Lennar does not respond to issues with my home, the common areas, and HOA is out of control and non-responsive.

This is the fourth home I’ve bought and none have been so frustrating with the paperwork as purchasing this house. It got to the point of them asking for more and more paperwork that it was completely affecting my job and my sanity. That being said, the people I dealt with on the mortgage side were always extremely polite and helpful so that made it a little better. Now on the home side… I’m six or seven weeks in and I’m still waiting on them to fix issues they signed off on saying would be fixed before we moved in. Our entire house needs to be repainted because of the bleeding through of the ...

The quality of materials used in home are not satisfied and cuts so many corners to save money by builders. Every times when we ask for some thing, the only excuse they have that other owners did not like that. The clubhouse is awesome but did not spend even 20% of the money in houses.

To start, my 3rd party inspector found way too many issues for a brand new home. Now that it has been a month more and more issues pop up. I can barely get the warranty rep (Hunter) to even return my call after giving him 12 days to review the newest case I have submitted. I am currently not satisfied with my overall experience and Lennar could do better.

Getting customer care to take care of issues is a hassle when it shouldn’t be. The HOA is not the best. The amenities are not usable due to HOA rules and not managing the budget properly. The country should be able to step in and do something. They building all these homes but then after you buy you find out that you can't use the gym u can use the pool except for certain days now. It's just not worth the amount you pay in dues.customer service can be improved all the way around from construction manager to customer care.

Could be a lot better if the Customer Care personally inspect the actual situation of the issue instead of using the "Visual" check. This way the issue will be corrected immediately and effectively. "Visual Check" step creates more over head expenses and wasting time for Lennar Homes process.

Frist off my Loan officer wea great as for everyone else so disorganized there’s details in the house that we see that we live there now that are not so great tape and flows. Not so great they laid the grass they didn’t put topsoil. You could see underneath my concrete pad for my condenser AC unit outside now I have to put top soil my paint is peeling on my siding. It is so many things that should’ve been done a lot better and they didn’t do good job on

We closed on May 30, 2023, still waiting for the house keys, still waiting for the floors to be cleaned. (glue smeared on the floors) We have still not moved in, so hoping before July 30th the floors will be cleaned and we will have our house keys. Just in case I just bought a floor steam cleaner to get the job done. Also wondering how the hurricane shutters work..They need to have something like a New Home Ambassador to help the new owner and answer our questions. Like when is the trash pickup?

Our sales person was jolly and happy but ill-prepared from beginning to end. Uninformed, unresponsive, fragmented answers, and less willing to help after closing. I am not surprised as she already made her commission!! Workmanship was a joke. Unsquared rooms, unleveled walls, irregular tile grouting, dings on appliances, and other minor flaws. No one cared to do a quick inspection before calling us to inspect. Zero quality control. Post-sale repairs are also another joke. We are still getting through some of these corrections and hope to close them soon. To escalate issues is IMPOSSIBLE! No ...

We really love the area that we are in. Sure we wish some of items of the community were different. The communication with the sales rep was ok. I never heard from him on the closing day or after. Not even a check in to make sure everything was good. The New Home Orientation seemed to be a pretty decent list before we closed on the house. It has been two and a half months since closing and we are still waiting on some of those items to be fixed.

Lennar’s branding and sales (Sarah was great!) and the layout of my Davis home drew me in. Decent incentives before year’s end. I was impressed with the level of communication through the first months of build. Patrick, one of the construction managers, was super helpful. Once the timeline got closer things started a bit more chaotic. A major hail storm didn’t help. The last construction manager was very frustrating to work with - didn’t listen nor communicate well. Chris, head of construction, came thru in the end — listening well. This being my first new build, I was frustrated once ...

We went with Lennar thinking everything would be smooth and it turned out a little complicated from the beginning. Had to transfer our contract 3 different times and when we found the home we wanted we ran into some issues with some windows, AC unit, cabinets, concrete. When we ask for these things to get fixed it takes forever for a response.

If you're looking for a low-quality/maybe middle-of-the-pack type starter home, this is a good start. If you're looking for high-quality finishes and not find any issues like what I found with scratches, dirt on finished drywalls, debris throughout the property, stained driveway, messy finishes like clean caulked edges, etc. to have to contact the crew to finish/fix things, then you are better off looking elsewhere. The move-in experience was mediocre. I was introduced the smart-home features super fast a week prior to move-in/closing date. So everything that was informed to me I had to ...
