a runaround and never help you out so then you’re stuck over paying for a crappy house

The house is nice, but since I’ve been in my home I have had to replace tankless heater, washer is not working well, a lot of calking is cracking, the tile is very cheap and cracking throughout the house. For the price the house is valued at , it should not be valued over 300k. The sod in the yard was put down poorly and the garage door is already messed up. Not too happy with all the things wrong but I am happy I have property and will most likely sell in a few years not what I was expecting at all.
