Lennar is HANDS DOWN the BEST builder we have worked with or come across. Their houses are gorgeous and the workmanship and list of inclusions is amazing! They make you feel valued and care about your home. However, our experience with their lender was horrible and I would suggest using your own mortgage company.

Please keep away from Lennar. They tell you one thing and then do something in the back. When questioned, they say, "oh my mistake" etc or delegate that messaging to someone else. No one really takes responsibility for the mistakes.

Everything he promised to do before I moved in was finished beautifully. He has always been extremely courteous, punctual, always removed his shoes. Has made me feel confident about the little issues that had to be done. Would recommend him to anyone!

We got in a waiting list for a Cumberland home and were notified in October 2021 that we were next up. From day 1, Angela was awesome to wok with. She communicated the process, provided weekly updates, and responded to emails and text messages. We live out of state and needed to rely on Lennar for updates as it was not possible for us to be on site routinely during the process. For ease, we decided to go with Lennar Mortgage. Shelley was super friendly and helpful as well, even having an initial conversation with me on a Saturday. We did get to visit the property a couple of times with advance notice and were given a tour and had our questions answered. Walkthrough pre closing and final walkthroughs revealed some issues as were to be expected- touch ups needed, etc. We had an issue with the driveway and a sink faucet that were quickly addressed. We cannot say enough good things about Gary! He is knowledgeable, personable, and kind! We had to have the driveway repoured. This meant we couldn’t drive on it but needed a place to put a POD. He promised and delivered on getting the big dumpster in front of the house moved for the POD to be delivered. After closing, we met with Kyle who was in charge of Warranty information. It was a LOT of information but he explained everything thoroughly and answered our questions, providing us with his contact information if we needed him for anything. This was our first experience with Lennar. We have personally had a new construction and complete renovation experiences before. Doing this at a 1000 mile distance was as easy as it could be. We closed on our house March 25, 2022! This was FIVE MONTHS after signing the contract! Lennar should recognize the value that Angela, Shelley, Kyle, and Gary brings! Angela was our first point of contact and make a great first impression. Shelley with Lennar Mortgage made the process as easy as a mortgage approval can be! Kyle knew his stuff! communication with builder back and forth is very smooth and friendly

Marc keep me updated weekly. That was very important when it came to planning my move. The only thing Lennar could improve on is presenting a gift at closing. For example a bottle of wine and two glasses to say thank you and welcome to your new home. All homes I have purchased new provided a welcome gift. The apartment I stayed in gave a nice welcome gift.

Cannot opt out of very cheap appliances. Had to get rid of appliances before installing up graded appliances. Can’t make any changes, not even to add an electrical outlet.

I feel that once the deal close all assist close too! I need help setting up my smart home! Cabinets not complete! I had issues with two cabinet and one was fixed and Alex will not confirm the two cabinet that also had a split in it they try to paint over but it need new cabinet

The whole experience was a struggle from the start. The house was started and then sat for 2 months while nothing was done. I was given bogus reasons, like the lumber was stolen. Only to confirm later that wasn't the case. A manager had order the wrong lumber, instead of fixing it try to cover it up. Which led to further miscommunication and further delays. Two windows were installed completely broken. I pointed this out months in advance, the week of closing it was still unrepaired. Finally the day before it was fixed after I had to nearly threaten to sue the building manager. I wouldn't recommend building with Lennar, unless you really like the home and community. the entire process of walkthru, regular updates about the progress, and the quality of everything was a plus otherwise other companies offer basic and then ask for upgrading everything which becomes a pain in the neck.

It has good customer service

Many variances from house to house. Initial finishing work not to standard. Punch list process is confusing and not very efficient. The bones of the house are great. It's taken over 40 days to get the needed corrections taken care of.

Apparently very rushed as workmanship is definitely lacking. Difficult to have customer care remedy many issues.

Lennar home are good but they use some cheap material like a home stove , microwave and dishwasher they look like an Apartment, garage no paint kitchen no access to open the window no vent for a microwave, you need little work after you buy the house overall the house is Good

The craftsmanship is a disaster. The corners on the rounded wall has plastic exposed. The floor was not cleaned for paint and tape adhesive. The windows and hot water connection in master bath were not repaired after multiple after multiple complaints. The home hand off was delayed by Lennar which drove the interest rate significantly and the lender was, lack of a better term, super arrogant and wantedly delayed locking the interest rate. The sales people were terrible and were very unsupportive. There was no help during the move in time and never gave the hand out for essentials like water or natural gas providers. Overall experience has been okay thus far - not great. MANY frustrations along the way and some very basic issues that should never have been problems in the first place.. Most issues are eventually addressed but responsiveness has often been poor. Most definitely room for improvement all the way around.

The price that I paid for the house that I got doesn't match. The quality of workmanship is very poor. It's not just one area, it's everywhere. Foundation concrete has stains, colors on the porch (from and back) both are single coats that can last one year. The second floor is uneven, the walls are not perfect at 90 degrees. It's been two months since we moved in but already there are cracks in the concrete. Cleaning (inside and outside) was not properly done. Even after raising the service requests, no one looked at it. Lennar was focused on closing the house rather than giving a quality product. The same issue was there with my neighbor. The final quality checks by the supervisor or responsible team were mediocre. Experience started out really well. Realitor was very helpful and called me every week with progress reports. This was great , and everything seemed to be going as planned. We set a close date and I flew in to close taking a late flight to make it to an 8 AM walkthrough prior to closing. When I arrived there was no welcoming party or Realitor. Just the builder stating he this was his first walk through without his team. The house was not finished with the blue tape touch ups and it was not cleaned. Because I got in late and was tired I took the builder at his word it would get taken care of. The only other thing that had happend is the lennar mortgage company called me the week before closing and stated they would need an extra 2k to keep the rate they had locked in prior to closing. This miffed me but I was excited and I thought but using lennar mortgage and lennar insurance and everything lennar Recommended then I thought they would treat me well. After closing this has not been the case. The builder ( or project manager Charlie ) did everything he could to get me to sign off on his part of the work by promising the warranty department would be fantastic when I got in touch. Several issues besides the paint and cleanup arose and the warranty department came out. When this home was finished the last person who painted the interior of the home got paint on all the floors , and even left a layer of paint in the childrens bath tub. He also painted portions of the siding the wrong color. The warranty department lied to my face in saying “ the paint would blend in” in 6 months. Using my neighbors paint color to touch up siding and leaving the neighborhood blotchy , and lying to me is basically what I have been left with. It is may and we still have not gotten any grass that was promised. So my yard is a mud pit. Thankfully for me this is a second home and I only come during time off and I don’t have to look at this stuff everyday. So I’m starting to feel completely scammed , and on the wrong end of a bad Lennar job. This is a track townhouse , and I understand nothing is perfect but now I’m finding out the year of free Hoa fees was also actually wrapped into my closing so that’s another 3 something thousand that has been added to the closing situation. If you are buying a lennar home I would get your own Realitor , mortgage company ( or pay cash ) , insurance company , and any other form of outside institution to help you , and work with because lennar isn’t on Par. We had a good experience with Lennar. The overall quality is as per the price you pay. It will be good if they can allow little bit of customizations. Their overall response to the issues is good.

Our sales rep and project manager were amazing. We love our new home and community.

Lennar's associates were quick to response to our concerns/questions. Additionally, they guided us every step of the way to purchase a beautiful home.

Lori was very helpful throughout the buying process. The maintenance guys have been very responsive.

Kevin is horrible. Lennar mortgage ran my social security number without my consent. I had told Kevin that I had my one lender but he would not listen. I felt like he took advantage of me because I was a single mom doing this on my own.
